WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Bevor Sie Ihr Gerät benutzen, lesen Sie bitte aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät vermerkten Spannung
übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät benutzen.
Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät bei Gebrauch niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Halten Sie Kinder oder
hilfsbedürftige Personen vom Gerät fern.
Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Anschlussleitung auf Beschädigungen. Bei Beschädigung
an Anschlussleitung oder Gerät darf das Gerät aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht mehr benutzt
werden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zur Haushaltszwecken, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
angegeben.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen,
noch zum anderen Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer heissen Oberfläche (Herdplatte usw.).
Für Reparaturen wenden Sie sich an einen Fachmann

Entfernen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an einem trockenen Platz auf.

stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt
werden.
Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu bewegen. Achten Sie darauf,
dass die Anschlussleitung nicht zufälligerweise irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall
des Gerätes führen könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät, achten
Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht mit den heissen Teilen des Gerätes in Kontakt
kommt.
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf einen Tisch oder auf eine ebene Fläche damit es nicht umfällt.
Beachten Sie das Filter und Dampfdüse beim Gebrauch der Maschine sehr heiss werden.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät mit der entsprechenden Vorsicht.
Öffnen Sie niemals den Tankdeckel, solange das Gerät in Gebrauch ist, stellen Sie sicher,
dass der Behälter nicht mehr unter Druck steht, wenn Sie ihn öffnen. Lassen Sie vorher den
Dampf über die Dampfdüse entweichen.
Benutzen Sie ausschließlich kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-)Wasser. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser
aus Badewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät vollständig erkaltet und der Druck abgelassen ist, bevor
Sie es reinigen, wegräumen oder erneut mit Wasser füllen. Das Gerät muss daher
abgeschaltet sein, bevor man erneut Wasser einfüllt.
Berühren Sie nicht die heissen Teile des Gerätes, insbesondere nicht die Dampfdüse.
Benutzen Sie den Griff an der Kanne.
Benutzen Sie die Dampffunktion nur unter besonderer Vorsicht damit sie sich nicht
verbrühen, wenn Dampf austritt. Benutzen Sie die Dampfdüse nur, um Wasser oder Milch
aufzuwärmen oder damit die Milch schaumig wird.

VORBEREITUNG DER MASCHINE
Es wird empfohlen sich mit allen Funktionen des Gerätes vertraut zu machen, bevor Sie es
benutzen. Schließen Sie es dazu nicht ans Netz. Legen Sie den Filtereinsatz (g) in den
Filterträger (f) und setzen Sie ihn in die Anschlussöffnung (e) ein. Öffnen und schließen Sie den
Schraubdeckel (a) des Wassertanks der Espressomaschine. Probieren Sie den EIN/AUS Schalter
(b), den Dampfregelknopf (c) und alle Zubehörteile der Kaffeemaschine. Reinigen Sie das
Zubehör sorgfältig in heissem Seifenwasser, spülen Sie es ab und trocknen Sie es sorgfältig ab.
BEACHTEN SIE, DASS IN DER ESPRESSOMASCHINE EIN HOHER DAMPFDRUCK VORHANDEN IST !
Öffnen Sie nie den Schraubdeckel des Wassertanks und entfernen Sie nie den Filterträger
während des Betriebs des Gerätes oder solange noch Dampf im Wassertank ist.
Um zu kontrollieren, ob das Gerät noch unter Druck ist, beachten Sie die folgenden
Vorschriften:
1. Der EIN/AUS-Schalter (b) muss auf der AUS-Stellung sein.
2. Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz.
3. Halten Sie einen Behälter mit kaltem Wasser unter der Dampfdüse (d) und tauchen Sie die
Düse ins Wasser.
4. Sobald die Düse (d) ins Wasser getaucht ist, drehen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) von links
nach rechts (Stellung ). Nun tritt der noch vorhandene Dampf aus.
5. Wenn kein Dampf mehr austritt, drehen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) von rechts nach links
(Stellung OFF)
6. Nun können Sie den Schraubdeckel (a) des Wassertanks und den Filterträger (f) entfernen.
7. Falls noch Restwasser im Wassertank sein sollte, entfernen Sie die Glaskanne (i) und das
Abtropfgitter (j) und drehen Sie das Gerät über einem Spülbecken um, um es vollständig
zu entleeren.
Diese Sicherheitsvorschriften müssen respektiert werden, nicht nur wenn das Gerät eingestellt
ist, sondern auch noch 10-15 Minuten nach Abschalten des Gerätes.
VORSCHRIFTEN FÜR DIE KAFFEE- UND ESPRESSOKANNEN
Um zu vermeiden, dass die Kannen zu Bruch gehen:
Heizen Sie die Kannen nicht, wenn sie leer sind. Lassen Sie die Kaffeekanne nicht mit
kleinen Restmengen auf der Warmhalteplatte stehen, so dass diese kleinen Mengen
verdunsten könnten.
Tauschen Sie die Kannen aus, wenn Sie irgendwie beschädigt sind.
Wenn Sie angeschlagen oder gesprungen sind, könnten Sie zerbrechen oder Glaspartikeln
in die Flüssigkeit dringen lassen.
Stellen Sie die heißen Kannen nicht auf eine kalte oder feuchte Fläche.
Benutzen Sie die Kannen nicht, wenn die Griffe angeschlagen oder zerbrochen sind.
Benutzen Sie keine Metallschwämme, um die Kannen zu reinigen.
Stellen Sie die Kannen nicht auf oder in der Nähe eines elektrischen Kochers oder
Gaskochers, in einen Ofen oder in eine Mikrowelle.
Vermeiden Sie Schocks.

