AUFSTELLUNG DES GERÄTES

Achtung: Wir übernehmen keine Haftung für Schäden infolge eines schlechten Gebrauches

oder des Nichtbeachtens dieser Gebrauchsanleitung.

Den Konvektor nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Schutzkontaktsteckdose anschließen.

Die Netzspannung muss der auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes angegebenen Spannung

entsprechen. Das Gerät entspricht den Richtlinien, die für die CE-Kennzeichnung verbindlich

sind.

MONTAGE

Montieren Sie vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme die Standfüße unter das Gerät und sichern Sie

diese mit den beiliegenden Schrauben (der Bausatz besteht aus zwei Standfüßen, zwei

Schrauben und zwei Unterlegscheiben). Stecken Sie die Füße dazu in die Haken an der

Unterseite des Gerätes. Befestigen Sie dann jeden Fuß mit Hilfe einer Schraube und einer

Unterlegscheibe. Sobald die Füße korrekt montiert sind, ist Ihr Gerät stabil und gebrauchsfertig.

Benutzen Sie den Konvektor nie, wenn die Füße nicht montiert sind.

INBETRIEBNAHME

Nachdem Sie den Konvektor installiert haben, stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Schutzsteckdose.

Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme Ihres Gerätes ist eine leichte Geruchsentwicklung möglich.

Sorgen Sie daher für eine ausreichende Belüftung. Dieser Geruch wird schnell verschwinden.

Der Drehschalter ermöglicht die Wahl der Leistung. Je höher die Leistung, desto schneller wird

der Raum aufgeheizt.

Der Thermostat ermöglicht die Einstellung der Temperatur im Raum. Eine rote Kontrollleuchte

ermöglicht Ihnen die Regulierung des Thermostates nachzuschauen. Während das Gerät

aufheizt, leuchtet die Kontrollleuchte. Sobald die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht ist, geht

diese Leuchte aus.

ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ

Der Heizlüfter ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät abschaltet im Fall

der Überhitzung, zum Beispiel wegen einer Abdeckung der Gitter. Falls dies vorkommt, bitte das

Gerät ausschalten, den Stecker ca. 10 Minuten aus der Steckdose lassen, und die Gitter

freimachen. Schalten Sie das Gerät danach wie oben beschrieben wieder an. Dies reicht, um

REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE

 Vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.

 Aus Sicherheitsgründen um elektrische Schläge vorzubeugen darf das Gerät nicht mit

Flüssigkeiten behandelt werden. Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse mit einem feuchten Tuch.

 Die Luftaustrittsöffnungen können bei Verschmutzung mit einem Staubsauger abgesaugt

werden. Eine regelmäßige Reinigung ist notwendig für das Gut-Funktionieren des Gerätes.

UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2002/96/EG

Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the

safety and operating instructions.

CONNECTION TO THE MAINS SUPPLY

Caution: We cannot be held responsible for any damage due to the wrong use or the non-

observance of this instruction manual.

The convection heater should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in

accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the

voltage marked on the rating label.

This product complies with CE-directives.

MOUNTING

Before using the convection heater for the first time, the feet must be fitted to the base of the

unit and then secured with the screws provided (the assembly kit consists of two feet, two

screws and two washers). To do so, insert the feet on the hooks situated underneath the

appliance and fix them with a screw and a washer. When the appliance is correctly

assembled, it will be stable and ready for use. Never use the convection heater if the feet have

not been assembled.

OPERATION

After having installed your convection heater, insert the plug into an earthed power socket.

When the appliance is switched on for the first time, a slight smell may be emitted. Please

ensure sufficient ventilation. This smell will disappear very quickly.

The power selector allows you to choose the desired power. The higher the power, the faster

the heating will be.

The thermostat regulates the temperature in the room. A red pilot light will allow you to check

the thermostatic regulation. When the appliance is heating, this pilot light will be on. It will go

out when the desired temperature is reached.

Note: the metallic parts of this appliance become hot during use, so if you need to move the

appliance during use, please use the side handles.

OVERHEATING PROTECTION

This heater is protected with an overheating protection that switches off the appliance

automatically in case of overheating, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In

this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 10 minutes for it to cool and remove the object

that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should

operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.



CLEANING AND CARE

 Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has

cooled down completely.

 To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the heater with water and do not immerse

it. Clean the housing with a damp cloth.

