the measuring plates with
four screws (Fig. A: 3 - not in-
cluded in scope of supply; the
type and length of the screws
are to be selected to suit the
condition of the base).
Place the gas cylinder in po-
sition, and secure it again in
the specified manner.
Note: To avoid faulty measu-
rements, the mount must be
positioned horizontally in the
vehicle.
If a horizontal securing strap
is not going to be used any
longer, a vertical tensioning
strap must be fitted beneath
the mount (available from
specialist dealers - see
Fig. A - left-hand gas cylin-
der).
Laying the measure-
ment cable

surement cable (4) to the
planned location for the ope-
rating unit. In order to avoid
damage, the measurement
cable can be laid in a protec-
tive tube (internal diameter
15 mm) in the area of the cy-
linder mounting.
To feed the measurement
cable into the interior, either
drill a hole with diameter
15 mm or use existing drill-
holes.
Next, lay the measurement
cable free of any kinks or
folds as far as the operating
unit of the Sonatic L.
Fitting the
operating unit

led directly next to the Sona-
tic L operating unit. The
connection cable (length
18 cm) must not be shorte-
ned, lengthened, or folded.
Cut out the installation tem-
plate (page 11), and secure it
with adhesive tape next to
the Sonatic L operating unit.
Mark and cut out an installa-
tion aperture 40 x 20 mm.
Guide the measurement
cable from the second gas
cylinder from the inside
through the wall and plug it
onto the contact „B“ of the
operating unit, as shown in
the connection diagram (Fi-
gure C).
The 18 cm connection cable
provided is plugged into the
„Sonatic“ contact, and then
laid to the rear through the
drillhole (6).
The Sonatic L operating unit
is unscrewed, the measure-
ment cable drawn off, and
then likewise plugged from
the rear into the contact „A“
of the Sonatic Duo operating
unit. Plug the connection
cable to the Sonatic L opera-
ting unit.
Secure both operating units
with two recessed head
screws.
Secure all cables with clips!
For „flush-fitted“ installation
of the operating section,
Truma can provide an opera-
ting section frame as a speci-
al accessory (Art. No. 39980-
01).
