1 Introduction
Thanks for purchasing the Babytalker 2000. This Babyphone with digital communication
ensures that you can hear your baby clearly without any distracting noise or interference.
2 Safety Instructions
WARNING:
• This baby monitor is compliant to all relevant st
andards regarding electromagnetic fields
and is, when handled as described in the user guide, safe to use. Therefore, always
read the user guide instructions carefully before using the device.
• Adult assembly required. Keep small parts away from children when assembling.
• This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
• This baby monitor is not a substitute for responsible adult supervision.
• Keep this User's Manual for future reference.
• Do not place the baby unit or cables in the crib or within the arm re
ach of the baby (at
least 1 meter away).
• Secure the cords away from babies reach.
• Do not cover the baby monitor with a towel or blanket.
• Never use extension cords with the enclosed AC adapters.
• Test the monitor before use. Get familia
r with the functionallity.
• Do not use the monitor near water.
• Do not install the monitor on heat sources.
• Only use the chargers and power adapters supp
lied. Do not use other chargers or
power adapters, as this may damage the device and battery cells.
• Only insert batteries of the same type. Never use ordinary, non-rechargeable batteries,
in the parent unit. Insert batteries so they connect to the right poles (indicated in the
battery compartment).

4 Getting started
4.1 Baby unit battery Installation
The baby unit can be used either with 3 AA - Size batteries (alkaline batteries recommended)
or the household AC current. The Baby unit has no charging function!
It is recommended to add the batteries. It will automatic
backup when there is a main power
interruption.

1. Turn the screw 90° of the battery cover (20) on the backside of the baby unit in a counter
clockwise direction using a screw driver. Remove the battery cover (21). Do not try to
rotate the screw further than the position ‘open’.
2. Install 3 AA alkaline batteries following the polarity as shown.
3. Close the battery compartiment.
4. Press the On/Off button (14). Th
e power (16) LED will illuminate.
5. Press and hold the On/Off button (14) to switch off the baby unit.
Do not mix old batteries with new ones.
Keep batteries away from small children
Do not short-circuit & dispose of in fire.
Remove the batteries if this device is not going to be used for a long period.

4.2 Baby unit power supply
1. Connect the small plug of the AC adaptor to the power connector of the baby unit and
the other end of the adapter cable to the electric socket (230V/50Hz).
Only use the enclosed adapter (6V DC / 500mA).
2. Press the On/Off button (14). Th
e power (16) LED will illuminate.
3. Press and hold the On/Off button (14) to switch off the baby unit.

Parent unit battery Installation
1. Turn the belt clip facing upwards.
2. Turn the screw 90° of the battery cover (11) on the backside of
the
parent unit in a counter clockwise direction using a screw
driver. Remove the battery cover (12). Do not try to rotate the
screw further than the position ‘open’.
3. Install the enclosed 2 AAA rechargeable batteries following
the
polarity as shown.
Do not install alkaline batteries!
4. Close the battery compartiment.
5. Press the On/Off button (2). The power LED (7) will illuminate.
6. Press and hold the On/Off button (2) to switch off the parent unit.
4.4 Parent unit power supply
1. Connect the power adapter cable to the main
power socket (230V/50Hz).
Only use the enclosed adapter
(7V DC / 420mA).
2. Slide the Parent Unit into the charger. The red
ch
arging light illuminates.
3. It takes about 13 hours to charge the unit.
4. Press the On/Off button (2). The power LED (7)
w
ill illuminate.
5. Press and hold the On/Off button (2) to switch off the patent unit.
When the battery level is low, the power LED (7) will blink.

4.5 Link
Do not place the baby unit or cables in the crib or within the arm reach of the baby
(at least 1 meter away).
When using the Babytalker the first time, it is adviced to test the connection.
• Install the parent unit in the same room as the baby unit, but have at least 1 meter
between the 2 units.
• When both units are switched on, the parent unit will search for the baby unit.
• The green link LED on Parent Units will flash until they communicate. Once the link is
established, the LED will light continously.
• The voice captured by the microphone will be audible on the parent unit.
• The level of the detected speech is represented by the LED’s on top of the parent unit.
• When the speech reached the maximum level, a beep will be audible.
• When the connection is established, move the parent unit to the monitor room, but within
the operation range.
• When there is no connection, an alert signal (double beep) will be audible (out of range
warning) and the green connection LED will blink.
• Move the parent unit closer until the link is re-established.
5 Using the Babytalker 2000
5.1 Volume adjustment
There are 5 volume levels on the parent unit.
• Press the volume up button to increase the volume level.
• Press the volume down button to decrease the volume level.
5.2 Night Light
• Press the Night Light button on the baby unit. The night light (17) will illuminate.
• Press the Night Light button again to switch the light off.
5.3 Sound alert
The babies voice detection level is indicated by the number of volume indicator LED’s (1) on
top of the display.
Only when the volume of the parent unit is set to ‘Off’, a beep can inform you when the voice
level reached the red led zone.
5.4 Paging
When your parent unit is lost, you can track it by pressing the paging button on the baby unit
for 2 seconds.
The parent unit will emit a high beep tone for 30 seconds which helps you to find it very
easiliy.
Press the on/off button briefly to stop the beep.