 If necessary, dust particles accumulated in the air outlet openings may be removed with a

vacuum cleaner. This maintenance should be done regularly to assure the good

operation of the appliance.

PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and

electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the

implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the

rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted

municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing

INSTALLATION

Votre convecteur doit toujours être branché sur une prise équipée d’une borne de terre

MONTAGE DES PIEDS

Avant la première utilisation de votre convecteur, il est impératif d’assembler les deux pieds

fournis en kit (le kit se compose de deux pieds, deux vis et deux rondelles). Pour cela, enfoncez

les pieds sur les crochets situés en dessous de l’appareil. Ensuite, fixez chaque pied à l’aide

d’une vis et d’une rondelle. Une fois les pieds correctement assemblés, votre appareil est

stable et prêt à l’usage. Vous ne devez jamais utiliser votre convecteur si les pieds n’ont pas

été préalablement assemblés.

UTILISATION

Après avoir installé votre convecteur, branchez la fiche sur une prise de courant équipée

d’une borne de terre.

Lors de sa première mise en fonctionnement, votre appareil peut dégager une légère odeur.

Ceci est normal et prévoyez par conséquent une ventilation suffisante. Cette odeur ne sera

que provisoire et s’estompera rapidement.

Le commutateur rotatif vous permet de sélectionner la puissance désirée. Plus la puissance est

élevée et plus la vitesse de chauffe sera rapide.

Le thermostat quant à lui permet de réguler la température dans la pièce. Un voyant lumineux

de couleur rouge vous permettra de vérifier que la régulation thermostatique s’effectue

correctement. Pendant les temps de chauffe, ce voyant sera allumé puis s’éteindra lorsque la

température réglée est atteinte.

SECURITE THERMIQUE

Votre convecteur est doté d'une sécurité thermique, qui éteint automatiquement l'appareil en

cas de surchauffe liée par exemple à l’obstruction totale ou partielle des grilles.

Si cette sécurité thermique se déclenche, il est nécessaire de débrancher votre appareil

pendant une période d’au moins 10 minutes, de libérer les grilles et de recommencer la

procédure de mise en fonctionnement décrite au paragraphe précédent. Si le phénomène

persiste ou si l’appareil ne démarre plus, faîtes appel au service après-vente le plus proche de

votre domicile.

ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE

 Débranchez toujours la fiche de la prise de courant avant de nettoyer l'appareil.

 Pour éviter tout risque de décharge électrique, nettoyez votre appareil avec un chiffon

doux et humide mais ne l'immergez jamais dans l'eau ou quelque liquide que ce soit.

 Vous pouvez utiliser un aspirateur ou une brosse pour nettoyer les grilles de sortie d’air. Cet

entretien est à effectuer régulièrement pour garantir un fonctionnement convenable de

votre convecteur.

PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE

Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin de vie des appareils

électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien précises et nécessite

l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur. C’est pour cette raison que votre

appareil, tel que le signale le symbole apposé sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de

veiligheids- en de gebruiksvoorschriften.

Belangrijk: Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke, sensoriële of mentale

capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, het toestel niet veilig kunnen

 Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer u het toestel reinigt. Haal nooit de stekker uit

het stopcontact met natte handen.

 Gebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge plaats.

 Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen werden. Dit kan

gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het toestel beschadigen.

 Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat het elektriciteitssnoer

nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het

snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.

 Plaats het toestel niet vlak onder een stopcontact. Het stopcontact mag zich niet in de

warme luchtstroom van het toestel bevinden.

 Plaats het toestel altijd in een stand die geen mogelijkheid biedt voor het ontbranden van

brandbare materialen (bv. gordijnen). Zorg er altijd voor dat het apparaat stevig op zijn

basis geplaatst is. Zorg dat de luchtin- en -uitlaatopeningen van het apparaat niet

geblokkeerd zijn. Leg om brandgevaar te voorkomen nooit voorwerpen op de

verwarming zoals bv. kleren.

 Waarschuwing: Gebruik de verwarming niet in de buurt van badkuipen, douches,

wastafels, zwembaden en containers die water bevatten. Het moet onmogelijk zijn

toegang tot het toestel te hebben wanneer u in contact bent met water.

 Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme delen van het toestel.

 Wanneer het toestel in werking is, kunnen de roosters en de behuizing een zeer hoge

temperatuur bereiken.

 Gebruik het toestel nooit in de nabijheid van ontvlambare of explosieve stoffen.

