Trouble Shooting
1. Device Manager shows UMAX AstraPix PC230 error.
► Possible installation step error, please remove the error
device from Device Manager. Restart computer and reinstall
driver, reboot system, and plug-in camera to let the system
detect camera again.
2. Video stopped or went dark?
► Check if USB connection is firmly inserted, or other USB
device is sharing power from USB hub. Please close current
video application, re-plug-in the camera. If problem persists,
please restart computer and try again.
3. Why my messenger speed is slower then recording?
Internet messenger traffic is direct through central server; the
speed is limited by bandwidth reason. On the other hand, local
recording uses maximum web cam speed.
4. I use Windows 2000 or earlier version, after installing the
driver; the camera is not working properly?
► Please update DirectX to newest version from Microsoft
website. After update finished, restart computer and try again.
