6. Place the appliance at least 5cm of the wall or
flammable objects (such as curtains, candles or
towels).
7. Disconnect the mains plug: after each time operating;
if there is any interference with operation; before
cleaning.

edges and keep it away from hot objects and open
flames.

12. It is necessary to keep this appliance clean because it
is in direct contact with food.
13. Parts of the appliance become hot during use.
Therefore, the appliance must only be held by the
handle. Avoid touching the metal parts as they
become very hot.
14. The heating element has been slightly greased and as
a result the appliance might slightly smoke when
switched on for the first time. After a short while,
this will cease. Let the appliance work for 10 minutes
before first use, this will remove the smell and smoke.
15. Always attach the probe to griddle before plugging
cord into wall outlet. To disconnect, turn
temperature control knob to “OFF”, then remove
plug from wall outlet.
