9.1.1 To lower the handle assembly (Fig. 6)
▪ Loosen both wing nuts from the upper handle (7).
NOTE: If the handle lock is difficult to open, loosen the knobs on the upper
handle locks by turning them counterclockwise.
▪ Afterwards, fold the handle to the front of the unit. Avoid pinching or trapping any cables.
9.2 Grass catcher assembly (Fig. 7 – Fig. 8)
1. Buckle the left lower cover and the right lower cover.
2. Buckle the upper cover and the lower cover.
3. Buckle the handle on the top cover.
9.3 Installing the grass catcher (for rear bagging operation) (Fig. 9)
▪ Remove key and battery pack.
▪ Lift the rear discharge door.
▪ Lift the grass catcher by its handle and place under the rear discharge door so that the
hooks on the grass catcher are seated onto the slots on the mower housing.
▪ Release the rear discharge door.
▪ Reinstall key and battery pack when you are ready to mow.
10 OPERATION
10.1 Starting/stopping the mower
▪ Raise the battery cover (5).
▪ Install battery pack (9).
▪ Insert the key (2) into the key hole.
▪ Lower the battery cover.
▪ Press and hold the start button (1). Pull the switch lever (8) toward the handle and release
the button to start the mower.
▪ To stop the mower, release the switch lever (8).
10.2 Setting blade height
When shipped, the wheels on the mower are set to a low-cutting position. Before using the
mower for the first time, raise the cutting position to the height best suited for your lawn.
10.3 To adjust the blade height (Fig. 10 – Fig. 12)
▪ Remove key and battery pack.
▪ Loosen the wheel assembly nut and remove the wheel nut and wheel, insert the wheel
assembly nut with the wheel into the highest/middle or lowest assembly hole, position the
other three wheels at the same height and tighten the wheel assembly nut.
▪ Reinstall key (2) and battery pack when you are ready to mow.
10.4 Grass box warning system (Fig. 13)
There is a warning piece in the grass catcher which will indicate the grass volume.
▪ If the flap is open it means that there is still space for grass collection.
▪ If the flap is closed it means that there is no space for grass collection.
