How do I wear my pedometer
1. Securely attach the pedometer to your belt, on your hip
using the pedometer belt clip.
2. Make sure the pedometer is level not tilted.
3. Do not place the pedometer in your pocket. It will not give
you accurate results if you do.
How to use the radio correctly
Reception may vary due to the region, the surrounding environment, time of day and other factors,
but such changes do not indicate any malfunction in the equipment.
Signal may be weakened inside buildings (particularly steel-reinforced concrete) and vehicles,
making it difficult to hear the radio. Listen near a window or in a position with a strong signal to hear
better.
Radio reception is impossible in tunnels or underground arcades, etc.
Do not listen for long periods at volume levels that strain the ears, as such listening can
permanently impair your hearing.
Usage 1. Fitting and replacing batteries
1. Open the front and back case by pulling up on the pull
tab.
The battery cover cannot be removed while they are closed.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Insert the battery.
If you are replacing the battery, use a rigid pointed
implement, etc. to take the old battery out.
Fit the radio battery (CR2032) and the pedometer battery
(LR43) with the + sides uppermost.
4. Fit the battery cover.
* Press the cover until it clicks.
Caution
Orient the batteries (+ and - sides) correctly.

Notice
This product uses separate batteries for the radio and the pedometer.
The radio battery has a service lifespan of approximately 35 hours. When it is running low, the
battery indicator [ ] is replaced by [ ]. Replace it with a new battery (CR2032).
* Unplug the earphone when you are not using the radio. The battery will run down if the earphone
is left plugged in.
When the pedometer battery runs down, the display will fade or disappear. Replace the battery
promptly with a new LR43.
* When the pedometer battery runs down, the radio is also disabled. It will be usable again once
the LR43 pedometer battery is replaced.
Usage 2. Initial settings
[1] Set the clock: Set the current time.
1. When the battery is inserted, the clock display flashes.
2. Press the [] Display Mode button to set the time.
* Press continuously to move forward in increments of 30 minutes.
3. Press the [] Set button to finalize the setting.
[2] Set stride length: The setting range is 20 - 150cm (2-60 in inches).
1. After the time is set, the stride width display flashes.
2. Press the [] Display Mode button to set the stride length.
* Press continuously to advance the setting rapidly.
3. Press the [] Set button to finalize the setting.
4. Once the display reverts to the clock, the setting is complete.
The key to accurate distance measurement is
determining your correct stride. To calculate the average
stride accurately, walk ten steps and divide the total
distance by 10. The result is your average stride. For
higher accuracy, you are recommended to repeat this
measurement several times.

Usage 3. Changing setting content
Press the [] Set button for one second or more.
Usage 4. Switching the display
The display mode changes every time the [] Display
Mode button is pressed.
Usage 5. Clearing the display
The number of steps and the distance can be set to zero
by pressing the Clear button.
Steps and distance are reset to zero when the [ ] Clear button
is pressed.
* Clock display does not change.
Notice
Once the values for steps and distance have been cleared, they
cannot be restored.
Usage 6. Clearing the system
Clear the system when you want to erase all set data, or when the display
becomes irregular or the buttons do not function.
1. Open the front and back cases.
* The battery cover cannot be removed while they are closed.
2. Remove the battery cover.
3. Press the Clear button.
* Use a rigid stick with a slim tip to press the button.
4. Fit the battery cover.
Notice
After a system clearance, all values (Time, Stride Length, Steps, Distance) are zeroed and cannot
be restored.

Usage 7. Listening to the radio
[1] Listening to the radio
1. Inserting the earphone into the jack in the
body switches the radio on.
2. Put the earphone in your ear.
Turn the Volume dial in the Up direction to hear
the radio.
The Radio indicator [ ] and the Battery mark
[ ] appears.
Notice
After one hour, the radio switches automatically to energy-saving, becoming inaudible. The Radio
indicator [ ] starts flashing. To go on listening to the radio, press the Mode button.
Caution
If your ear is abnormally affected by the earphone, immediately stop using it and consult a doctor.
[2] Tuning to a radio station
Press the Scan button to tune the radio to the station you want.
Notice
The available radio frequency range is 88 - 108MHz.
Station does not display on unit.
Press the RESET button to return the radio frequency to the beginning.
Reception may vary due to the region, the surrounding environment, time of day and other factors.
[3] Adjust volume
Turn the Volume dial to adjust the volume.
Caution
Do not listen for long periods at volume levels that strain the ears, as
such listening can permanently impair your hearing.
[4] Turn off the radio power
Pull the earphone out of the jack in the body.
Turn the volume dial to the Off position.
Notice
Unplug the earphone when you are not using the radio. The battery will
run down if the earphone is left plugged in.

