■ The counter counts in real time from the point you load the cassette. This does not have to be its beginning! The
counter does not count unrecorded parts of the tape.
■ If you rewind beyond the zero position, the counter counts in negative values (e.g. – 0:01:15).
Each time you press [DISPLAY] button,
1x: Time and date+current status Time and date
2x: Counter+current status counter
3x: disappear.
Press the [CLK/CNT] button, to change between clock and
counter reading in the display window.
• The tape remaining time (in bottom right corner) doesn't appear until the tape has been
played or fast wound.

Press the SETUP button, select “TAPE CONTROL” and press [OK].
The display function (above) shows the playing or recording time remaining on the cassette
from the current position.
In order to calculate the time remaining, the VCR needs to know what kind of cassette is
loaded. Select E-180 (three hour), E-240 (four hour) or E-300 (five hour) and confirm.
• Remaining time display is only possible when the cassette is loaded.