6 Registration
When the baby unit night lights are flashing and/or no communication can be established
between the baby- and parent unit (the green link LED on the parent unit will flash), the parent
unit needs to be registrated to the baby unit.
6.1 Registration
• When baby unit is in power off state, press and hold the On/Off button on the baby unit,
while connecting the power adaptor.
• The baby unit will power on and enter registration mode.
• Release the On/Off button. Under baby unit
registration mode, the night light will flash
for 60 seconds.
• During registration mode, press and hold the On/Off button on the parent unit while
inserting charged batteries.
• The parent unit will power on and 3 red volume indicator LED’s will flash.
• If the registration is success, the baby unit night light will stop flashing and exit
re
gistration mode.
• The 3 red volume indicator LED’s on the parent unit will go out and exit registration
mo
de with confirmation tone (1 long beep).
• If the registration is unsuccesful or the registration
mode time is elapsed, the baby unit
night light will stop flashing and exit registration mode.
• The 3 red volume indicator LED’s on the parent unit indication will go out and exit
re
gistration mode with an error tone (3 short beeps).
• Retry the procedure.
To verify the linkage between pa
rent unit and baby unit:
• Pressing the paging button on the baby unit for 2 seconds.
• The parent unit will emit a high beep tone for 30 seconds.
• Press any button on the parent
unit briefly to stop the beep.
7 Disposal of the device (environment)
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the normal
household garbage but bring the product to a collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipments. The symbol on the product, user guide and/or
box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be
re-used if you bring them to a recycling point. By re-
using some parts or raw materials from used products you make an important contribution to
the protection of the environment.

points in your area.
8 Cleaning
Clean the babytalker with a slightly damp cloth or with an anti-static cloth. Never use cleaning
agents or abrasive solvents.
This product is in compliance with the essential requirements and other
relevant provisions of the the R&TTE directive.

10 Topcom warranty
10.1 Warranty period
The Topcom units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day
the new unit is purchased. The warranty on batteries is limited to 6 months after purchase.
Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on operation or value of the equipment
are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation o
f the original purchase receipt, on which the
date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
10.2 Warranty handling
A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Topcom service centre including a valid purchase note.
If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Topcom or its officially appointed
service centre will repair any defects caused by material or manufacturing faults free of
charge. Topcom will at its discretion fulfil its warranty obligations by either repairing or
exchanging the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, colour and
model can be different from the original purchased unit. The initial purchase date shall
determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty period is not extended if the unit is
exchanged or repaired by Topcom or its appointed service centres.
10.3 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting from
use of non-original parts or accessories not recommended by Topcom are not covered by
the warranty.
Topcom cordless phones are designed to work with rechargeable batteries only. The
da
mage caused by the use of non-rechargeable batteries is not covered under warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by o
utside factors, such as lightning, water and
fire, nor any damage caused during transportation. No warranty can be claimed if the serial
number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered illegible.
Any warranty claims will be invalid if the unit h
as been repaired, altered or modified by the
buyer or by unqualified, non-officially appointed Topcom service centres.

1 Inleiding
Wij bedanken u voor de aankoop van de Babytalker 2000. Met deze babyfoon met digitale
communicatie zult u uw baby duidelijk kunnen horen zonder storende geluiden of
interferenties.
2 Veiligheidsvoorschriften
WAARSCHUWING:
• Deze babymonitor voldoet aan alle normen inza
ke elektromagnetische velden en is
volledig veilig wanneer hij wordt gebruikt zoals beschreven in deze handleiding. Lees
daarom de gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig voor u het toestel gebruikt.
• Moet worden gemonteerd door een volwassene. Houd de kleine onderdelen buiten het
b
ereik van kinderen tijdens het monteren.
• Dit product is geen speelgoed. Laat ki
nderen niet met het toestel spelen.
• Deze babymonitor is geen vervanging voor toezicht door een volwassene.
• Bewaar deze handleiding voor later gebruik.
• Plaats de zender of kabels niet in de wieg of binnen handbereik van de baby (minstens
1 meter
ver).
• Maak de snoeren vast buiten het bereik van de baby.
• Dek de babymonitor niet af met een handdoek of deken.
• Sluit nooit een verlengsnoer aan o

• Test de monitor voor gebruik. Maak u vertrouwd met zijn functies.
• Gebruik de monitor niet in de buurt van water.
• Plaats de monitor niet op warmtebronnen.
• Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde opladers en stroomada
pters. Bij gebruik van andere
opladers of adapters kunnen het toestel en de batterijcellen beschadigd raken.
• Gebruik enkel batterijen van hetzelfde type
. Gebruik nooit gewone, niet-oplaadbare
batterijen in de ontvanger. Let bij het plaatsen van de batterijen op de polariteit
(aangeduid in het batterijvak).
• Raak de contactpunten van de oplader of de stekk
er niet aan met scherpe of metalen

4 Beginnen
4.1 Batterijen in de zender plaatsen
De zender kan worden gebruikt met 3 AA-batterijen (bij voorkeur alkalinebatterijen) of met
netstroom. De zender heeft geen oplaadfunctie!
Het is aangeraden om de batterijen steeds in het toestel te plaatsen. Zij nemen de
voedingsfunctie automatisch over als de netstroom uitvalt.