ESPRESSOFUNKTION
Der Espresso ist ein starker Kaffee, der einen typischen Geschmack hat und sehr reich an
Aroma ist. Um ihn zuzubereiten, wird heißes Wasser unter hohem Druck durch das Kaffeepulver
gedrückt. Er schöpft die essenziellen Duftstoffe aus dem Kaffee, dafür wird in kleinen
Espressotassen serviert.
Benutzen Sie vorzugsweise speziellen Espressokaffee, der entsprechend geröstet und auch
gemahlen wurde.
Vergessen Sie nicht, dass das Espressopulver feiner gemahlen ist als der Filterkaffee.
VOR DER ERSTEN BENUTZUNG
Vor der ersten Benutzung sollten Sie das Gerät ca. 3 mal nur mit Wasser (OHNE KAFFEEPULVER)
betreiben, um das innere System ausreichend zu reinigen. Siehe hierzu Abschnitt
VORBEREITUNG EINES ESPRESSOS der Bedienungsanleitung.
VORBEREITUNG EINES ESPRESSOS
1. Schließen Sie das Gerät an das Netz an. Der EIN/AUS-Schalter (b) muss auf der AUS-
Stellung sein.
2. Legen Sie den Filtereinsatz (g) in den Filterträger (f) (Abb. 1). In dem Filtereinsatz (g) gibt es
zwei Markierungen (2 und 4 Tassen). Füllen Sie ihn mit Kaffeepulver bis zur gewünschten
Markierung (Abb. 2).
3. Drücken Sie den Kaffee leicht an und entfernen Sie evtl. Kaffeereste auf dem Rand des
Filterträgers (f). Dies ermöglicht eine einwandfreie Positionierung des Filterträgers (f) in der
Maschine. Drücken Sie den Kaffee nicht zu fest. Um ein Verstopfen oder ein Überlaufen zu
vermeiden, überschreiten Sie die Einfüll-Markierung 4 in dem Filter (g) nicht.
4. Achtung: Kontrollieren Sie, dass die Filterverriegelung nach hinten gezogen ist und nicht
über den Filtereinsatz ragt. Stellen Sie den Filterträger (f) in die Anschlußöffnung (e) und
drehen ihn fest nach rechts, bis er einrastet (Abb.3). Der Filterträger (f) muß möglichst weit
nach rechts gedreht werden. Wenn der Filterträger (f) nicht richtig montiert ist (der Griff
muss mindestens über die Mitte der Anschlussöffnung hinaus nach rechts zeigen), sollten
Sie Ihr Gerät nicht benutzen. Entfernen Sie den Filterträger (f) wieder und prüfen Sie, worin
die Ursache für die gescheiterte Montage liegen könnte. Danach setzen Sie ihn erneut ein.
Der Filterträger (f) muss richtig montiert sein, damit er bei dem entstehenden hohen Druck
nicht aus der Maschine gedrückt wird.
5. Schrauben Sie den Schraubdeckel des Wassertanks (a) entgegen der Uhrzeigerrichtung
los (Abb. 4).
6. Füllen Sie die Kanne (i) mit kaltem Wasser bis die gewünschte Markierung (2 oder 4 Tassen)
und gießen Sie das Wasser in den Wassertank der Espressomaschine (Abb. 5).
Maßmarkierungen:
Auf der Espressoglaskanne gibt es drei Markierungen:
Markierung 2
Markierung 4
Markierung (Dampf)
Die Markierung 2 entspricht 2 Tassen Espresso.
Die Markierung 4 entspricht 4 Tassen Espresso.

Die Markierung entspricht 2 Tassen Espresso + der notwendigen Wassermenge zur
Dampfherstellung für die Vorbereitung eines Cappuccinos.
Überschreiten Sie nicht den Maximumfüllstand. (Metallstreifen um die Kanne).
Achtung: Füllen Sie den Wassertank der Expressomaschine nie, wenn der Schalter (b) auf
die EIN-Stellung ist. Während des Einfüllens, muss Ihr Gerät unbedingt ausgeschaltet sein.
7. Legen Sie den Schraubdeckel (a) auf das Gerät und drehen Sie ihn in Uhrzeigerrichtung
bis zum festen Verschluss (Abb. 6).
8. Dann legen Sie den Deckel auf die Kanne (i), so dass die Öffnung sich unter den
Auslauföffnungen des Filterträgers (f) befindet (Abb.7).
9. Stellen Sie die Kanne unter den Filterträger (f). Kontrollieren Sie, dass die Auslauföffnung
des Filterträgers in die Öffnung des Kannedeckels ragt (Abb. 8).
Achtung: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Auffangschale (j) leer ist.
10. Nun können Sie den Espresso zubereiten. Drücken Sie auf den EIN/AUS-Schalter (b) zur
Inbetriebnahme (Abb. 9) und drehen Sie den Dampfregelknopf von links nach rechts
(Stellung ). Die Kontrollleuchte (k) geht an.
11. Nach ungefähr 2 Minuten wird das Wasser die richtige Temperatur erreichen und wird
durch das Kaffeepulver gepresst und als Espresso in die Kanne laufen.
12. Wenn genug Kaffee in der Kanne ist, schalten Sie die Espressomaschine durch Drücken
des Schalters (b) aus. Die Kontrollleuchte erlischt.
13. Bevor Sie den Filterträger (f) entfernen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Tank nicht mehr
unter Druck steht. (Siehe hierzu Abschnitt VORSCHRIFTEN ÜBER DEN DAMPF der
Bedienungsanleitung).
Vorsicht
Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig, wenn Sie den Filterträger (f) entfernen, weil die Metallteile noch
heiß sein könnten. Um den Filterträger zu entfernen, drehen Sie ihn nach links und nehmen ihn
aus der Öffnung (Abb. 10).
Achtung: Kontrollieren Sie zuerst, dass der Tank leer ist und dass es keinen Dampf mehr gibt, der
den Tank unter Druck setzt.
Entfernen Sie den Filterträger (f). Schieben Sie die Filtersicherung am Filterträger nach vorn, so
dass sie über den Rand des Filtereinsatzes ragt (so dass der Einsatz beim Umdrehen nicht
herausfallen kann) und entleeren Sie den Filtereinsatz (g) (Abb.11).
ZUBEREITUNG EINES CAPPUCCINOS
1. Gehen Sie zunächst genauso vor, wie bei der Espressozubereitung. Da sie zum
Milchaufschäumen Wasserdampf benötigen, müssen Sie nun zu der notwendigen
Wassermenge für die Tassenanzahl noch zusätzliches Wasser für die Dampfereugung
hinzugeben. (Siehe hierzu Abschnitt Maßmarkierungen der Bedienungsanleitung).
2. Füllen Sie einen kleinen Behälter bis zu einem Drittel oder zur Hälfte mit frischer und kalter
Vollmilch.
3. Um einen Espresso zuzubereiten, schalten Sie die Espressomaschine ein (b) und drehen Sie
den Dampfregelknopf auf die Stellung .
4. Wenn der Espresso fertig ist, stellen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) wieder auf die OFF-
Stellung.
5. Um die Milch aufzuschäumen, richten Sie die Dampfdüse (d) vom Gerät weg, stellen Sie
den Behälter mit der Milch darunter (Abb. 12)und tauchen die Dampfdüse (d) in die Milch.
Nun drehen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) von links nach rechts (Stellung ) (Abb. 13)
während ca. 45 bis 60 Sekunden, je nach der gewünschten Schaummenge. Tauchen Sie

