• Do not use an extension lead. If you accept

using an external time-switch or a separate
remote control system.

flame or electric hob.
• Do not put water into the appliance when
it is still warm.
• Always close the lid (a) when the coffee
maker is in operation.
• All appliances are subject to rigorous
quality inspection. Practical tests using
appliances taken at random are conducted
and this may explain any possible traces of
use.
• The glass jug without a metal part is
microwave and dishwasher safe
(ATTENTION: the thermal pot must not be
placed in the microwave or dishwasher).
• The power cord must never be close to or in
contact with hot parts of the appliance,
close to a source of heat or resting on sharp
edges.
• Never place the appliance close to a wall or
below a wall cupboard. The steam could
cause damage.
• Never place the appliance below or close to
easily inflammable objects (e.g. curtains,
etc.).
• After switching on your coffee maker, never
put your hand on the warming plate when
you are removing the jug from the coffee
maker. While in operation, this plate has a
very high temperature, which could cause
burns.
Before using for the first time
• Use your filter coffee maker without coffee
the first time using the equivalent of a jug
of water to rinse your coffee maker.