1. Draai de schroef van het batterijdeksel (20) aan de achterkant van de zender 90° naar
links met een schroevendraaier. Neem het deksel van het batterijvak (21). Probeer de
schroef niet voorbij de 'OPEN'-stand te draaien.
2. Plaats 3 AA-alkalinebatterijen in het batte
rijvak volgens de getoonde polariteit.
3. Sluit het batterijvak.

Gebruik geen oude en nieuwe batterijen door elkaar.
Houd de batterijen steeds uit de buurt van kleine kinderen.
Sluit de batterijen niet kort en gooi ze nooit in het vuur.
Verwijder de batterijen als u het toestel la
ngere tijd niet gebruikt.
4.2 Zender aansluiten op het stroomnet
1. Steek de kleine stekker van de stroomadapter in de netaansluiting van de zender, en de
grote stekker aan het andere uiteinde van de kabel in het stopcontact (230 V/50 Hz).
Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde adapter (6 VDC/500 mA).
2. Druk op de aan/uit-toets (14). Het aan/uit-lampje (16) begint te branden.
3. Houd de aan/uit-toets (14) enkele seconden
ingedrukt om het toestel uit te schakelen.

1. Draai de riemclip naar boven.
2. Draai de schroef van het batterij
deksel (11) aan de achterkant
van de ontvanger 90° naar links met een schroevendraaier.
Neem het deksel van het batterijvak (12). Probeer de schroef
niet voorbij de 'OPEN'-stand te draaien.
3. Plaats 2 oplaadbare AAA-batterijen in het batterijvak volgens de

4.4 Ontvanger aansluiten op het
stroomnet
1. Steek de stekker van de adapterkabel in het
stopcontact (230 V/50 Hz).
Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde adapter
(7 VDC/420mA).
2. Schuif de ontvanger in de oplader. Het rode
l
aadlampje begint te branden.
3. Het duurt ongeveer 13 uur voordat de batterijen
o
pgeladen zijn.
4. Druk op de aan/uit-toets (2). Het aan/uit-lampje (7) begint te branden.
5. Houd de aan/uit-toets (2) enkele seconden ingedrukt om het toestel uit te schakelen.
Bij een laag batterijniveau knippert de aan/uit-LED (7).
4.5 Verbinding
Plaats de zender of kabels niet in de wieg of binnen handbereik van de baby (minstens
1 meter ver).
Als u de Babytalker voor het eerst gebruikt, is het aang
eraden dat u de verbinding test.
• Plaats de ontvanger in dezelfde kamer als de zender, maar op ten minste 1 meter van
elkaar.
• Als beide eenheden ingeschakeld zijn, begint de ontvanger de zender te zoeken.
• Het groene verbindingslampje op de ontvanger knip
pert tot er communicatie is. Zodra
de verbinding tot stand is gekomen, brandt het lampje continu.
• De door de microfoon opgevangen stem kan nu wo
rden gehoord op de ontvanger.
• Het niveau van de opgevangen klank wordt weergegeven door de LED's boven op de
ontvanger.
• Als de klank het maximumniveau berei
kt heeft, weerklinkt een pieptoon.
• Wanneer de verbinding tot stand is gekomen, verplaatst u de ontvanger naar een
a
ndere kamer, maar binnen het ontvangstbereik.
• Als er geen verbinding meer is, weerklinkt een dubbele pieptoon (alarmsignaal 'Buiten
bereik') en knippert het groene verbindingslampje.
• Plaats de ontvanger dichter tot de verbinding is hersteld.
5 De Babytalker 2000 gebruiken
5.1 Volumeregeling
Er zijn 5 volumeniveaus op de ontvanger.
• Druk op de toets 'Volume omhoog' om het volumeniveau te verhogen.
• Druk op de toets 'Volume omlaag' om het volumeniveau te verlagen.
5.2 Nachtlamp
• Druk op de nachtlamptoets op de zender. De nachtlamp (17) begint te branden.
• Druk opnieuw op de nachtlamptoets om de lamp uit te schakelen.

5.3 Geluidsalarm
Het volumeniveau van de stemdetectie is aangegeven door het aantal oplichtende
volumelampjes (1) bovenaan de display.
Alleen wanneer het volume van de ontvanger op ‘Uit’ staat, meldt een pieptoon wanneer het
stemniveau in de rode LED-zone komt.
5.4 Oproepen
Als u uw ontvanger kwijt bent, kunt u hem oproepen door de oproeptoets op de zender
2
seconden in te drukken.
De ontvanger laat dan gedurende 30 seconden een hoge pieptoon horen, zodat u hem heel
gemakkelijk kunt terugvinden. Druk de aan/uit-toets even in om de pieptoon uit te zetten.
6 Aanmelden
Wanneer de nachtlampen op de zender knipperen en/of wanneer er geen verbinding kan
worden gemaakt tussen de zender en ontvanger (het groene verbindingslampje op de
ontvanger knippert) moet de ontvanger op de zender worden aangemeld.
6.1 Aanmelden
• Als de zender uitgeschakeld is, houdt u de aan/uit-toets van de zender ingedrukt terwijl
u de stroomadapter aansluit.
• De zender wordt ingeschakeld in de aanmeldmodus.
• Laat de aan/uit-toets los. Het nachtlampje van de zender knippert gedurende 60
seconden in de aanmeldmodus.
• Tijdens de aanmeldmodus houdt u de aan/uit-toets van de ontvanger ingedrukt terwijl u
de opgeladen batterijen plaatst.
• De ontvanger wordt ingeschakeld en de 3 rode volumelampjes knipperen.
• Als het aanmelden gelukt is, stopt het nachtlampje van de zender met knipperen en
wordt de aanmeldmodus afgesloten.
• De 3 rode volumelampjes op de ontvanger worden uitgeschakeld en de aanmeldmodus
wordt afgesloten met een bevestigingstoon (1 lange pieptoon).
• Als het aanmelden niet gelukt is of de duur van de aanmeldmodus verstreken is, stopt
het nachtlampje van de zender met knipperen en wordt de aanmeldmodus afgesloten.
• De 3 rode volumelampjes op de ontvanger worden uitgeschakeld en de aanmeldmodus
wordt afgesloten met een foutmeldingstoon (3 korte pieptonen).
• Herhaal de procedure.
Om de verbinding tussen de ontvanger en zender te controleren:
• Houd de Paging-toets op de zender 2 seconden ingedrukt.
• De ontvanger geeft gedurende 30 seconden een hoge pieptoon.
• Druk kort op om het even welke toets op de ontvanger om de pieptoon af te zetten.