die Düse (d) nicht tiefer als 3 cm in die Milch. Leichte Auf- und Abwärtsbewegungen
unterstützen den Aufschäumvorgang. Lassen Sie die Milch nie kochen.
6. Wenn der Milchschaum fertig ist, stellen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) wieder auf die OFF-
Stellung.
7. Füllen Sie nun den Espresso in die Tassen und heben den Milchschaum mit einem Löffel auf
den Kaffee.
DAMPFFUNKTION
Wenn Sie nur Milch aufschäumen wollen, füllen Sie die Espressokanne mit Wasser bis zur
Markierung . Mit dieser Menge können Sie innerhalb einer Minute Dampf erzeugen.
1. Gießen Sie Wasser in den Tank und stellen Sie den Schalter (b) auf die EIN-Stellung.
2. Stellen Sie eine Tasser unter die Dampfdüse (d), um eventuelle Wassertropfen aufzufangen
und drehen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) von links nach rechts (Stellung ).
3. Dann gehen Sie vor wie unter Punkt 5 und 6 der Vorbereitung eines Cappuccinos
beschrieben. Wenn Sie den gewünschten Milchschaum haben, schließen Sie den
Dampfregelknopf (OFF-Stellung) und schalten Sie den Schalter (b) aus.
REINIGUNG
Bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, schalten Sie es aus, ziehen den Stecker aus der Steckdose und
warten, bis das Gerät abgekühlt ist. Der Filtereinsatz, der Filterträger, die Kanne und ihr Deckel,
das Abstellgitter können Sie mit Seifenwasser reinigen. Trocknen Sie den Körper des Gerätes mit
einem feuchten Tuch. Tauchen Sie den Körper des Gerätes nie in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten. Reinigen Sie die Anschlussöffnung für den Filterträger (e) auch mit einem
feuchten Tuch, um alle Kaffeereste zu entfernen. Wenn noch Wasser im Tank ist, lassen Sie das
Gerät abkühlen, nehmen Sie den Schraubdeckel des Wassertanks (a) ab, entfernen die
abnehmbaren Teile und leeren Sie den Tank, indem Sie das Gerät über einem Spülbecken
umdrehen.
Reinigung der Dampfdüse
Reinigen Sie die Dampfdüse (d) nach jedem Gebrauch, besonders wenn sie in Milch getaucht
wurde, sonst kann die Innenseite der Düse verstopfen und es wird schwierig, die
Milchrückstände zu entfernen.
Sollte die verstopft sein, benutzen Sie eine Nadel, um die Öffnung frei zu machen. Wenn Sie die
Milch kurz vorher aufgeschäumt haben, trocknen Sie zuerst das Gehäuse der Düse mit einem
feuchten Tuch. Dann halten Sie das Tuch an die Dampfaustritt-Öffnung, stellen Sie den
Dampfregelknopf (c) auf die Stellung und lassen den Dampf eine oder zwei Sekunden lang
entweichen. Nun schließen Sie den Knopf.
ACHTUNG: VERBRENNEN SIE SICH NICHT DURCH DEN HEIßEN DAMPF ODER AN DEM METALLTEIL
DER DÜSE (DAS NOCH HEISS SEIN KANN). SEIEN SIE SEHR VORSICHTIG, UM SICH NICHT ZU
VERBRENNEN.
Reinigung des Abtropfgitters

Entkalkung der Espressomaschine
Die Espresso Maschine soll regelmäßig entkalkt werden. Die Häufigkeit hängt von der Härte des
Wassers und von der Häufigkeit der Benutzung ab.
Bevor Sie das Gerät entkalken, schrauben Sie zuerst das Filtergitter von der Anschlussöffnung
des Filterträgers ab (Abb. 15).
1. Entfernen Sie enventuell vorhandenen Kesselstein und Kaffeereste von dem Filtergitter und
von der Wasseraustrittsöffnung. Es wird empfohlen, nur handelsübliches flüssiges
Entkalkungsmittel zu benutzen in der empfohlenen Dosierung.
2. Füllen Sie die Espresso-
gießen Sie diese in den Wassertank der Espressomaschine. Stellen Sie einen Behälter unter
die Anschlussöffnung des Filterträgers (e) und einen weiteren unter die Dampfdüse (d)
(Achtung: benutzen Sie den Filterträger (f) während der Entkalkung nicht).
3. Drücken Sie auf den EIN-Schalter (b) und stellen Sie den Dampfregelknopf (c) auf die
Stellung . Warten Sie, bis Dampf aus der Düsenöffnung (d) austritt.
4. Nach ungefähr 30 Sekunden stoppen Sie die Dampfemission, indem Sie den
Dampfregelknopf (c) auf die OFF-Stellung stellen. Nun läuft die Entkalkungslösung aus der
Anschlußöffnung in den Behälter.
5. Wenn die Lösung völlig durchgelaufen ist, schalten Sie das Gerät aus und lassen es
abkühlen.
6. Wiederholen Sie diesen Vorgang noch einmal.
Dann machen Sie dasselbe aber mit frischem Wasser, um das innere System zu spülen. Dazu
sollten Sie den Espressotank zweimal bis zum Maximum füllen und das Wasser durchlaufen
lassen. Schalten Sie das Gerät aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Lassen Sie es
abkühlen und schrauben Sie das Filtergitter in der Anschlussöffnung wieder sorgfältig fest.
Achtung: Benutzen Sie keinen Essig zur Entkalkung.