 Stop nooit voorwerpen in het rooster of in de binnenkant van het apparaat.

INSTALLATIE VAN HET TOESTEL

Opgelet: wij kunnen niet aansprakelijk worden gehouden voor schade ten gevolge van een

slecht gebruik of van de niet-naleving van deze gebruiksaanwijzing.

De convector mag alleen aangesloten worden op een geaard stopcontact dat volgens de

wettelijke normen geïnstalleerd is. De op het typeplaatje aangegeven spanning moet

overeenkomen met de netspanning. Dit product komt overeen met de richtlijnen aangegeven

op het CE-label.

MONTEREN

Voordat u de convector voor de eerste keer gebruikt, moet u eerst de voeten aan de basis

monteren met de bijgeleverde schroeven (de montagekit bestaat uit twee voeten, twee

schroeven en twee schijfjes). Steek daartoe de voeten in de daartoe voorziene haken

onderaan het toestel. Bevestig dan elke voet met behulp van een schroef en een schijfje.

Zodra de voeten correct gemonteerd zijn, is het toestel stabiel en gebruiksklaar. Gebruik uw

convector nooit indien de voeten niet gemonteerd zijn.

GEBRUIK

Steek de stekker in een geaard stopcontact nadat u het toestel hebt geïnstalleerd.

Wanneer het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt aangezet, zal het een lichte geur afgeven.

Dit is perfect normaal, zorg dus voor voldoende ventilatie. Deze geur is slechts tijdelijk en zal

snel verdwijnen.

De draaiknop maakt het mogelijk het gewenste vermogen te kiezen. Hoe hoger het

vermogen, hoe sneller de kamer opgewarmd wordt.

De thermostaat regelt de temperatuur in de kamer. Een rood controlelampje duidt de regeling

van de thermostaat aan. Wanneer het toestel opwarmt, brandt het controlelampje. Zodra de

gewenste temperatuur bereikt is, gaat het controlelampje uit.

Opmerking: de metalen onderdelen van het toestel worden tijdens het gebruik heel warm.

Indien u het toestel tijdens het gebruik wenst te verplaatsen, maak dan gebruik van de

handvaten aan de zijkanten.

BEVEILIGING TEGEN OVERVERHITTING

Het apparaat is beveiligd tegen oververhitting en schakelt zich automatisch uit, mocht het

oververhitten, bijvoorbeeld omdat de roosters verstopt zijn. Indien dit gebeurt, de stekker uit

het stopcontact verwijderen, het apparaat 10 minuten laten afkoelen en het voorwerp dat de

roosters verstopt verwijderen. U kunt het apparaat dan weer gebruiken door het aan te

schakelen zoals hierboven beschreven. Indien het probleem voortduurt, neem dan contact op

met de dichtstbijzijnde klantendienst.



REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

 Trek altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat geheel afkoelen vooraleer

u het schoonmaakt.

 Maak om elektrische schokken te voorkomen het apparaat nooit schoon met water en

dompel het nooit onder in water of enige andere vloeistof. Reinig de behuizing met een

licht vochtige doek.

 Wanneer nodig mogen stofdeeltjes in de luchtuitlaatopeningen met een stofzuiger

verwijderd worden. Een regelmatig onderhoud is noodzakelijk voor de goede werking van

het toestel.

MILIEUBESCHERMING – RICHTLIJN 2002/96/EG

Om ons milieu en onze gezondheid te beschermen, moet afgedankte elektrische en

elektronische apparatuur in overeenstemming met welbepaalde regels weggegooid worden.

Dit vergt zowel de inzet van de leveranciers als van de gebruikers. Om deze reden mag uw

apparaat, zoals op het typeplaatje of op de verpakking aangegeven door het symbool ,

niet met het gewone huisvuil weggegooid worden. De gebruiker heeft het recht het toestel

naar een gemeentelijk centrum van gescheiden inzameling te brengen waar het

CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD

Lea detenidamente el modo de empleo antes de utilizar el aparato, y siempre siga las

medidas de seguridad y el modo de funcionamiento.

Importante: Las personas (incluidos niños) con incapacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales, o

sin experiencia o conocimiento nunca deben utilizar el aparato, salvo si están bajo la

vigilancia de una persona responsable de su seguridad o si recibieron previamente

instrucciones con respecto al uso seguro del aparato.

Es necesario vigilar a los niños para que no jueguen con el aparato.