10 Topcom-garantie
10.1 Garantietermijn
De Topcom-toestellen hebben een garantietermijn van 24 maanden. De garantietermijn gaat
in op de dag waarop het nieuwe toestel wordt aangeschaft. De garantie op de batterijen is
beperkt tot 6 maanden na aankoop. Verbruiksartikelen en defecten die een verwaarloosbaar
effect hebben op de werking of waarde van het toestel worden niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden bewezen door het voorleggen van de originele aankoopbon
waarop de aankoopdatum en het toestelmodel staan aangegeven.
10.2 Afwikkeling van garantieclaims
Een defect toestel moet worden geretourneerd aan het servicecentrum van Topcom, samen
met een geldige aankoopbon.
Als het toestel defect raakt tijdens de garantietermijn, zal Topcom of een van haar officieel
aangewezen servicecentra defecten ingevolge materiaal- of fabricagefouten kosteloos
repareren.
Topcom zal naar eigen inzicht voldoen aan haar garantieverplichtingen door defecte
toestellen, of onderdelen ervan, te repareren of te vervangen. In het geval van vervanging
kunnen de kleur en het model verschillend zijn van het oorspronkelijk aangeschafte toestel.
De oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum bepaalt wanneer de garantietermijn ingaat. De
garantietermijn wordt niet verlengd als het toestel wordt vervangen of gerepareerd door
Topcom of een van haar aangewezen servicecentra.
10.3 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten als gevolg van een onjuiste behandeling of onjuist gebruik en schade als
gevolg van het gebruik van niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires die niet worden
aanbevolen door Topcom, vallen buiten de garantie.
De draadloze telefoons van Topcom zijn alleen geschikt voor gebruik met oplaadbare
batterijen. De schade door het gebruik van niet-oplaadbare batterijen valt buiten de garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en brand,
noch enige tijdens het transport veroorzaakte schade.
Er kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt op garantie als het serienummer op het toestel is
veranderd, verwijderd of onleesbaar gemaakt.
Alle garantieclaims zullen ongeldig worden als het toestel wordt gerepareerd, veranderd of
aangepast door de koper of door onbevoegde, niet officieel door Topcom erkende
onderhoudscentra.

1 Introduction

2 Instructions de sécurité

4.2 Alimentation de l'unité Bébé
1. Raccordez la petite fiche de l'adaptateur secteur au connecteur d'alimentation de l'unité
Bébé et l'autre extrémité du câble de l'adaptateur à la prise électrique (230 V/50 Hz).
Utilisez uniquement l'adaptateur fourni (6 V CC / 500 mA).
2. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (14). Le voyant d'alimentation (16) s'allume.
3. Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton march
e/arrêt (14) pendant quelques secondes
pour éteindre l'unité Bébé.
4.3
Installation de la batterie de l'unité Parent
1. Tournez le clip de ceinture vers le haut.
2. Tournez la vis à 90° sur le couvercle du compartiment à piles
(11) situé à l'arrière de l'unité Parent, dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d'une montre à l'aide d'un tournevis. Retirez le
couvercle du compartiment à piles (12). N'essayez pas de faire
tourner la vis plus loin que la position « open ».
3. Installez les 2 piles AAA rechargeables fournies en respectant la
p
olarité illustrée.
N'installez pas de piles alcalines !
4. Refermez le compartiment à piles.
5. Appuyez sur le bouton marche/arrêt (2). Le voyant d'alimentation