BEDIENUNG DER KAFFEEMASCHINE
ACHTUNG: ENTFERNEN SIE DIE GLASKANNE (O), WENN SIE DEN SCHWENKFILTER ÔFFNEN ODER
SCHLIEßEN.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Kaffeezubereitung führen Sie bitte 2-3 Kochvorgänge mit frischem Wasser durch
(ohne Kaffeepulver). Ist das Wasser durchgelaufen, schalten Sie das Gerät ab und wiederholen
Sie den Vorgang nach ca. 5 Minuten mit frischem Wasser.
KAFFEEZUBEREITUNG
Öffnen Sie den Schwenkfilter (n). (Abb. I)
Legen Sie eine Filtertüte in den Schwenkfilter (Abb. II) und füllen Sie sie mit der
gewünschten Kaffeemenge auf (Abb. III). Schließen Sie den Schwenkfilter wieder (Abb. IV)
und vergewissern Sie sich, dass er richtig geschlossen ist.
Öffnen Sie den Deckel des Wassertanks der Kaffeemaschine (l) und füllen Sie ihn mit der
gewünschten Wassermenge ein (Abb. V).
Vergessen Sie nicht den Deckel des Wassertanks zu schließen, bevor Sie das Gerät
anschalten.
Ein Tropf-Stop verhindert, das Kaffee auf die Heizplatte (p) tropft, wenn die Kanne entfernt
wird. Der Tropf-Stop wird wieder geöffnet, wenn Sie die Kanne (o) auf die Heizplatte
zurückstellen
Nach Beendigung des Brühvorganges warten Sie, bis der Filter leergelaufen ist.
REINIGUNG
Schalten Sie das Gerät vor der Reinigung immer ab. Reinigen Sie den Schwenk-Filter, die
Kanne und den Deckel im warmen Seifenwasser. Stellen Sie dieses Zubehör nie in die
Spülmaschine.
Benutzen Sie kein Schleifmittel.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals ins Wasser. Um es zu reinigen, benutzen Sie ein feuchtes
Tuch.
Benutzen Sie keinen Tuch, um die Innenseite des Wassertanks zu reinigen. Dabei könnten
Fasern oder Fussel zurückbleiben. Spülen Sie ihn mit klarem Wasser regelmäßig aus.
ENTKALKUNG

coded:
blue = neutral, brown = live, green or green & yellow = earth.

PREPARING THE MACHINE
We recommend to get used to all functions of your appliance before using it for the first time.
Do not plug it in. Insert the metal filter (g) in the filter holder (f) and position the filter holder.
Remove and replace the cap of the water tank (a) of the espresso machine. Activate the
ON/OFF switch (b) and the steam control knob (c). Try all the accessories of the coffee maker.
Wash the accessories thoroughly in hot soapy water, rinse and dry them carefully.
SPECIAL SAFEGUARDS CONCERNING STEAM UNDER PRESSURE IN THE ESPRESSO MAKER
Never open the cap of the water tank and never remove the filter holder during the
functioning of the appliance or as long as there is steam under pressure in the tank.
To check if the appliance is still under pressure, read the following instructions:
1. Make sure that the espresso switch (b) in on the OFF position.
2. Unplug the appliance from the power supply.
3. Hold a container with cold water under the steam pipe (d) and introduce the pipe in the
water.
4. Once the steam pipe (d) is immersed in water, put the steam control knob (c) in
position. Continue this until no more steam comes out of the pipe.
5. Put the steam control knob (c) in OFF position.
6. You can now remove the cap (a) of the tank and the filter holder (f).
7. If there is still water in the tank, remove the glass carafe (i) and the grid of the drip tray (j),
then turn the appliance upside down over a sink in order to empty the remaining water.
These safeguards are to be respected not only when the appliance is on but also during the 10-
15 minutes following the stopping of the appliance.
SPECIAL SAFEGUARDS CONCERNING THE COFFEE AND ESPRESSO CARAFES
In order not to break the carafes:
Do not wait that all the liquid has evaporated from the carafes.

Change your carafes if they are damaged.
If they are chipped or cracked, they could break or let glass particles enter the liquid.
Do not place the hot carafes on a cold or wet surface.
Do not use the carafes if the handles are cracked or broken.
Do not use metal sponges to clean the carafes, they could scratch and weaken the glass.
Do not place the carafes on or near an electric or gas stove, in a oven or in a microwave
oven.
Avoid shocks.
ESPRESSO MODE
The espresso is a strong coffee, with a characteristic taste, extremely rich in aroma. Therefore,
the water that arrives in the filter with a high temperature is pushed very fast through the
coffee mass by a strong pressure. It extracts the nectar from the grinding and draws the

cups.
Use preferably a special espresso coffee with suitable roasting and grinding.
Remember that the espresso needs a finer grinding than the filter coffee.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
When you use your appliance for the first time we recommend in order to wash the inner side
of the appliance circuit, you have to operate it three times as described in the section "HOW
TO PREPARE AN ESPRESSO" (WITHOUT COFFEE IN THE FILTER HOLDER).
HOW TO PREPARE AN ESPRESSO
1. Insert the plug in the power supply. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch (b) is on the OFF
position.
2. Insert the filter (g) into the filter holder (f) (Fig.1). On the filters there are two marks (2 and 4
cups). Fill with ground espresso coffee until the desired level (Fig. 2).
3. Gently tamp the coffee into coffee filter and remove the excess coffee from the edge of
filter holder (f). This will ensure the good positioning of the filter holder in its support (e).


4. Caution: Check that the filter locking flap is as far as possible from the filter. Position the
filter holder (f) in the support of the filter holder (f). Turn firmly to the right until it blocks (Fig.
3). The filter holder (f) should be the most on the right of the closing zone as possible. If the
filter holder (f) does not fit in the closing zone and at least in the middle of the appliance,
do not operate your appliance, remove the filter holder (f) and position it again as
described here above until the filter holder is in the closing zone. This will avoid that the
filter holder (f) comes out of its housing as the pressure rises when the coffee is flowing
through the filter.
5. Unscrew the cap of the tank (a) anticlockwise (Fig. 4).
6. Fill the carafe (i) with cold tap water until the desired level (2 or 4 cups) and pour in the
Espresso tank (Fig. 5).
Measure indication
On the carafe they are 3 marks:
Mark 2
Mark 4
Mark (steam)
The mark 2 corresponds to 2 espresso cups.
The mark 4 corresponds to 4 espresso cups.
The mark corresponds to 2 espresso cups + the necessary water quantity to produce
steam for the preparation of cappuccino.
Do not overfill the equivalent of 5 cups, which is the maximum level represented by the
metal strip around the carafe.
Attention: Do not fill the espresso tank when the switch (b) is in the ON position. Your
appliance must be on when you fill the tank.
7. Place the cap of the tank (a) on the appliance and turn it clockwise until it locks
completely (Fig. 6).
8. Then place the lid on the carafe (i) in such a way that the opening of the carafe lid faces
the spout of the filter holder (f) (Fig. 7).