 Antes de utilizar el aparato, compruebe que el voltaje de la red eléctrica coincide con el

 No sumerja nunca el aparato en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido ni para su limpieza ni

“Limpieza y mantenimiento” exclusivamente ya que la penetración de agua por las

rejillas de salida de arie puede averir completamente su aparato.

 No utilice el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor.

 La clavija eléctrica debe ser desenchufada antes de limpiar el aparato o cuando no lo

utilice. No desenchufe nunca el aparato con las manos mojadas.

 Procure no utilizar el aparato en el exterior y colóquelo en un sitio seco.

 No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante, ello puede entrañar un riesgo

para el usuario y puede dañar el aparato.

 No mueva nunca el aparato estirando del cable. Procure que el cable no se enganche

en algún saliente, a fin de evitar posibles caídas del mismo. Evite enrollar el cable

alrededor del aparato y no lo tuerza.

 Separe el aparato, un mínimo de un metro, de combustibles, cortinas, muebles…etc.

 Coloque el radiador de forma que los materiales inflamables (tales como las cortina) no

se encuentren en contacto con el aparato. Compruebe su posición estable así como

que los orificios de salida y entrada de are no estén obstruidos. NO CUBRA NUNCA SU

APARATO.

 Atención: No usar en zonas húmedas, como el bafio, piscina, etc. Mas en general no

toque los mandos de su aparato si sus manos están húmedas o si se encuentra en

contacto con agua.

 No deje que el cable de alimentación toque las partes calientes del aparato.

 No ponga ropa o toallas encima.

 El cable de la estufa debe estas siempre detrás de ella.

 No deje que ningún objeto penetre por la rejilla.

INSTALACION

Advertencia: Rehusamos toda responsabilidad por los daños debidos a una utilización errónea

o a la falta de respeto de las instrucciones para el empleo.

Conecte siempre su convector en un enchufe con toma de tierra conforme con las normas

vigentes.

Asegúrese de que la tensión eléctrica corresponda a la tensión indicada en la placa descriptiva

de su aparato.

Este aparato cumple las medidas de seguridad CE.

MONTAJE DE LOS PIES

Antes de la primera utilización de su convector, el pie debe ser sujetado a la base del mismo y

asegurado con tornillos (el kit de montaje incluye 2 pies, 2 tornillos y 2 juntas de arandela).

Para haccelo, encaje éstos últimos en los ganchillos situados debajo del aparato y fíjelos con

tornillo y arandela. En cuanto los pies sean correctamente juntados, su aparato se encuentra

estable y listo para el uso. Nunca utilice su convector si los pies no han sido juntados

previamente.

UTIILIZACION

Después de haber instalado su convector, conéctelo en un enchufe con toma de tierra.

La primera vez que se enchufe, su aparato puede desprender un ligero olor. Esto es normal

por lo que prevea una ventilación suficiente. Este olor será ocasional y desaparecerá

rápidamente.

El botón rotativo le permite elegir la potencia deseada con arreglo a sus necesidades.

Cuanto más elevada es la potencia, más rápida será la velocidad de caldeo.

Por su parte, el termostato permite regular la temperatura en la habitación. Un testigo

luminoso de color rojo le permitirá comprobar que la regulación del termostato se realice

correctamente. Durante los períodos de caldeo, dicho testigo luminoso se quedará

encendido y después se apagará una vez alcanzada la temperatura regulada.

Noticia: las partes metálicas se ponen calientes cuando funciona el aparato y si es necesario

desplazar el aparato durante su uso, utilice las agarradoras situadas en sus lados.

PROTECCIÓN CONTRA SOBRECALENTAMIENTO

Este aparato va equipado con un sistema de protección contra sobrecalentamientos, que

para el aparato en caso de sobrecalentamiento debido por ejemplo a la obstrucción

completa de las rejas.

Si le ocurre esto, desenchufe el aparato, destape las rejas y espere 10 minutos antes de

ponerlo de nuevo en marcha. Ello basta para desbloquear el sistema de protección.

El aparato funciona de nuevo correctamente.

Si el problema continua, diríjase al servicio post-venta mas próximo.



LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

 Antes de efectuar su limpieza desenchufe el aparato.

 Para limpiar las superficies de plástico utilizar únicamente un paño humedecido; no

sumergir jamás el ventilador en agua o en cualquier otro líquido.

 Para una limpieza mas completa de las rejillas, utilizar un aspirador.

