AUTOMATIC ELECTRICAL FOODSTEAMER
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT:
Read these instructions carefully before using the steamer for the first time.
Before connecting the steamer, check if the voltage indicated on the steamer corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not case,
Don’t use it. Connect the steamer to an earthed wall socket only.
The steamer is protected against damage by means of a safety cutout when the heating element gets too hot.
If the appliance runs fry while operating, first remove the mains plug from the wall socket. Then pour in appropriate cold water to cool down the heating
element. The safety cutout will automatically reset.
In order to protect inside element from corrosion. Do not immerse the appliance in water to cleaning or filling.
Place the steamer on a stable flat surface. Ensure that the steamer can not fall into water.
Close attention is necessary when the steamer is used by or near children.
The steamer may be cleaned with a damp cloth. First remove the main plug from the wall socket.
Pour away the very first water boiled with this steamer. The appliance is then ready for use.
Do not forget to cover the lid while operating.
The steamer will switch off automatically when the water is boiling. You also can switch the steamer off before boiling manually using the ON/OFF
switch.
First fill the steamer, Then plug in.
FILLING:
Open the lid and fill the steamer.
Do not fill with less then the “MIN”, not exceed 1,2 litres water (the “MAX”)
Do not forget to close lid firmly after filling.
SWITCHING ON
Connect the main plug to wall socket.
Whirl the timer equipment to choose the time of operation. The pilot light will bright and the appliance starts to operate.
PLS NOTE: TURN CLOCKWISE TO 60’ AND TURN COUNTER-CLOCKWISE TO THE NUMBER OF MINUTES REQUIRED, THEN THE TIMER CAN
RUN SMOOTHLY.
SWITCHING OFF:
The steamer will cut off the power automatically when the time set is reached. And the pilot light immediately goes out. The ON/OFF switch
will return the former position. You can also cut off the power manually.
CLEANING:
First read the instruction in section :IMPORTANT”
Soap or detergent can be used to remove troublesome stains. Avoid using strong acid and aggressive cleaning the steamer.
DESCALING:
Descaling the steamer regularly with normal use: at least twice a year.
Boil MAX 0.5 Liter of ordinary vinegar.
Switch off (or wait for the appliance to switch off automatically)
Let the vinegar remain inside the steamer overnight.
Throw the vinegar away the next morning.
Fill the steamer with clean water up to “MAX” and boil again.
Remove any remaining scale and vinegar, and rinse the inside of the steamer with clean water.