4.4 Alimentation de l'unité Parent

2. Glissez l'unité Parent dans le chargeur. Le

3. Il faut environ 13 heures pour recharger l'unité.

4.5 Liaison
Ne placez pas l'unité Bébé ou les câbles dans le lit ni à portée de main du bébé (au
moins à un mètre).
Lorsque vous utilisez le Babytalker pour la première
fois, nous vous conseillons de tester la
connexion.
• Installez l'unité Parent dans la même pièce
que l'unité Bébé, mais avec une distance
d'au moins 1 mètre entre les 2 unités.
• Lorsque les deux unités sont allumées,
l'unité Parent recherche l'unité Bébé.
• Le voyant de liaison vert sur l'unité Parent clignote jusqu'à ce qu'elles communiquent.
Une fois la liaison établie, le voyant ne clignote plus et reste allumé.
• La voix capturée par le micro est audible sur l'unité Parent.
• Le niveau du discours détecté est représenté par les voyant sur le dessus de l'unité
Pa
rent.
• Lorsque le discours atteint le niveau maximum, un bip est émis.
• Lorsque la connexion est établie, déplacez l'unité Pa
rent dans la pièce à surveiller, mais
à portée de fonctionnement.
• Lorsqu'il n'y a pas de connexion, un signal d'alerte (deux bips) est émis (avertissement
h
ors de portée) et le voyant de connexion vert clignote.
• Rapprochez l'unité Parent jusqu'à ce que la liaison soit à nouveau établie.
5 Utilisation du Babytalker 2000
5.1 Réglage du volume
Il existe 5 niveaux de volume sur l'unité Parent.
• Appuyez sur la touche d'augmentation du volume pour augmenter le niveau du volume.
• Appuyez sur la touche de diminution du volume pour baisser le niveau du volume.
5.2 Veilleuse
• Appuyez sur la touche veilleuse sur l'unité Bébé. La veilleuse (17) s'allume.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche veilleuse pour éteindre la lumière.

5.3 Alerte son
Le niveau de détection vocale du bébé est indiqué par le nombre de voyants indicateurs (1)
situés sur le dessus de l'écran.
Lorsque le volume de l'unité Parent est réglé sur ‘Eteint’, un bip peut vous informer lorsque
le niveau vocal a atteint la zone de voyants rouges.
5.4 Recherche
Lorsque vous avez perdu votre unité Parent, vous pouvez la retrouver en appuyant pendant
2 secondes sur la touche de recherche sur l'unité Bébé.
L'unité Parent émet un bip élevé pendant 30 secondes pour vous permettre de la retrouver
facilement.
Appuyez brièvement sur le bouton marche/arrêt pour arrêter le bip.
6 Enregistrement
Lorsque les veilleuses de l'unité Bébé clignotent et/ou qu'aucune communication ne peut
être établie entre l'unité Bébé et l'unité Parent (le voyant vert de liaison sur l'unité Parent
clignote), l'unité Parent doit être enregistrée sur l'unité Bébé.
6.1 Enregistrement
• Lorsque l'unité Bébé est éteinte, branchez l'adaptateur secteur. Puis, appuyez et
maintenez enfoncé le bouton Marche/Arrêt sur l'unité Bébé.
• L'unité Bébé s'allume et entre en mode d'enregistrement.
• Relâchez le bouton Marche/Arrêt. En mode d'enregistrement sur l'unité Bébé, la
veilleuse clignote pendant 60 secondes.
• En mode d'enregistrement, insérez des piles chargées. Puis, appuyez et maintenez
enfoncé le bouton Marche/Arrêt sur l'unité Parent.
• L'unité Parent s'allume et 3 voyants rouges indicateurs du volume clignotent.
• Si l'enregistrement a réussi, la veilleuse de l'unité Bébé cesse de clignoter et quitte le
mode d'enregistrement.
• Les 3 voyants rouges indicateurs de volume sur l'unité Parent cessent de clignoter et
quittent le mode d'enregistrement avec une tonalité de confirmation (1 long bip).
• Si l'enregistrement échoue ou que la durée du mode d'enregistrement a expiré, la
veilleuse de l'unité Bébé cesse de clignoter et quitte le mode d'enregistrement.
• Les 3 voyants rouges indicateurs de volume sur l'unité Parent cessent de clignoter et
quittent le mode d'enregistrement avec une tonalité d'erreur (3 bips courts).
• Recommencez la procédure.
Pour vérifier la liaison entre l'unité Parent et l'unité Bébé :
• Appuyez sur le bouton de recherche sur l'unité Bébé pendant 2 secondes.
• L'unité Parent émet un bip élevé pendant 30 secondes.
• Appuyez brièvement sur n'importe quel bouton sur l'unité Parent pour arrêter le bip.

entgegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Entfernen Sie die
Batteriefachabdeckung (12). Drehen Sie die Schraube nicht
weiter als zur Position 'open' (offen).
3. Legen Sie die mitgelieferten 2 AAA wiederaufladbaren Batterien

4.5 Verbindung

Wenn Sie den Babytalker zum ersten Mal benutzen, sollten Sie die Verbindung testen.
• Stellen Sie die Elterneinheit in das gleiche Zimmer wie die Babyeinheit, aber mit einem
Ab
stand von mindestens 1 Meter zwischen den beiden Geräten.
• Werden beide Geräte eingeschaltet, sucht die Elterneinheit nach der Babyeinheit.
• Die grüne Verbindungs-LED der Elterneinheit blinkt während des Verbindungsaufbaus.
So
bald die Verbindung hergestellt ist, leuchtet die LED kontinuierlich.
• Die Geräusche, die das Mikrofon aufnimmt, sind in der Elterneinheit zu hören.
• Die Lautstärke der erkannten Geräusche werden mit den LEDs oben an der
El
terneinheit angezeigt.
• Erreicht der Geräuschpegel das maximale Niveau, so ertönt ein Piepton.
• Wurde die Verbindung hergestellt, bringen Sie die Elterneinheit in den Raum, in dem Sie

befindet.

