Intended use
• Measuring operations in the range of excess voltage category III
(up to max. 600V against ground potential, pursuant to EN 61010-1)
or lower and display of the electric parameters
• Alternate and direct current measuring up to max. 600 V
• Measurement of direct and alternating voltage up to max. 200 mA
• It is also designed to measure resistance values of up to 40 MOhm.
• Continuity check (< 150 ohms acoustic).
• Diode test
• Contact-free alternate voltage detector in a range from
100 - 600 V/AC
• Short-time measuring with reduced input resistance to suppress
phantom voltage
Operation is only admissible with button cell batteries type LR44.
The measuring instrument must not be operated when it is open, i.e.
with an open battery compartment or when the battery compartment
cover is missing. Measuring in damp rooms or under adverse
ambient conditions are not admissible.
Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
• excessive dampness or humidity
• Dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
• electrical storms or conditions as during a storm, e.g. strong elec-
trostatic fields, etc.
Any use other than that described above will damage the product and
may involve other risks, such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.
Do not change or modify any part of the product!