Para poder preservar nuestro medio ambiente y proteger la salud humana, los residuos

eléctricos y equipos electrónicos deberían ser destruidos de acuerdo con unas normas

especificas con la implicación de ambos proveedores y consumidores. Por esta razón, como

indica el símbolo en la placa de datos técnicos, su aparato no debería ser tirado en un

contenedor municipal sino que debería ser devuelto a la tienda, o dejado en un punto de

PARA A SUA SEGURANÇA

Antes de utilizar o aparelho leia com sentido de responsabilidade as instruções de

funcionamento e respeite sempre as orientações de segurança e de utilização dadas no

manual das instruções.

Importante: As pessoas (incluídas as crianças) com incapacidades físicas, sensoriais ou

mentais, ou sem experiência ou conhecimento não devem utilizar o aparelho excepto se

estiverem a ser vigiadas por uma pessoa responsável pela sua segurança ou se receberam

previamente instruções relativas ao uso seguro do aparelho.

Convém vigiar as crianças para que elas não brinquem com o aparelho.

 Antes de ligar a ficha do cabo da alimentação à tomada eléctrica certifique-se que a

corrente eléctrica tem a potência igual à indicada na placa sinalética do aparelho.

 Mantenha o aparelho sob vigilância quando em funcionamento.

 Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em liquidos seja para limpar ou com outras finalidades.

 O aparelho nunca deve funcionar com o cabo de alimentação danificado. Quando o

cabo se encontra danificado tem de ser substituído por técnicos competentes

 O aparelho destina-se ao uso domestico e tem de respeitar as instruções de utilização.

 Limpe o aparelho seguindo as instruções “Manutenção e limpeza” acima de tudo no

cuidado que a ter para evitar a entrada de água nas grelhas de entrada e saída do ar já

que daí resultarão problemas para o aparelho e riscos de segurança. O aparelho tem de

funcionar sem humidade.

 Não ponha o aparelho próximo de fontes de calor.

 O aparelho ao ser limpo tem de ter o cabo de alimentação retirado da tomada

fornecedora da corrente eléctrica. Nunca retire o cabo da alimentação da tomada

com as mãos húmidas.

 O aparelho não deve ser utilizado fora de casa e deve ser guardado em locais secos.

 Use sempre os acessórios recomendados pelo fabricante.

 Não retire o cabo de alimentação da tomada puxando pelo mesmo pois danifica o

aparelho e pode provocar a queda do aparelho. Verifique se o cabo não se encontra

preso em alguma coisa. Nunca enrole o cabo à volta do aparelho.

 Utilize o aparelho exclusivamente para o fim a que se destina.

 Não ligue o aparelho em tomadas que estejam ligadas á tomada principal fornecedora

de corrente eléctrica.

 Posicione sempre o calorífico de modo que materiais inflamáveis não venham a

inflamar-se. Certifique-se sempre se a unidade está posicionada de forma sólida sobre os

seus pés da base. Certifique-se que o aparelho está bem montado e fixo e que as

entradas e saídas do ar estão livres. NUNCA CUBRA O APARELHO.

 Coloque o aparelho, no minimo a um metro de matérias carborantes.

 Attenção: Nunca ponha o aparelho em lugares onde exista liquidos, casa de banho,

piscinas, etc. Nunca toque no aparelho após ter mexido em água. Com as mãos

húmidas nunca toque no aparelho.

 Tenha cuidado para que o cabo da alimentação não toque as partes quentes do

 Nunca tape o aparelho ou coloque objectos em cima.

INSTALAÇÃO

Atenção: Declinamos qualquer responsabilidade nas anomalias com origem em problemas

resultantes por má utilização ou não cumprimento das regras de utilização.

O cabo de alimentação do convector tem de estar sempre ligado a uma tomada com fio

terra, cumprindo as normas em vigor.

A tensão de alimentação em utilização tem de ser igual à indicada na placa sinalética do

aparelho.

O aparelho cumpre as directivas comunitárias à aposição da marca CE.

MONTAGEM DOS PÉS

Antes de utilizar o aparelho, coloque os pés nas saliências por baixo do convector (o kit de

montagem consiste de dois pés, dois parafusos e duas arruelas). Para fazer isso, insira os pés

nos ganchos situados por baixo do aparelho e corrigi-los com um parafuso e uma arruela.

Assim o aparelho fica estável e pronto a ser utilizado. Nunca utilize o aparelho sem os pés

montados.