5 Den Babytalker 2000 benutzen
5.1 Lautstärke einstellen
Es gibt 5 Lautstärke-Stufen an der Elterneinheit.
• Drücken Sie die Taste Lautstärke lauter, um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
• Drücken Sie die Taste Lautstärke leiser, um die Lautstärke zu verringern.
5.2 Nachtlicht
• Drücken Sie die Taste Nachtlicht an der Babyeinheit. Das Nachtlicht (17) leuchtet auf.
• Drücken Sie die Taste Nachtlicht erneut, um das Licht auszuschalten.

5.3 Geräusch-Alarm
Die Empfindlichkeit der Geräuscherkennung wird mit einer Anzahl an LEDs (1) oben in der
Anzeige dargestellt.
Nur wenn die Lautstärke der Elterneinheit auf 'Aus' gestellt ist, kann Sie ein Signalton
informieren, wenn der Geräuschpegel den Bereich der roten LEDs erreicht hat.
5.4 Paging
Wenn Sie die Elterneinheit nicht finden, können Sie sie suchen, indem Sie die Paging-Taste
an der Babyeinheit 2 Sekunden lang drücken.
Die Elterneinheit erzeugt 30 Sekunden lang einen hohen Piepton, mit dem Sie das Gerät
leichter finden können. Drücken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste kurz, um den Piepton auszuschalten.
6 Anmelden
Wenn die Nachtlichter an der Babyeinheit blinken und/oder keine Verbindung zwischen der
Baby- und der Elterneinheit hergestellt werden kann (die grüne LED an der Elterneinheit
blinkt), so muss die Elterneinheit bei der Babyeinheit angemeldet werden.
6.1 Anmelden (Registration)
• Schalten Sie die Babyeinheit aus und halten Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste an der Babyeinheit
gedrückt, während Sie den Netzstecker an eine Steckdose anschließen.
• Nun wird die Babyeinheit eingeschaltet und geht in den Anmeldemodus.
• Lassen Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste los. Im Anmeldemodus blinkt das Nachtlicht der
Babyeinheit 60 Sekunden lang.
• Halten Sie im Anmeldemodus die Ein-/Aus-Taste der Elterneinheit gedrückt, während
Sie aufgeladene Batterien einlegen.
• Nun wird auch die Elterneinheit eingeschaltet und die 3 roten Lautstärke-LEDs blinken.
• Nach erfolgreicher Anmeldung hört das Nachtlicht der Babyeinheit auf zu blinken und
der Anmeldemodus wird beendet.
• Die 3 roten Lautstärke-LEDs an der Elterneinheit erlöschen ebenfalls und der
Anmeldemodus wird mit einem Quittierton (1 langer Signalton) verlassen.
• Ist die Anmeldung fehlgeschlagen, so hört das Nachtlicht der Babyeinheit auf zu blinken
und der Anmeldemodus wird beendet.
• Die 3 roten Lautstärke-LEDs an der Elterneinheit erlöschen ebenfalls und der
Anmeldemodus wird mit einem Fehleralarm (3 kurze Signaltöne) verlassen.
• Versuchen Sie die Anmeldung erneut.
Verbindung zwischen Elterneinheit und Babyeinheit prüfen:
• Halten Sie die Paging-Taste an der Babyeinheit 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt.
• Nun gibt die Elterneinheit 30 Sekunden lang einen hohen Signalton ab.
• Drücken Sie kurz eine beliebige Taste auf der Elterneinheit, um den Signalton
auszuschalten.

5.3 Aviso sonoro
El número de LED indicadores de volumen (1) situados en la parte superior de la pantalla
indica el nivel de detección de la voz del bebé.
Solo si el volumen de la unidad de padres está ajustado en «Apagado» le informará un pitido
cuando el nivel de voz haya alcanzado la zona de LED rojo.
5.4 Búsqueda
Si pierde la unidad principal, puede localizarla manteniendo presionado el botón de
búsqueda de la unidad de bebé durante dos segundos.
La unidad principal emitirá un pitido agudo durante 30 segundos, por lo que podrá localizarla
fácilmente.
Pulse el botón de encendido / apagado brevemente para detener el pitido.
6Registro
Cuando las luces nocturnas de la unidad del bebé parpadeen o no pueda establecerse la
comunicación entre la unidad del bebé y la de los padres (parpadeará el LED de conexión
verde en la unidad de los padres), la unidad de los padres debe registrarse en la unidad del
bebé.
6.1 Registro
• Cuando la unidad del bebé esté apagada, mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido /
apagado en la unidad del bebé mientras conecta el adaptador de corriente.
• La unidad del bebé se encenderá y se pondrá en modo de registro.
• Suelte el botón de encendido / apagado. En el modo de registro de la unidad del bebé,
la luz nocturna parpadeará durante 60 segundos.
• En el modo de registro, mantenga pulsado el botón de encendido / apagado mientras
inserta pilas cargadas.
• La unidad de los padres se encenderá y 3 LED indicadores de volumen rojos
parpadearán.
• Si el registro se ha realizado correctamente, la luz nocturna de la unidad del bebé
dejará de parpadear y saldrá del modo de registro.
• Los 3 LED indicadores de volumen rojos de la unidad de los padres se apagarán y

saldrá del modo de registro mientras escucha un tono de error (3 pitidos cortos).
• Repita los pasos anteriores.
Para verificar la conexión entre la unidad de los padres y la unidad del bebé:

