If you are using the appliance for the first time, please read the Instructions for use carefully
and keep them for future reference.
The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any malfunction of the appliance, nor for any
damages to persons or whatsoever arising from incorrect usage.
To avoid any risks of fire, electric shock or any other damages :
- Use the appliance indoors ONLY !
- This is a domestic appliance, not a toy ! Keep away from children, especially when in
use !
- DO NOT use any sharp or metal objects on the 2-sided non-stick grilling and frying plate.
Always use a wooden or a plastic spatula for stirring or turning the chestnuts, meats, fish,
etc.
- NO coal or any other fuel needed for this appliance !
- When using the appliance for the first time it may let out a specific and harmless smell of
an electric appliance, which will disappear in a few minutes. Wipe the roasting plate with
a damp cloth before you use the appliance for the first time.
- DO NOT use the appliance if the power cord or the plug is damaged.
- DO NOT pull the power cord in order to disconnect the appliance from the electric
circuits, use the plug. NEVER carry the appliance by the power cord !
- Once the appliance is switched on DO NOT touch the metal parts since they get hot.
- CAUTION : The temperature of all accessible surfaces on the unit will be high while in
operation.
- NEVER add water to the upper roasting plate or 2-sided non-stick grilling and frying
plate.
- Always keep the cable away from the hot meatal parts.
- DO NOT touch the appliance/the plug with wet hands !
Always use the appliance with the voltage recommended in the specifications !
Ohterwise this may lead to mechanical failure or injury of the user !
- Switch off tha appliance when not in use.
- NEVER immerse the appliance in water !
Should the power cord be damaged it must be replaced by an anthorized person or a
certified service station.
