If a minor problem occurs, it can usually be solved quite easily by using the checklist below.
PROBLEM: Wet/Dry vac won’t run
Cause: Not firmly plugged in
Solution: Plug unit in firmly.
Cause: No voltage in wall plug
Solution: Check fuse or circuit breaker.
Cause: Blown fuse/tripped circuit breaker
Solution: Replace fuse/reset circuit breaker.
PROBLEM: loss of suction or air flow
Cause: Obstruction in hose wand or tool
Solution: Clear obstruction.
Cause: Clogged cartridge or foam filter
Solution: Clean filter as described in ‘Maintenance’.
Cause: Hose/split in hose
Solution: Inspect and replace hose.
Cause: Automatic shut-off engaged
Solution: See ‘Automatic wet shut-off’ section
