6.4. Surveillance operation including motion detection
Connect the supplied AV cable to the TV-Out socket at the rear of the came-
ra. The yellow connector is plugged into the Video input socket (yellow) on
the TV and the white connector into the Audio input (white). Depending on
the respective TV standard, the output signal should be set to PAL or NTSC in
the systems settings.
Switch on the camera. Switch to video recording with motion detection by
briefl y pressing the On/Off button
. The yellow and blue LED indicators
light up.
The video appears on the TV after several seconds. As soon as an object
moves in front of the camera the camera records a video fi le for 10 seconds,
1 minute, 5 minutes or 10 minutes (depending on the systems settings).
The camera switches to photo mode with motion detection by briefl y
pressing the On/Off button again; the yellow and red indicators light up
at the same time. As soon as an object moves in front of the camera a photo
is taken automatically.
During loop recording with motion detection all earlier videos or photos are
individually deleted in order to create storage space for new video recor-
dings or photos. If the loop function is switched off , the camera is switched
off automatically if not enough memory is available to store the photo.
The length of video recordings and the activation of the loop recording
function can be changed in the system settings.