Troubleshooting
Can't hear the radio
Product specifications
* It is not possible to switch between centimeter and inch versions.
Check Solution
Is the Radio indicator on the display flashing? After one hour, the radio switches automatically to
energy-saving, becoming inaudible. To go on
listening to the radio, press the Mode button.
Is the battery run down? Check the Battery Life indicator on the display. If it
shows [ ], the battery has run down.
Replace it promptly with a new CR2032 battery.
Is the display faint? If the display is faint, it means the pedometer
battery (LR43) has run down. When that battery
runs down, the radio is also disabled. Replace it
promptly with a new LR43 battery.
Are you in a place with poor radio reception? The signal may become weak and inaudible in
buildings and vehicles. Move to another place to
listen.
Is the earphone inserted fully into the jack? Insert the earphone into the jack again.

Wie trage ich den Schrittmesser?
1. Befestigen Sie den Schrittmesser in Hüfthöhe mit Hilfe
der Gurtklammer am Gürtel.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Schrittmesser gerade
sitzt und nicht schräg angebracht ist.
3. Stecken Sie den Schrittmesser nicht in Ihre Tasche.
Andernfalls sind die Ergebnisse ungenau.
Korrekte Verwendung des Radios
Der Empfang kann je nach Region, Umgebung, Tageszeit und sonstigen Faktoren variieren –
eventuelle Abweichungen bedeuten jedoch nicht, dass eine Störung beim Gerät vorliegt.
In Gebäuden (insbesondere bei Stahlbetonbauten) und Fahrzeugen wird das Signal
möglicherweise schwächer empfangen. Dies kann bedeuten, dass ein Radioempfang nur schwer
möglich ist. Wenn Sie die Audioqualität verbessern möchten, stellen Sie sich an ein Fenster oder
an einen Ort, an dem das Signal stärker ist.
In Tunneln, U-Bahnhallen oder an ähnlichen Orten ist kein Radioempfang möglich.
Hören Sie die Musik nicht über längere Zeit in einer Lautstärke, die eine Belastung für das Gehör
darstellt. Andernfalls kann Ihr Hörvermögen dauerhaft geschädigt werden.
Verwendungshinweis 1. Einsetzen und Austauschen der Batterien
1. Öffnen Sie das Gehäuse, indem Sie die Zuglasche nach
oben ziehen.
Der Deckel des Batteriefachs kann nicht abgenommen
werden, wenn die Gehäuse geschlossen sind.
2. Nehmen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs ab.
3. Setzen Sie die Batterie ein.
Verwenden Sie beim Austausch der Batterie ein starres,
spitzes Werkzeug oder einen ähnlichen Gegenstand, um
die alte Batterie zu entnehmen.
Setzen Sie die Radio-Batterie (CR2032) und die
Schrittmesser-Batterie (LR43) mit den Pluszeichen (+)
nach oben ein.
4. Setzen Sie den Deckel des Batteriefachs wieder auf das
Gerät.
* Drücken Sie den Deckel nach unten, bis er mit einem
Klick einrastet.
Achtung
Die Batterien müssen unbedingt korrekt eingesetzt werden (richtige Ausrichtung der Plus- und
Minuspole).

1. Abra as partes dianteira e traseira.
* Não poderá abrir a tampa do compartimento das pilhas enquanto estiverem fechadas.
2. Retire a tampa do compartimento das pilhas.
3. Prima o botão para limpar.
* Utilize um item rígido com uma ponta fina para premir o botão.
4. Coloque a tampa do compartimento das pilhas.
Nota
Depois de o sistema ser limpo, todos os valores (tempo, comprimento do passo, passos, distância)
ficam a zero e não podem ser recuperados.