7 Eliminación del dispositivo (medio ambiente)
Al final de su vida útil, este producto no debe ser desechado en un contenedor

10 Garantía de Topcom
10.1 Período de garantía
Las unidades de Topcom tienen un período de garantía de 24 meses. El período de garantía
entra en vigor el día en que se adquiere la nueva unidad. La garantía de las baterías está
limitada a 6 meses desde la compra. La garantía no cubre los consumibles ni los defectos
que tengan un efecto insignificante en el funcionamiento o en el valor del equipo.
La garantía debe demostrarse presentando el comprobante original de compra, en el que
constarán la fecha de la compra y el modelo de la unidad.
10.2 Tratamiento de la garantía
La unidad defectuosa deberá devolverse al centro de servicio de Topcom junto con un
comprobante de compra válido.
Si la unidad tiene una avería durante el período de garantía, Topcom o su centro de servicio
oficial repararán sin cargo alguno cualquier avería causada por defectos de material o
fabricación.
Topcom, a su discreción, cumplirá sus obligaciones de garantía reparando o sustituyendo
las unidades defectuosas o las piezas de las unidades defectuosas. En caso de sustitución,
el color y el modelo pueden variar respecto a los de la unidad adquirida inicialmente.
La fecha de compra inicial determinará el comienzo del período de garantía. Este no se
ampliará si Topcom o sus centros de servicio autorizados cambian o reparan la unidad.
10.3 Limitaciones de la garantía
Los daños o defectos causados por tratamiento o manejo incorrectos y los daños resultantes
del uso de piezas o accesorios no originales no recomendados por Topcom no están
cubiertos por la garantía.
Los teléfonos inalámbricos Topcom están diseñados para funcionar solo con baterías
recargables. Los daños provocados por el uso de pilas no recargables no están cubiertos
por la garantía.
La garantía no cubre los daños ocasionados por factores externos tales como relámpagos,
agua o fuego, como tampoco los daños causados durante el transporte.
La garantía no será válida si el número de serie de las unidades se cambia, se elimina o
resulta ilegible.
Cualquier reclamación de la garantía se invalidará si la unidad ha sido reparada, alterada o
modificada por el comprador o algún centro de servicio no cualificado o no designado

4Komma igång
4.1 Installation av batteri för babyenheten
Babyenheten kan användas antingen med 3 AA-batterier (alkaliska batterier
rekommenderas) eller med hushållsström. Babyenheten har ingen laddningsfunktion!
Du rekommenderas att sätta i batterier så att en
heten har automatisk reservström i händelse
av strömavbrott.

90° MAX
1. Skruven för batteriluckan (20) på baksidan av babyenheten vrids 90° motsols med hjälp
av en skruvmejsel. Avlägsna batteriluckan (21). Försök inte vrida skruven förbi läget
’’open’’.
2. Installera 3 alkaliska AA-batterier med polerna placerade som på bilden.
3. Stäng batterifacket.
4. Tryck på strömbrytarknappen (14). Strömlysdioden (16) tänds.
5. Håll strömbrytarknappen (14) intryckt i n
ågra sekunder för att slå av babyenheten.
Blanda inte gamla batterier med nya.
Förvara batterierna utom räckhåll för små barn.
Kortslut inte eller kasta i öppen eld.
Avlägsna batterierna om apparaten inte ska användas under en längre
pe
riod.

Topcom trådlösa telefoner är utformade för att endast fungera med uppladdningsbara
batterier. Garantin omfattar inte skador som uppkommer till följd av att icke
uppladdningsbara batterier används.
Garantin täcker inte skada orsakad av yttre faktorer som blixtnedslag, vatten och eld eller
annan skada orsakad under transport.
Ingen garanti kan krävas om serienumret på apparaten har ändrats, avlägsnats eller gjorts
oläsligt.
Alla garantianspråk blir ogiltiga om enheten har reparerats, ändrats eller modifierats av

2 Instruções de Segurança

• Este monitor do bebé cumpre todas as normas rele
vantes sobre campos
electromagnéticos e é, se manuseado conforme descrito no guia do utilizador, de
utilização segura. Assim, leia sempre as instruções no guia do utilizador antes de usar o
dispositivo.
• A montagem deve ser realizada por um adulto
. Mantenha as peças pequenas afastadas
das crianças.
• Este produto não é um brinquedo. Não deixe qu
e as crianças brinquem com ele.
• Este monitor do bebé não substitui a supervisão por parte de um adulto responsável.

carregadores ou transformadores, pois poderá danificar o dispositivo e as pilhas.
• Coloque apenas pilhas do mesmo tipo. Nunca utili
ze pilhas normais não recarregáveis
na unidade do adulto. Coloque as pilhas ligadas aos pólos correctos (tal como indicado
no compartimento das pilhas).
• Não toque no carregador nem nos contactos da ficha com objectos afiados ou
metálicos.

4 Como começar
4.1 Instalação das pilhas na unidade do bebé
A unidade do bebé pode ser usada com 3 pilhas AA (recomendam-se pilhas alcalinas) ou
ligada a uma tomada de corrente doméstica CA. A unidade do bebé não tem função de
carregamento!
Recomenda-se a colocação de pilhas. Em caso de falha de corrente, funcionarão como
re
serva automática.

