4.7. Motion Detect: At first set motion detect “on” in the menu. Then, the device does
not record if the recording range have no movement. If the recording range (20cm)
has movement, the device records automatically.
If there is a movement in the range of minimum 20cm distance from the Car Camera,
the device starts recording automatically.
4.8. Screen Saver Function: Here you have four options in the menu
(1) OFF (Default) = Display stays active
(2) 1min. / 2min. / 3min = Display turns to be dark if not operate after 1min/2min/3min
respectively, but the camera will not stop recording. The blue light indicator flickers. If
the blue light indicator is dark that means, the camera is not recording or something
happened (such as the MicroSD card is full).
4.9. Shooting a video: Press OK to start recording, press it again to stop.
4.10. Video option settings: Press MENU key, enter video option setting
Video resolution: 1080FHD, 1920x1080 720P, WVGA 1280x720, VGA 640x480
Time display: ON/OFF.
Motion detect: ON/OFF.
Recording: ON/OFF.
Loop recording: Off (Default) / 3min. / 5min. / 10min.
ATTENTION: Loop Recording is at the beginning in “OFF” mode. In case of an
accident when Loop Recording is OFF, the G-Sensor will not work correctly!
The Car Camera is in default mode „OFF“. In that case, the camera does loop
recording by two slots, TF1 and TF2 (when two memory cards are inserted). When the
memory card in TF1 is full, the camera jumps automatically to slot TF2, and recording
goes on.
When the memory card in TF2 is full, the camera automatically formats the memory
card in TF1 (all recorded data on TF1 will be deleted) and continues with recording on
the memory card in TF1. The duration of each recording time are 20 minutes.
Attention: If only one memory card is inserted, the camera stops automatically
recording, when the memory card is full.
If the default mode is changed to 3 min. / 5 min. / 10 min., the camera starts loop
recording only on the first memory card in TF1 (if a memory card only is inserted in
TF1), or only on the second memory card in TF2 (if a memory card only is inserted in
TF2). When the memory card is full, recording starts from the beginning without
formatting the memory card. In other words: the „old“ recordings are replaced by the
„new“ recordings. The duration of recording time are 3 min. / 5 min. / 10 min.
respectively.
Attention: If in both slots – TF1 and TF2 – a memory card is inserted, loop recording
is done on memory card TF1 only.