9. Place the carafe underneath the filter holder (f). Check if the spout of the filter holder
faces the opening of the carafe lid (Fig. 8).
Caution: Make sure that the grid of the drip tray (j) is placed.
10. You are now ready to prepare espressos. Press the espresso switch (b) (Fig. 9) and turn the
steam control knob to the position. The pilot light (k) comes on.
11. After about 2 minutes the water reaches the good temperature and flows through the
coffee grinding in the carafe.
12. When the coffee production is completed, press the ON/OFF switch (b). The pilot light
goes off indicating that the appliance is turned off.
13. Before removing the filter holder (f), make sure there is no more pressure in the tank (as
described in the section SAFEGUARDS CONCERNING STEAM UNDER PRESSURE).
Caution
Be careful when you remove the filter holder (f) because the metal parts could be still hot. To
remove the filter holder, turn it to the left and go over the closing zone until the filter holder
comes out of the appliance (Fig. 10).
Attention: Make sure that the tank is empty and that there is no more steam under pressure.
Remove the filter holder (f). Place the filter locking flap (so that the filter doesn’t fall) and empty
the coffee grinding from the filter (g) (Fig.11).
HOW TO PREPARE A CAPPUCCINO
1. To make cappuccino, the first step is making espresso. So fill the carafe (i) with the
necessary water quantity to obtain the desired espresso quantity and add more water in
order to froth the milk (see section Measure indication).
2. Fill the half or the third of a small container with fresh full-cream milk.
3. To make an espresso coffee, put the switch (b) on the ON position and turn the steam
control knob (c) to the position.
4. When the espresso is ready, put the steam control knob (c) in OFF position.
5. To froth the milk, turn the steam pipe (d) to the outside of the appliance, place the
container with the milk under the pipe (Fig. 12), plunge the steam pipe (d) in the milk and
put the steam control knob (c) in position (Fig. 13) for approximately 45-60 seconds
depending on how much froth you need and what type of milk you are using.
To obtain a smooth froth immerse the steam pipe (d) at about 3 cm in the milk. Lift and
lower the container but without immersing the pipe more than 3 cm in it. Do not bring the
milk to the boil.
6. Once the froth is obtained, shut off steam by putting the steam control knob (c) in OFF
position.
7. Pour the espresso coffee in the breakfast cups and forth on the espresso with a spoon.
STEAM FUNCTION
If you want to froth milk only, fill the espresso carafe with water until the mark . This quantity
allows you to obtain steam for around one minute.
1. Pour the water in the water tank and put the switch (b) in ON position.
2. Position a cup underneath the steam pipe (d) to collect the possible water drips and put
the control knob (c) in position.
3. Then proceed as indicated for the steps 5 and 6 of the preparation of a cappuccino and
when you obtain the desired milk froth, put the steam control knob in OFF position and
switch off the appliance.

CLEANING
Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off, remove the plug from the wall socket and wait
until it cools down. The filter, the filter holder, the carafe and its lid, the grid of the drip tray can
be washed in hot soapy water. Do not put them in the dish washer. Wipe the body of the
appliance with a damp cloth. Never immerse the body of the appliance in water or any other
liquid. Clean the support of the filter holder (e) with a damp cloth too in order to eliminate the
coffee residues. If there is still water in the tank, let the appliance cool down, remove the tank
cap (a), remove the different parts and empty the tank by turning the appliance on a sink in
order to empty the remaining water.
Cleaning of the steam pipe
Wash the steam pipe (d) after each use especially when it has been immersed in milk. If you
do not wash it, the inner side of the pipe can get blocked up and it will be difficult to remove
the milk residues around it. In case of obstruction of the pipe, use a needle to remove the milk
residues. Just after having lathered up the milk, wipe the body of the pipe with a damp cloth,
then keep the cloth against the opening of the steam outlet and put the steam control knob
(c) in position; let the steam escape for one or two seconds in order to throw out the milk
residues and then close the knob.
ATTENTION: PAY ATTENTION NOT TO GET BURNED WITH THE STEAM AND THE METAL PART OF THE
PIPE (WHICH MAY BE HOT).
Cleaning of the drip tray
In order to clean the drip tray (j) remove the grid (Fig.14).
Caution: Never try to open or to disassemble the body of the appliance.
Descaling the espresso maker
The espresso machine has to be descaled regularly. The frequency depends on the water
hardness and of the use frequency.
Before descaling the appliance, the filter grid of the support MUST be removed (fig. 15).
1. Remove the scale and the coffee residues from the filter grid and from the support of the
filter holder (e). It is recommended to use only liquid descaling agent that can be found in
shops and in the proportions indicated on the packing paper by the producer.
2. Fill the espresso carafe (i) with t
solution in the espresso tank. Place a container under the support of the filter holder (e)
and another one under the steam pipe (d) (Caution: do not use the filter holder (f) during
the descaling).
3. Press the ON/OFF switch (b) and turn the steam control knob (c) in the position. Wait
until steam comes out the opening of the pipe (d).
4. After approximately 30 seconds, stop the hot water flow by putting the steam control
knob (c) in OFF position and let the descaling solution flow through the support of the filter
holder in the container.
5. When the solution has finished flowing, switch off the appliance and let it cool down.
6. Repeat this operation a second time.
Then proceed in the same way but this time only with fresh water to rinse the inner side of the
circuit. For a good rinsing, the equivalent of two espresso tanks has to pass through the circuit.
Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the power supply. Let it cool down, put the
filter grid back in the support of the filter holder and screw it tight.
Caution: Never use vinegar like descaling agent.

