Your mouse sander is equipped with TPR soft grip and protective parts. TPR (Thermoplastic
rubber) is elastic, chock absorbing and environmental friendly (recyclable).
10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before attempting to use your sander be sure to familiarize yourself with all its operating
features and safety requirements.
Warning! The sander should always be disconnected from the power supply
when assembling parts, marking adjustments, cleaning or when the tool is
not in use. Disconnecting the tool will prevent accidental starting that could
cause serious injury.
Do not sand plaster surfaces, (WARNING: In this case your guarantee
becomes void) this may clog the motor (brushes, ball bearings, ...).
10.1 Sanding
▪ Hold the sander in front and away from you, keeping it clear of the work piece.
▪ Start the sander
▪ Let the motor build up to speed then gradually lower it on to the work with a slight forward
movement .
▪ Move the sander slowly over the work piece using forward and back or side to side
strokes.
▪ Upon completion of the sanding operation remove the sander from the work piece before
turning it off.
10.2 Switching On-off (Fig. 4)
Connect the battery pack (6) to the power tool by pushing the release button (7). The tool is
switched “On” by the ON/OFF switch (2) located on the front of the tool housing.
▪ Switch on: push the ON/OFF switch button (2) to the “I” position.
▪ Switch off: push the ON/OFF switch button (2) to the “O” position.
10.3 Attaching the sandpaper (Fig. 5)
▪ Select sandpaper with the correct grain size. Make sure the perforations in the paper
coincide with those on the sanding base (5).
▪ The sandpaper should rest flush on the sanding pad (3) and must not come loose.
▪ You can be sure to find the right sandpaper among our product range (see technical
specifications).
10.4 Using the dust bag (Fig. 6)
Insert the dust bag (4) into dust extraction port, make sure the dust bag is tightly fastened.
10.5 To instal:
▪ Fit the dust bag (4) to the palm sander.
▪ Turn on the sander using the ON/OFF switch button (2).
▪ Run the sander for a few seconds before contacting the workpiece.
▪ Apply the sanding paper to the appliance. It is rarely necessary to press the sanding pad
(3) hard against the surface to be worked.
▪ Avoid blocking the vent holes, as this may cause the palm sander to overheat.
▪ Switch the palm sander off using the ON/OFF switch button (2).
▪ Allow the tool to come to a complete stop before setting it down.
