Mit diesem Einstichthermometer haben Sie ein elektronisches Präzisions-
gerät zur Ermittlung der momentanen Temperatur sowie der Höchst- und
Tiefsttemperatur gekauft.

Bedienung:
• Drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste..
• Das Display zeigt die momentan gemessene Temperatur an. Der Sensor
befindet sich in der Sondenspitze. Mit der °C/°F-Taste können Sie zwi-
schen °C und °F als Maßeinheit für die Temperatur wählen.
• Drücken Sie die Mode-Taste im Normalmodus, wird die gemessene Tem-
peratur festgehalten (Anzeige Symbol HOLD).
• Durch erneutes Drücken der Mode-Taste erscheint die maximale Tempe-
ratur seit der letzten Rückstellung (Anzeige MAX).
• Drücken Sie noch einmal die Mode-Taste, erscheint die minimale Tempe-
ratur seit der letzten Rückstellung (Anzeige MIN).
• Mit einem weiteren Mode-Tastendruck kehren Sie zurück in den Nor-
malmodus.
• Zur Löschung der gespeicherten maximalen und minimalen Werte halten
Sie die Mode-Taste für 3 Sekunden im entsprechenden Modus gedrückt,
während MAX bzw. MIN angezeigt wird (Anzeige ---). Mit der Mode-
Taste kehren Sie zurück in den Normalmodus.
Batteriewechsel:
• Tauschen Sie die Batterie aus, wenn die Anzeige schwächer wird.
• Verwenden Sie Alkaline Batterien. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Batteri-
en polrichtig eingelegt sind. Schwache Batterien sollten möglichst schnell
ausgetauscht werden, um ein Auslaufen der Batterien zu vermeiden. Bat-
terien enthalten gesundheitsschädliche Säuren. Beim Hantieren mit aus-
gelaufenen Batterien beschichtete Handschuhe und Schutzbrille tragen!
Achtung:
Bitte entsorgen Sie Altgeräte und leere Batterien nicht über den Haus-
müll. Geben Sie diese bitte zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Han-
del oder entsprechenden Sammelstellen gemäß nationaler oder lokaler
Bestimmungen ab.
Instandhaltung:
• Bewahren Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Platz auf.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und
Erschütterungen aus.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine
Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!
• Bitte führen sie eine Neuinbetriebnahme durch, wenn das Gerät nicht
einwandfrei funktioniert. Tauschen Sie die Batterie aus.

With this probe thermometer you have bought an electronic precision device
for measuring the current temperature as well as the maximum and mini-
mum temperature.

Use:
• Turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF-key once.
• The display shows the currently measured temperature. The sensor is
located in the point of the probe. The temperature unit can be changed
from °C to °F by the °C/°F-key.
• Press the MODE-button once in normal mode and the hold-function is
activated (indicated by HOLD).
• Press the MODE-button again and the maximum temperature is shown
since the last reset (indicated by MAX).
• Press the MODE-button again and the minimum temperature is shown
since the last reset (indicated by MIN).
• Press the MODE-button again to return to normal mode.
• To clear the maximum and minimum memory, press and hold the MODE-
button for 3 seconds in the corresponding mode while MAX or MIN is dis-
played (indicated by ---). Press the MODE-button again to return to nor-
mal mode.
Battery replacement:
• Replace the battery when the display becomes weak.
• Use alkaline batteries only. Observe correct polarity. Low batteries should
be changed soon to avoid the damage resulting from a leaking battery.
Batteries contain harmful acids. Wear protective glasses and gloves when
handling with leaked batteries.
Attention:
Please do not dispose of old electronic devices and used batteries in
household waste. To protect the environment, take them to your retail
store or to appropriate collection sites according to national or local reg-
ulations.
Maintenance:
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.
• Do not expose the instrument to extreme temperatures, vibration or
shock.
• Clean it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Please reset the instrument and follow the battery installation procedure
if the unit does not work properly. Change the battery.

Utilisation:
• Ce thermomètre à sonde est un instrument électronique de précision
pour mesurer la température momentanée, minimale et maximale.
• L´affichage vous indique la température momentanée. Le palpeur se
trouve à la pointe de la sonde. En pressant la touche °C/°F l´affichage de
la température peut être ajusté en °C ou en °F.
• En pressant la touche MODE dans le mode normal la température mesu-
rée est retenue (affichage HOLD).
• En pressant encore une fois la touche MODE la dernière température
maximale apparaît (affichage MAX).
• En pressant encore une fois la touche MODE la dernière température
minimale apparaît (affichage MIN).

En pressant la touche MODE encore une fois vous retournez dans le mode normal.
• Pour effacer la mémoire max/min presser la touche MODE pour 3
secondes dans le mode correspondant, en même temps MAX ou MIN est

Remplacement de batterie:
• Veuillez échanger la batterie si l’affichage deviennent faibles.
• Utiliser des batteries alcalines. S'assurer que les batteries soient intro-
duites avec la bonne polarisation. Les batteries faibles doivent être chan-
gées le plus rapidement possible, afin d'éviter une fuite des batteries. Les
batteries contiennent des acides nocifs pour la santé. Pour manipuler des
batteries qui ont coulé, utiliser des gants spécialement adaptés et porter
des lunettes de protection !
Attention:
Les vieux appareils électroniques et piles usagées ne doivent pas être
jetées dans les détritus ménagers. Veuillez les rendre dans un site appro-
prié de récupération pour les enlever sous des conditions de milieu ou
chez votre revendeur selon les spécifications nationales et locales.
Entretien:
• Conserver l’appareil dans un endroit sec.