INITIAL OPERATION
For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil processes with fresh water (without coffee). Once all
the water has passed through, switch off the appliance and let it cool down during 5 minutes.
Then repeat the process with fresh water.
PREPARATION OF COFFEE
Open the swing filter holder (n) (Fig. I)
Insert a filter in the filter holder (Fig. II) and fill it with the desired amount of coffee (Fig. III).
Close the swing filter holder making sure it is closed tight. (Fig. IV)
Open the lid of the water tank (l) and pour the desired amount of water (Fig. V)
Do not forget to close the lid of the water tank (l) before switching on the appliance
Put the switch (m) of the coffee maker in ON position (fig VI). The pilot light (q) will come
on.
When you remove the carafe (o) from the appliance, an anti-drip valve will automatically
operate to stop any drops of coffee from dripping onto the hotplate (p). Putting back the
carafe automatically opens the anti-drip valve and allows remaining coffee to flow trough
into the carafe.
Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter has run empty.
CLEANING
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Clean the swing filter, the carafe and its
lid in hot soapy water. Do not put those parts in the dishwasher.
Never use abrasive products.
Never immerse the appliance in water. To clean it only use a soft damp cloth.
Do not use cloth to wash the inside of the water tank, this could let threads or cloth rests in
it. Rinse it regularly with clear water.

PREPARATION D’UN EXPRESSO
1. Branc-

2. Placez le filtre (g) dans le porte-filtre (f) (fig.1). Le filtre (g) comporte une marque indiquant
2 à 4 tasses. Remplissez-ré (fig. 2).
3. Tassez légèrement et enlevez les surplus de café qui peuvent demeurer au bord du porte-
filtre (f). Ceci assurera le bon positionnement du porte-filtre dans le support du porte-filtre
(e). Ne tassez pas trop le café. Pour éviter une obturation ou un débordement, ne
dépassez pas le niveau de remplissage «4» indiqué dans le filtre (g).
4. Attention: vérifiez que le clapet de blocage du filtre soit le plus possible éloigné du filtre,
puis positionnez le porte-filtre (f) sur le support du porte-filtre (e) et tournez-le fermement
-filtre (f) devra être le plus à droite
possible de la zone de fermeture. Si le porte-

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig vooraleer u uw toestel gebruikt.
Controleer of de netspanning overeenstemt met deze van het toestel vooraleer u het
gebruikt.
Laat uw toestel tijdens het gebruik nooit zonder toezicht. Houd het toestel buiten het
bereik van kinderen of van ontoerekeningsvatbare personen.
Controleer regelmatig of het snoer niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel niet indien het
snoer of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden vertonen.
Gebruik het toestel enkel voor huishoudelijk gebruik en op de wijze zoals vermeld in de
gebruiksaanwijzing.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het te
reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een vaatwasmachine.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
Een beschadigd snoer dient te worden vervangen door een bekwame gekwalificeerde

Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge plaats.
Gebruik geen toebehoren die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan
gevaarlijk voor de gebruiker zijn en het toestel beschadigen.
Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer
nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het
snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
Zet het toestel op een tafel of op een voldoende stabiel oppervlak zodat het niet valt.
Gebruik enkel koud of lauw (drinkbaar) water. Geen water gebruiken uit baden, wastafels
of andere recipiënten.
Gebruik dit toestel enkel indien de kan geen enkele beschadiging vertoont. Gebruik de
kan enkel met dit toestel. Wees voorzichtig met de kan vermits het glas breekbaar is.
Wacht tot het toestel volledig is afgekoeld alvorens het te reinigen, op te bergen of te
vullen. Het toestel dient dus natuurlijk buiten werking te zijn voor men het met water kan
vullen.
Zorg ervoor dat u het maximumpeil bij het vullen niet overschrijdt.
Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme onderdelen van het
toestel.
Let erop dat u de warme onderdelen, in het bijzonder de stoompijp, van het toestel niet
aanraakt Gebruik het handvat om de kan op te nemen.
Let erop dat u zich niet aan de stoompijp verbrandt wanneer er damp uit komt. Gebruik
de stoompijp slechts om water of melk op te warmen of omdat de melk zou schuimig
worden.
Gebruik voor het ontkalken enkel azijn of een speciaal hiertoe bestemd product. Gebruik
geen ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid zou kunnen schaden.
Schep slechts gemalen koffie in de filter.

VOOR HET GEBRUIK
Schakel uw toestel nog niet aan, maar plaats eerst met de metalen filter (g) in de filterhouder
(f). Verwijder de schroefdop van het espressoapparaat (a) en plaats terug. Druk een aantal
keren op de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (b) en draai de stoomregelaar (c). Probeer alle toebehoren
van het koffiezetapparaat.
Maak alle toebehoren zorgvuldig schoon in warm zeepwater, reinig deze en droog deze
zorgvuldig af.
BIJZONDERE VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN BETREFFENDE DE STOOM ONDER DRUK IN HET
ESPRESSOAPPARAAT.
Let erop dat u nooit de schroefdop van het reservoir mag openen of de filterhouder
verwijderen zolang er stoom in het reservoir is.
Volg volgende instructies om te controleren of het toestel nog onder druk staat:
1. Zorg ervoor dat de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (b) in de UIT-stand is.
2. Schakel het toestel uit.
3. Hou een kom met koud water onder de stoompijp (d) en dompel deze laatste in het
water.
4. Wanneer de stoompijp (e) in het water ondergedompeld is, draai de stoomregelaar (c)
van links naar rechts (stand ). Wacht totdat er geen stoom meer uit de pijp komt.
5. Plaats de stoomreglaar (c) weer op OFF.
6. U kan nu de schroefdop(a) van het reservoir en de filterhouder (f) verwijderen.
7. In het geval dat er nog water in het reservoir zou zijn, verwijder de glazen schenkkan (i) en
het opvangbakje (j) en draai het toestel om boven een wasbak om het overblijvende
water uit te gieten.
Deze voorzorgmaatregelen moeten gevolgd worden wanneer het toestel aan staat maar ook
tijdens de 10 à 15 minuten na het uitschakelen van het toestel.
BIJZONDERE VOORZORGMAATREGELEN BETREFFENDE DE “KOFFIE-” EN “EXPRESSO”-
SCHENKKANNEN.
Om het mogelijk breken van de schenkkannen te voorkomen:
Wacht niet tot dat alle vloeistof verdampt is.
Verwarm de schenkkannen niet na gebruik als deze leeg zijn.
Vervang de schenkkannen als deze beschadigd zijn.
Als de schenkkannen gescherfd of gebarsten zijn dan zouden ze kunnen breken en
zouden glazen stukken in de vloeistof kunnen vallen.
Plaats de warme schenkkannen niet op een koud of nat oppervlak.
Gebruik de schenkkannen niet als de handvatten gebarsten of gebroken zijn.
Gebruik voor de reiniging geen metalen sponsen; ze zouden het glas kunnen krassen
en/of beschadigen.
Plaats de schenkkannen niet op of in de buurt van een elektrisch kooktoestel of gasstel, in
een oven of in een microgolfoven.
Vermijd alle ruwe handelingen.

