Why does the bab y
monitor no t r espond
normally?
T ry the follo wing (in the order listed) f or common cure:
1. Disconnect the power to the baby unit and the parent unit.
2. Remove the batteries in the parent unit. Then, install the batteries again.
3. Wait a few minutes before connecting power back to the ba by unit and the parent unit.
4. Turn on the baby unit and the parent unit.
5. Wait for the parent unit to synchronize with the baby unit. Allow up to one minute for
this to take place.
Why doesn’t the screen
of the parent unit go on
when I switch on the unit?
Perhaps the rechar geable battery of the par ent unit is emp ty and the parent unit is not
connected t o the power . Insert the appliance plug into the par ent unit and put the
adaptor in a w all socket .
Why doesn’t the power
light of the bab y unit go on
when I switch on the unit?
Perhaps the baby unit is no t connected to the pow er . Connect the baby unit t o the
power .
Why does the bab y
monitor pr oduce a
high-pitched noise?
The units may be too close to each other . Mak e sure the parent unit and the bab y unit
are mor e than 2 metr es away fr om each other .
Why does the par ent unit
react t oo quickly to other
sounds?
The baby unit also det ects other sounds than those of your baby . A djust the V OX
sensitivity le vel t o a lower lev el or adjust the speaker volume on the parent unit.
Why don’t I hear a sound/
Why can’t I hear m y bab y
cry?
The v olume of the paren t unit may hav e set too low . Pr ess to increase the volume lev el.
Y ou may have set a low VO X sensitivity lev el. See Adj ust t he s oun d sen si tiv it y of th e baby
unit to change the setting.
Why does the par ent unit
beep?
If the sound alert featur e is on, ther e is sound detect ed from the bab y unit.
The baby unit may be out o f r ange. Mov e the par ent unit closer t o the baby unit (but not
less than 2 metr es).
If the parent unit is power ed by the pr ovided ba ttery , it ma y no t hav e enough charge f or
the parent unit to perf orm normally . Char ge the battery in the par ent unit for up to 11 hours.
Why can’t I est ablish a

The baby unit may be out o f r ange. Mov e the par ent unit closer t o the baby unit (but not

Other electr onic products ma y cause in terfer ence with your baby monitor . T ry installing
your baby monitor as far away fr om these electronic de vices as possible.

When y ou are no t going t o use the bab y monit or f or some time, remo ve the rechar geable battery fr om the
parent unit. St ore the parent unit, the bab y unit and the adap tors in a cool and dry place.
St orage
To keep this product working well and looking good, follow these guidelines:
• Avoid placing it near heating applianc es and devices that genera te electrical noise (f or e xample, motors
or fluor escent lamps).
• DO NOT e xpose it t o direct sunlight or moisture.
• Avoid dr opping the pr oduct or tr eating it r oughly .
• Clean with a soft damp cloth.
• DO NOT immerse the parent unit and the bab y unit in water and do not clean them under running wa ter .
• DO NOT use cleaning spr ay or liquid cleaners.
• Make sure the baby unit and par ent unit are dry bef ore you c onnect them to the mains again.

the detected tempera ture is out of range.

Y ou can turn on the extended E C O mode so that the radiation emitt ed will be lo wer ed to

Y ou can broadcast messages fr om a paren t unit to the bab y unit and the other paren t unit.
• Press and hold T ALK on the side of the parent unit. The screen displays when the
voice connection to the baby unit is made. Speak towards the MIC on the parent unit.
Your voice is broadcast to the baby unit.
