7.5. More Wireless & Network settings
Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > More.
Mode Settings You can change the SIM display name, enable Airplane mode or
choose which SIM card you want to use.
VPN - Adjust settings that allow you to connect to websites and other resources
within a secured local network from outside that network.
Tethering & portable hotspot - Adjust settings that allow you to share your
device's network connection with a computer or with up to 8 other devices.
Mobile networks - Adjust settings that control your device's connections with
mobile data networks.
7.6. Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology that allows devices to
exchange information over a distance of about 10 meters without requiring a physical
connection. The Bluetooth device must be initially paired with your phone.
Turning ON Bluetooth and making your phone visible (discoverable)
Touch All Apps icon > Settings > Wireless & networks to access the Wireless &
network settings options. Turn on the Bluetooth and its icon will be displayed on the
Notification Bar.
Bluetooth settings: Allows you to manage the connection, set up device names and
make visible your availability to connect with other Bluetooth enabled devices. It makes
your phone visible for 119 seconds to pair with another device.
Pairing with a Bluetooth device
You can pair your phone with another Bluetooth device.
1. Make sure s Bluetooth-enabled.
2. Touch All Apps icon > Settings >Wireless & networks > Bluetooth to access the
Bluetooth Setting options.
3. Select Scan for devices, then your phone will start searching for Bluetooth devices
within range.
4. Select the name of the device you want to pair with on your phone and when
prompted, select Pair to complete the pairing process.
Un-pairing a Bluetooth device
You can disconnect a paired device from your phone in the Bluetooth devices section.
Touch the Quick Settings icon beside the connected Bluetooth device you want to
unpair from. A screen will open and this allows you to change the device's name, unpair
it or select profiles.