UTILIZAÇÃO

Após a instalação do aparelho, ligue o cabo da alimentação à tomada com fio terra.

Na primeira utilização, tenha o local bem arejado, pois o aparelho pode libertar cheiros que

rapidamente desaparecerão.

Com a ajuda do comutador pode escolher a temperatura desejada. Quanto maior for a

temperatura mais rápido é o aquecimento da divisão onde se encontra instalado o aparelho.

O termostato perimte manter a temperatura escolhida. O sinalizador de cor vermelha permite

confirmar a regulação da temperatura. Durante o funcionamento o sinalizador apaga-se e

acende-se para conservar a temperatura escolhida para a divisão.

Para que o aparelho volte a funcionar, tem de desobstruir as grelhas e retirar o cabo da

alimentação da tomada eléctrica durante cerca de 10 minutos.

Caso se mantenha a anomalia e o aparelho não funcionar, procure o apoio técnico.

MANUTENÇÃO E LIMPEZA

 Retire sempre, em qualquer operação de manutenção ou limpeza, o cabo da

alimentação da tomada eléctrica.

 Evite as descargas eléctricas, limpando o aparelho com um pano húmido e nunca

mergulhe o aparelho em liquidos. Mantenha sempre o aparelho bem seco.

 As grelhas para a saida do ar podem ser limpas com a ponteira do aspirador. Este

procedimento tem de ser feito com regularidade.

PROTECÇÃO DO MEIO AMBIENTE – DIRECTIVA 2002/96/CE

Para a preservação do ambiente e da nossa saúde, a eliminação no fim da vida útil dos

aparelhos eléctricos e electrónicos, deve-se efectuar no cumprimento das legislações em

vigor e pela participação de todos quer sejam produtores ou utilizadores. É por esta razão

que o vosso aparelho tem na placa sinalética o simbolo , informando que em caso

algum o aparelho deve ser colocado no caixote do lixo camarário ou privado para que não

AVVERTENZE

Vi invitiamo a leggere attentamente le istruzioni prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, e vi

preghiamo di seguire sempre attentamente le istruzioni di sicurezza e di utilizzo.

Importante: Le persone (inclusi i bambini) che non sono capaci di utilizzare l’apparecchio, sia

per incapacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali, sia per mancanza di esperienza o di conoscenze,

 Verificare regolarmente che il cavo non sia danneggiato. Non attivare l’apparecchio se il

cavo o l’apparecchio stesso mostrasse qualsiasi danneggiamento. Le riparazioni devono

 Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua o in qualsiasi altro liquido, né per pulirlo né

per qualsiasi altra ragione. Durante la pulizia, seguite assolutamente le istruzioni del

paragrafo “Pulizia e manutenzione” perché il penetrare dell’acqua nelle griglie d’uscita

d’aria puo danneggiare l’apparecchio.

 Non usare l’apparecchio nella prossimità di sorgenti di calore.

 Togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di pulire l’apparecchio.

 Non usare l’apparecchio all'aperto e sistemarlo in un posto asciutto.

 Non utilizzare accessori non consigliati dal fabbricante. Può essere pericoloso per l’utente

e danneggiare l’apparecchio.

 Non tirare il cavo per spostare l’apparecchio. Assicurarsi che il cavo elettrico non possa

impigliarsi per evitare una caduta dell’apparecchio. Non avvolgere il cavo intorno

all’apparecchio e non storcerlo.

 Posizionare l’apparecchio su di un tavolo o un supporto abbastanza stabile perché non

cada.

 Togliere la spina dalla presa di corrente dopo del uso.

 Il vostro apparecchio non deve essere posizionato sotto una presa di corrente,

precisamente la presa di corrente non si deve trovare nel flusso d’aria calda.

 Posizionare la stufa lontano da altre fonti di calore, da materiali infiammabili (tende,

tappezzerie, ecc.), da gas infiammabili o materiale esplosivo e da materiali che possono

deformarsi con il calore. Assicurarsi che la griglia non possa ostruirsi con oggetti, tessuti o

altro per evitare il surriscaldamento o la rottura dell’apparecchio. Non coprire

l’apparecchio per evitare rischi d’incendio.

 Avvertenza: Non utilizzare l’ apparecchio nelle immediate vicinanze di una vasca da

bagno, di una doccia o di una piscina per evitare scosse elettriche, e in luoghi dove non

possa subire urti. In generale, non dovrà essere possibile d’accedere ai commandi del

vostro apparecchio mentre siete in contatto con l’acqua.

