Always disconnect the power plug from the socket outlet before cleaning
the electric blanket.
Before washing, unplug it from the mains outlet and let it cool down.
Unplug the control switch unit from the heating blanket using the connector
on the underside.
Please note that the electric blanket may not be dry cleaned, wrung out,
dried by machine, pressed or ironed.
The blanket may be washed by hand according to the instructions on the
label. Never immerse the control switch unit in water as moisture must not
be allowed to get into unit.
In case of heavier soiling, this electric blanket can be washed in a washing
machine.
Set the washing machine to a particularly gentle, 30 C cycle (woollens
programme). Use a wool laundry detergent and follow the manufacturer’s
instructions.
To dry, lay the electric blanket flat on a moisture-absorbent towel or mat.
When the electric blanket is completely dry, it should be reconnected to the
control switch unit in correct manner. The electric blanket may only be
operated with its special control unit.
When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Store the
electric blanket in a clean and dry place. When storing, do not place any
objects on the electric blanket to prevent buckling.
