Language
here you can select your preferred display language. In the language screen select
the preferred country flag representing the language. After you selected a new
language, the system will reboot to enable all text entries in that language.
Sound EQ
WAP-R8900 contains a 5-channel equalizer for sound control.
You can activate/deactivate the equalizer function by the OK button in the sound
control screen.
By “^“=UP and “v“=DOWN buttons, you can
select one of the 7 frequency bands to
control 60-250-1000-4000-12000 Hz. By the
“<<“=LEFT and “>>“=RIGHT buttons, you
can change the level in the selected
frequency band by up to +/- 12 dB. This
allows to tune the playback sound according
to the source or your individual listening
taste.
The speaker system of your WAP-R8900 is
tuned to achieve a sound quality with
minimum coloration. The built-in bass reflex
system enhances the sound at low
frequencies in spite of compact cabinet dimensions.
Sleep
Select between Off- and 30-60-90 minutes.
Startup
here you can chose a start position, where you always like to start operation of your
WAP-R8900 after power-on. Select from Mainscreen-Previous playback-
Audioserver – USB/SD-Disk – FM radio – Internetradio – Clock. The next time when
WAP-R8900 is switched on, it will start in the selected function's screen.
Backlight
here you have a choice between automatic contrast or fixed LCD brightness.
The automatic contrast is controlled by a sensor on top of the unit, to detect the
environmental light and drive the LCD backlight accordingly to achieve a useful
display brightness. When the environmental light is drastically changed, you can see
how the LCD brightness follows the environmental light conditions. This can achieve
glare-free reading even in a dark room.
In case you prefer individual brightness settings, you can set your desired LCD
brightness manually.
Note: If you select individual LCD brightness, this is a fixed brightness, no more
controlled by the light sensor!