ESPRESSOFUNCTIE
De espresso is een straffe koffie met een bijzondere smaak en aroma.
Om een espresso te maken wordt het hete water dat op de filter aankomt heel snel door de
koffie geduwd door een sterke druk. De druk trekt de nectar van de gemalen koffie uit en
esso in kleine speciale

Vergeet niet dat fijngemalen koffie nodig is voor een espresso.
VÓÓR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
Wanneer u uw toestel voor het eerst gebruikt, raden wij u aan om de binnenkant van het
toestel schoon te maken het toestel drie keer te laten werken volgens de instructies
BEREIDING VAN EEN ES MAAR ZONDER KOFFIE IN DE FILTERHOUDER.
BEREIDING VAN EEN ESPRESSOKOFFIE
1. -stand is.
2. Plaats de filter (g) in de filterhouder (f) (Afb. 1). De filter (g) bevat een aanduiding 2 en 4
kopjes. Vul de filter met gemalen koffie (Afb. 2) tot de gewenste hoeveelheid.
3. Druk de koffie vast en verwijder het overschot aan koffie. Dat zal een goede plaatsing van
de filterhouder (f) in de drager van de filterhouder (e) mogelijk maken.


4. Opgelet: Controleer dat de filterblokkerende klep zich zo ver mogelijk van de filter
bevindt. Plaats de filterhouder (f) in de drager van de filterhouder (e) en draai deze van
links naar rechts totdat deze geblokkeerd is (Afb. 3). De filterhouder (f) zal zo rechts
mogelijk van de sluitingzone en ten minste in het midden van het toestel zijn geplaatst. Als
de filterhouder niet correct in de sluitingszone geplaatst is, zal uw toestel niet werken.
Verwijder de filterhouder en plaats deze terug zoals hierboven beschreven totdat de
filterhouder binnen de sluitingszone is. Door deze procedure te volgen, vermijdt u dat de
filterhouder (f) van zijn plaats komt met de stijging van de drukte tijdens het afzetten van
de koffie.
5. Schroef de schroefdop van het reservoir (a) in tegenwijzerszin los (Afb. 4).
6. Vul de schenkkan (i) met koud kraanwater tot de gewenste hoeveelheid koffie (2 of 4
kopjes) en giet het water in het espressoreservoir (Afb. 5).

Op de glazen espressoschenkkan staan 3 niveaus:

Opgelet: het espressoreservoir nooit vullen als de schakelaar (b) in de AAN-stand is. Uw
toestel moet absoluut uitgeschakeld zijn voor de vulling.
7. Plaats de schroefdop van het reservoir (a) op het toestel en draai van rechts naar links tot

8. Plaats dan het deksel op de schenkkan (i) zodat de opening onder de uitgang van de
filterhouder (f) is (Afb. 7).
9. Plaats de schenkkan onder de filterhouder (f). Let erop dat de opening van de uitgang
van de filterhouder zich in de opening van de deksel van de schenkkan bevindt (Afb. 8).
Opgelet: Zorg ervoor dat het opvangbakje (j) op zijn plaats zit.

draai de stoomregelaar (c) van rechts naar links (stand ). Het controlelampje (k) zal
branden.
11. Na ongeveer 2 minuten zal het water een goede temperatuur bereiken en door de
gemalen koffie in de schenkkan doorlopen.
12. Wanneer de koffieproductie gedaan is, druk op de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (b). Het
controlelampje zal uitgaan en zo aanduiden dat het toestel uitgeschakeld is.
13. Zorg ervoor dat er geen druk meer is in het reservoir vooraleer u de filterhouder (f) voor de
reiniging verwijdert. Volg hiervoor de aanbevelingen in de pBIJZONDERE
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN BETREFFENDE DE STOOM ONDER DRUK”.
Voorzorgsmaatregelen
U moet zeer voorzichtig zijn als u de filterhouder (f) verwijdert want de metalen delen kunnen
nog warm zijn. Om de filterhouder te verwijderen, draai deze naar links tot de filterhouder
loskomt.(Afb. 10).
Opgelet: Zorg ervoor dat het reservoir leeg is en dat er geen stoom meer onder druk is.
Verwijder de filterhouder (f). Sluit de filterblokkerende klep van de filterhouder zodat de filter
niet valt en gooi de gemalen koffie weg (Afb. 11)
BEREIDING VAN EEN CAPPUCCINO
1. Om een cappuccino te maken, moet u eerst een espresso maken. Dus u moet de
schenkkan (j) voor de gewenste hoeveelheid van espresso met water vullen. U moet ook
een bijkomende hoeveelheid van water toevoegen om de melk te doen schuimen (zie
Aanduidingen

3. Maak een espresso door de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (b) in de AAN-stand te plaatsen

krijgen, moet u de stoompijp (d) ongeveer 3 cm in de melk dompelen en de kom op en
neer halen zonder de buis dieper dan 3 cm in te dompelen. Vermijd de melk te doen
koken.
6. Als het schuim klaar is, stop dan de stoom door de stoomregelaar (c) weer in stand OFF te
plaatsen.
7. Giet de espresso-koffie in een normaal kopje (dus niet in een espressokopje) en voeg het
schuim bij de koffie toe.