90° MAX
1. Com uma chave-de-parafusos, rode em 90° o parafuso na tampa do compartimento das
pilhas (20), na parte de trás da unidade do bebé, contra o sentido dos ponteiros do
relógio . Retire a tampa do compartimento das pilhas (21). Não tente rodar o parafuso
para além da posição ‘open’ (aberto).
2. Coloque 3 pilhas alcalinas AA, respeitando a polaridade tal como indicado.

3. Feche o compartimento das pilhas.
4. Prima o botão On/Off (14). O LED de potência (16) acende.
5. Prima o botão On/Off (14) durante alguns segundos para desligar a unidade do bebé.
Não misture pilhas velhas com novas.
Mantenha as pilhas afastadas de crianças pequenas
Não provoque curtos-circuitos nem elimine queimando.
Retire as pilhas se não pretender utilizar o dispositivo durante um longo
pe
ríodo de tempo.
4.2 Fonte de alimentação da unidade do bebé
1. Ligue a tomada pequena do transformador CA ao conector de corrente da unidade do
bebé e a outra extremidade do cabo do transformador à tomada eléctrica (230V/50Hz).
Use apenas o transformador fornecido (6V CC / 500mA)
2. Prima o botão On/Off (14). O LED de potência (16) acende.
3. Prima o botão On/Off (14) durante alguns segundos para desligar a unidade do bebé.
4.3
Instalação das pilhas na unidade do adulto
1. Retire o clipe do cinto para cima.
2. Com uma chave-de-parafusos, rode em 90° o parafuso na
tampa do compartimento das pilhas (11), na parte de trás da
unidade do adulto, contra o sentido dos ponteiros do relógio .
Retire a tampa do compartimento das pilhas (12). Não tente
rodar o parafuso para além da posição ‘open’ (aberto).
3. Instale as 2 pilhas AAA recarregáveis fornecidas, respeitando a
polar
idade, tal como se mostra.
Não instale pilhas alcalinas!
4. Feche o compartimento das pilhas.
5. Prima o botão On/Off (2). O LED de potência (7) acende.
6. Prima o botão On/Off (2) durante alguns segundos para desligar
a
unidade do adulto.

4.4 Fonte de alimentação da unidade do
adulto
1. Ligue o cabo do transformador à tomada de
corrente eléctrica (230V/50Hz).
Use apenas o transformador fornecido
(7V CC / 420mA)
2. Coloque a Unidade do Adulto no carregador.
Ace
nde-se a luz vermelha que indica que a
unidade se encontra em carregamento.
3. Demora cerca de 13 horas a carregar a unidade.
4. Prima o botão On/Off (2). O LED de potência (7) acende.
5. Prima o botão On/Off (2) durante alguns segundos para desligar a unidade do adulto.
Quando as pilhas estiverem quase gastas, o LED de potência (7) pisca.
4.5 Ligação
Não coloque a unidade do bebé ou os cabos dentro do berço ou ao alcance dos
braços do bebé (pelo menos 1 metro de distância).
Quando usar o Babytalker pela primeira
vez, recomenda-se que teste a ligação.
• Instale a unidade do adulto na mesma sala que a unidade do bebé, mas com pelo
menos 1 metro de distância entre as 2 unidades.
• Quando ambas as unidades estiverem ligadas, a unidade do adulto irá procurar a
u
nidade do bebé.
• O LED verde de ligação na Unidade do Adulto irá piscar até estarem em comunicação.
Assim
que a ligação estiver estabelecida, o LED ficará aceso continuamente.
• A voz capturada pelo microfone será audível na unidade do adulto.
• O nível de voz detectado é representado pelos LEDs na p
arte de cima da unidade do
adulto.
• Quando a voz tiver alcançado o nível máximo, ouve-se um sinal sonoro (bip).
• Quando a ligação estiver estabelecida, mova a unidade do adulto para a sala de
mo
nitorização, mas mantendo o alcance de cobertura.
• Se não houver ligação, soará um sinal de alerta (bip duplo) (aviso de fora de cobertura)
e
o LED verde da ligação ficará a piscar.
• Aproxime a unidade do adulto até a ligação ser restabelecida.
5 Utilizar o Babytalker 2000
5.1 Ajustar o volume
Existem 5 níveis de volume na unidade do adulto.
• Prima o botão Aumentar o volume para aumentar o nível do volume.
• Prima o botão Diminuir o volume para baixar nível do volume.
5.2 Luz de presença
• Prima o botão Luz de presença na unidade do bebé. A luz de presença (17) acende.
• Prima novamente o botão Luz de presença na unidade do bebé, para desligar a luz de
presença.

Bezdrátové telefony Topcom jsou určeny pro provoz pouze s dobíjecími bateriemi.
Poškození způsobená používáním baterií, které nelze dobíjet, nejsou zárukou kryta.
Záruka se nevztahuje na škody způsobené vnějšími faktory, jako je například osvětlení, voda
a požár, ani na jakékoliv škody způsobené během přepravy.
Žádnou záruku nelze uplatňovat tehdy, pokud dojde ke změně výrobního čísla na přístroji,
jeho odstranění nebo pokud toto číslo bude nečitelné.
Veškeré záruční nároky budou neplatné, pokud byla jednotka opravena, změněna nebo
upravena kupcem nebo v nekvalifikovaném, oficiálně neautorizovaném servisním středisku
společnosti Topcom.
