• Press the UP or DOWN button.
• Confirm the setting with the SET button.
7.3 Setting of the alarm
• Press and hold the ALARM button in normal mode for three seconds.
• AL and 0:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time appear on the display.
• The hour digits will be flashing.
• Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the hours.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button and set minutes in the same way.
• The minute digit will be flashing. Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the
minutes.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• The display shows the current time.
• To activate and deactivate the alarm function press the ALARM button in normal
mode.
• The alarm symbol or no alarm symbol appears on the display.
• When the adjusted alarm time is reached, the alarm will ring.
• The alarm symbol will be flashing.
• Press any button and the alarm function will stop working.
• If the alarm is not stopped manually, the increasing alarm will automatically turn
off after certain minutes and will be reactivated at the same time.
• The alarm symbol stays in the display.
• When the alarm rings, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button and the snooze function
will be activated.
• Once the snooze function is activated, and the alarm symbol will be flashing
on the display.
• The alarm will be interrupted for 5 minutes.

• To turn off the snooze function press the ALARM button.
• The snooze symbol disappears on the display.
7.4 Backlight
• Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the backlight for a few seconds.
7.5 Temperature display
• Press the DOWN button to change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as
temperature unit.
8. Care and maintenance
• Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring
agents.
• Remove the battery if you do not use the product for a long period of time.
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
8.1 Battery replacement
• Change the battery when the battery symbol appears on the display.
• Open the battery compartment and insert a new battery 1,5 V AA. Ensure that
the battery polarity is correct.
• Close the battery compartment again.