STOOMFUNCTIE
Als u gewoon melk wilt doen schuimen, vul de espresso schenkkan met water tot het teken .
Met deze hoeveelheid kan ongeveer gedurende 1 minuut stoom gegenereerd worden.
1. Giet water in het reservoir en plaats de schakelaar (b) in de AAN-stand.
2. Plaats een kopje onder de stoompijp (d) om waterdruppels op te vangen en draai de
stoomregelaar van links naar rechts (stand )
3. Volg dan de punten 5 en 6 van de bereiding van cappuccino en plaats de
s
ONDERHOUD
Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht tot het toestel afgekoeld is vooraleer u het
toestel reinigt. Reinig de filter, de filterhouder, de schenkkan en zijn deksel en het opvangbakje
in een warme sop. Steek ze nooit in de vaatwasmachine. Droog het toestel met een vochtige
doek, dompel het toestel nooit in water of enige andere vloeistof. Maak de drager van de
filterhouder (e) ook schoon met een vochtige doek om alle koffieresten te verwijderen. Als er
water binnen het reservoir blijft, laat het toestel afkoelen, draai de schroefdop van het reservoir
(a) los, verwijder alle uitneembare delen en ledig het reservoir door het toestel boven de
wasbak om te keren.
Reiniging van de stoompijp
Maak de stoompijp (d) schoon na elk gebruik ook als deze in melk was ondergedompeld,
anders kunnen de melkresten de buis stoppen. In geval van verstopping van de buis, kunt u
een naald gebruiken om de resten te verwijderen. Nadat u melk hebt doen schuimen moet u
steeds de stoompijp afdrogen met behulp van een vochtige doek, de doek tegen de opening
van de stoompijp plaatsen en de stoomregelaar (c) in stand plaatsen. Laat de stoom
gedurende 1 à 2 seconden ontsnappen om de melkresten te laten ontsnappen en plaats


Reiniging van het opvangbakje
Verwijder het opvangbakje (j) om het te reinigen (Afb. 14).
Opgelet: Probeer nooit het toestel te openen of uit elkaar te halen.
Ontkalking van het espressoapparaat
De espresso moet regelmatig ontkalkt worden. De frequentie hangt van de hardheid van het
water en van de frequentie van het gebruik af.
Vooraleer u het toestel ontkalkt MOET u de filterrooster van de drager van de filterhouder (e)
losschroeven (Afb. 15).
1. Verwijder de kalk en de koffieresten van de filterrooster en van de drager en van de
filterhouder (e). Wij raden u aan enkel een vloeibaar ontkalkingmiddel uit de handel te
gebruiken en de instructies, die in de handleiding ervan beschreven zijn, goed te volgen.
Giet het ontkalkingmiddel in het waterreservoir in de proporties beschreven door de
fabrikant op het etiket van het product.

drager van de filterhouder (e) en een andere onder de stoompijp (d) (Opgelet: Gebruik
de filterhouder (f) niet tijdens de ontkalking).
3. Druk op de AAN/UIT-schakelaar (b) en draai de stoomregelaar (c) in positie . Wacht
totdat het warme water door de opening van de pijp (d) ontsnapt.
4. Zet de stoomreg
ontkalkingmiddel door de drager van de filterhouder in de kom afvloeien.
5. Wanneer het ontkalkingmiddel is afgevloeid kunt u het toestel uitschakelen en laten
afkoelen.
6. Herhaal de handeling een tweede keer.
Herhaal dit procédé daarna op dezelfde wijze maar met helder water om de binnen kant van
het circuit te reinigen. Voor een goede reiniging, moet de inhoud van water voor twee
waterreservoirs in het circuit sijpelen. Schakel het toestel uit en haal de stekker uit het
stopcontact. Laat het toestel afkoelen. Plaats de filterrooster terug in de drager van de
filterhouder en schroef voorzichtig vast.
Opgelet: Gebruik geen azijn als ontkalkingmiddel.

Laat het apparaat eerst 2 maal met zuiver water (dus zonder koffie) doorlopen vooraleer
u het voor het eerst gebruikt. Giet daarvoor water in het reservoir (l) en zet de schakelaar
(m) van het koffiezetapparaat in de AAN-stand (Afb. VI). Het controlelampje (q) zal
branden.
Is het water doorgelopen, schakel het apparaat dan uit, laat het 5 minuten afkoelen en
herhaal dit procédé.

KOFFIE ZETTEN
Open de filterhouder (n) (Afb. I)
Plaats een filter in de filterhouder (Afb. II) en vul deze met de gewenste hoeveelheid koffie
(Afb. III). Sluit de filterhouder (Afb. IV)
Open het deksel van het reservoir (l) en giet de gewenste hoeveelheid water erin (Afb. V)
Vergeet het deksel niet te sluiten vooraleer u het toestel aanschakelt.
Zet de schakelaar (m) van het toestel in de AAN-stand (Afb. VI). Het controlelampje (q)
zal branden.
Wanneer U de schenkkan (o) wegneemt, zal het antidrupsysteem zich automatisch sluiten
zodat geen enkele druppel meer op de warmhoudplaat(p) valt. Het terugplaatsen van
de kan opent automatisch het antidrupsysteem en laat toe dat de overgebleven koffie in
de filter verder in de kan loopt.
Wacht na het doorlopen van het warme water tot de filter is leeggelopen.
REINIGING
Schakel altijd het toestel uit vooraleer u het reinigt. Reinig de draaiende filterhouder, de
schenkkan en zijn deksel in warm zeepwater. Plaats deze accessoires nooit in de
vaatwasmachine.
Gebruik nooit schuurmiddelen.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder water. Om het toestel schoon te maken, gebruik alleen
een zachte en vochtige doek.
Gebruik nooit een doek om de binnenkant van het waterreservoir te reinigen, dat zou
stukken stof in het reservoir kunnen laten. Reinig deze regelmatig met helder water.
ONTKALKEN
Wij raden U aan het apparaat regelmatig te ontkalken. Dit verlengt de levensduur van het
apparaat. Gebruik hiervoor de in de handel zijnde ontkalkingmiddelen.
Zet geen enkel deel van dit toestel in de vaatwasmachine.
Opgelet: Gebruik nooit azijn als ontkalkingmiddel.