 Tenere il cavo elettrico a debita distanza dalle parti calde dell’apparecchio.

 La scatola e la griglia d’uscita d’aria calda durante il funzionamento: Evitate il contatto

diretto con la pelle.

 Assicurarsi che l’apparecchio non entri in contatto con materiali facilmente infiammabili.

 Non mettere le dita, delle matite o altri oggetti nella griglia.

INSTALAZIONE

Il vostro convettore deve essere sempre collegato a una pressa con collegamento a terra

conforme ai normi in vigore.

Assicuratevi que la tensione di alimentazione corrisponde a la tensione indicata nella nota

MONTAGGIO DEI PIEDI

Prima di utilizzare il riscaldamento a convezione per la prima volta, i piedini devono essere

montati alla base dell'unità e fissati con le viti in dotazione (kit di montaggio è costituito da due

piedi, due viti e due rondelle). Per fare ciò, inserire i piedi sul gancio situato sotto l’apparecchio

e fissarlo con una vite e una rondella. Quando l'apparecchio è montato correttamente, sarà

stabile e pronto all'uso. Non usare mai il convettore se i piedi non sono stati assemblati.

UTILIZZO

Dopo aver istallato il vostro convettore, collegate la spina a une presa di corrente a terra.

Durante il suo primo impiego, il vostro apparecchio puo rilasciare un leggero odore. Questo è

normale e di consequenza assicuriate una ventilazzione sufficiente. L’ odore sarà provisorio e

si estomperà rapidamente.

Il commutatore rotativo vi permeterà di selezionare la potenza desiderata. Più la potenza è

elevata e più la velocità del calore sarà rapida.

In quanto al termostato, lui permette di regolare la temperatura nella stanza.

Il segnalatore luminoso si accende quando l’apparecchio è in funzione. Durante il

riscaldamento, il segnale resterà acceso per poi spegnersi quando si raggiunge la

temperatura desiderata.

Nota: le parti metalliche diventano calde durante l’uso. Se volete spostare l’apparecchio

durante l’impiego usate le manilie situate sui lati.

PROTEZIONE CONTRO IL SURRISCALDAMENTO

Questo apparecchio è dotato di un sistema di protezione contro il surriscaldamento che

arresta automaticamente l'apparecchio in caso di surriscaldamento dovuto per esempio a

l’ostruzione totale o parziale delle griglie. Se si verifica questo, spegnere l'apparecchio.

Attendere 10 minuti, liberate le griglie e ricominciate la procedura di messa in funzione

descritta al paragrafo precedente. Questa operazione è sufficiente per interrompere il sistema



di protezione. Se il fenomeno persiste o l’apparecchio non demarra, rivolgetevi al servizio

dopo vendita il più vicino al vostro domicilio.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

 Prima di pulire l’apparecchio spegnerlo, disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente ed

attendere che si sia raffreddato.

 Per la pulizia del corpo utilizzare un panno morbido leggermente umido per evitare rischi

di scariche elettriche. Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua o in qualsiasi altro

liquido.

 Per la pulizia della griglia impiegare eventualmente l’aspirapolvere o una spazzola

facendo attenzione a non danneggiarle. Questo mantenimento si deve effettuare

regolarmente per garantire un bon funzionamento del vostro apparecchio.

DIRETTIVA 2002/96/CE SULLO SMALTIMENTO DI APPARECCHI ELETTRICI ED ELETTRONICI

Per preservare l'ambiente e la nostra salute, l'eliminazione dei vecchi apparecchi elettrici ed

elettronici non più utilizzati, va fatta secondo la direttiva sopra citata che impone l'obbligo al

costruttore, al commerciante e all’utilizzatore di consegnare gli apparecchi ai centri di

raccolta specializzati, i quali saranno in grado di smaltire e riciclare i vecchi prodotti come la

legge prescrive.

Per questa ragione troverete apposto sull’etichetta segnaletica il simbolo che indica di

non gettare il vecchio apparecchio non più utilizzato, in pattumiera o nel cassonetto delle

immondizie.

Per eliminare il vecchio apparecchio non più utilizzato, potete consegnarlo al rivenditore il

cambio di quello nuovo acquistato, o direttamente nei centri di raccolta specializzati messi a

disposizione dal vostro comune di residenza.


