1. ATTENTION: Listening to loud music, especially over a prolonged period of time, can
permanently damage the user’s hearing. Ensure that the volume is set to an audible
yet comfortable level.
2. Remove the battery from the MP3 player when it is not in use for a prolonged period
of time. This will prevent any damage caused by leakage or erosion of the battery.
3. Do not expose this device to extreme cold, dust or water.
4. Ensure that the player is unlocked before use.
5. Avoid dropping or heavy impacting of the device, especially against hard objects. This
could cause surface, battery or hardware damage.
6. Replace the battery in the following circumstances:
a) The battery indicator on the LCD display is showing “Empty Battery”.
b) The device shuts OFF automatically.
c) The buttons make no response, even after removing and reinstalling the same
battery.
7. To prevent static, do not use the device in a particularly dry environment.
8. Do not disconnect the device while it is being formatted or during uploading/
downloading files. This could cause damage to the hardware

● Press and hold the PLAY key for 2 seconds to turn the power ON. The LCD screen
will display the backlight.
● While the player is under stop mode, press and hold the PLAY key to turn it OFF.
GENERAL USE
Turning the player ON/OFF
Note: Some music files may be encoded with DRM (Digital Rights Management). This
MP3 player cannot play DRM encoded files.
● Under stop mode, press the PLAY key to play music.
● Press the FW or FF key to play the last or next file.
● Press the FW or FF key to fast reverse or fast forward the current file under pause or
stop mode.
● Under playing mode, press the PLAY key to pause playing or press and hold the
PLAY key to stop playing.
● To increase (+) and decrease (-) the volume press and hold the FF or FW key under
playing mode; the LCD screen will display the range of volume level.
● Under playing mode, press the A-B/REC key to enter into A-B repeat and press and
hold the A-B/REC key to enter the EQ mode.
● Under pause or stop mode, press the A-B/REC key to enter play mode (there is only
repeat one, repeat all and normal under voice mode), and press and hold the A-B/
REC key to switch to the music and voice mode. Under voice mode, press and hold

the A-B/REC key to start recording. Press the PLAY key to pause recording and press
and hold the A-B/REC key to stop recording.
● Push the HOLD key towards the right side (A-B side) and the player will go on hold.
During this mode the other keys will not work as usual. Push the HOLD key the
opposite way to resume normal operation.
GENERAL USE
A-B Repeat
While the player is ON, press the PLAY key to enter playing mode. Press the A-B/REC
key to identify the A point and the LCD displays A-. Press the A-B/REC key again to
identity the B point and LCD displays A-B. The player will then repeat the segment you
selected. Press the A-B/REC key again to exit repeat mode.
Using the menu Mode
● While the player is ON, press and hold the MENU key to enter the Menu. The
function menu will display on the LCD screen. Press the FF or FW key to select the
function, as follows:

● After selecting menu mode, press the MENU key to confirm or select the sub-menu.
● Press the PLAY key to return to the Music mode.
GENERAL USE
Navigation
● Press and hold the MENU key to enter into the main MENU (during stop mode).
Then press the MENU key to enter into navigation.
● Press the FF or FW key to select the desired navigation and press the play key to
play the selected file.
Voice Operation
● Press the PLAY key to turn ON the player. Press and hold the MENU key to enter into
the menu. Press the FF key to select voice and then press the MENU key to confirm.
● The LCD Screen will display the amount of records in storage.
● Press the FF or FW key to select files and press PLAY to listen to them. The display
will show as follows:

GENERAL USE
● Under voice mode, press and hold the MENU key to enter into the main menu.
The operations under voice mode are the same as when in music mode. Select
the record mode in the main menu and press the MENU key to start recording.
The recording interface will display as follows:
● You can pause recording by pressing the PLAY key. Press and hold the A-B/REC key
to stop recording. Press the MENU key to return to music mode.
Deleting Files
To erase the file(s) in the player, enter into the Del files menu as follows:
● To delete files, press the MENU key to enter into the main menu. Press the FF key to
select Del files and then press the MENU key to enter into erase files menu.
● In the Del files menu, you can press the FF or FW key to select the files that you
want to erase. Press the MENU key to confirm your selection, and the LCD will
display a menu. In this menu, press A-B key to select “YES” or “NO”. Press the PLAY
key to erase the file and the LCD will display file deleted. If you select NO, press the
MENU key to exit Del files and return to the erase menu.
Press the MENU key to choose FM mode from the main menu. Press FF key or FW key
to search for a channel. Press the MENU key to switch “Radio,Scan,Store,Exit” then
press Play to confirm. The player will stop searching when a channel has been found.
There are 30 available preset positions for FM radio stations on the Player.

colour (depending on model), Power Set, Record Set and Exit.

● Press the MENU key to enter the Set menu.

GENERAL USE
Play Mode
If you want to listen to a single song again or hear a 10 second ‘preview’ for each song,
use the play mode as follows:
● Press the MENU key to enter the main menu.
● Select Set by pressing the MENU key and enter into play mode.
● Press the MENU key to confirm which mode you would like to play.
● The play modes include:
1. Normal: Plays all music only once, orderly and then stops.
2. Repeat one: Plays the current music repeatedly.
3. Repeat All: Plays all music in order repeatedly until another operation is
performed.
4. Random: Plays all music randomly and then stops.
5. Shuffle All: Plays all music randomly until another operation is performed.
6. Intro: Plays the first 10 seconds of each song and stops after the last
one has played.

You can adjust the contrast by selecting the contrast menu.
Press the FF or FW key to select the contrast.

Backlight Setting
You can set the time of the backlight.
Press the MENU key to enter into the menu.
● Press the MENU key to select backlight mode and press it again to enter into
backlight menu.
● Press the MENU key to confirm the lighting duration.
● The LCD will display the status. Select 0 to cancel backlight setting.
BL Colour (Depending on model)
To choose the colour of the backlight, press the MENU key to enter into the menu.
Power Set
If no operations are performed during the set time, the player will automatically turn
OFF.
You can set auto power OFF time under both music and record modes.
The auto power OFF times include:

● Insert the line-in cable into the earphone jack. Press the A-B/REC key to start
recording and press the PLAY key to pause recording. Press and hold the A-B/REC
key to stop recording. The record files will be saved in the LINE-IN folder.
ABOUT
You can see the player’s capacity by connecting it to a computer. Alternatively this can
be viewed on the player as follows:
● Press the MENU key to enter the menu.
● Select about by pressing the MENU key and the LCD will display the memory
capacity.

How to copy songs and files to your player
The CD driver might be supplied with the MP3 player will NOT be required if your PC
is using the Windows XP or 2000 operating system (the CD is only needed if using
Windows 98). For quick set up please follow the instructions below.
1. Connect the MP3 player to the USB cord and insert into the USB slot of your PC.
2. The PC should recognize the MP3 player and will pop up a New Hardware Found
window on the screen.
3. By viewing your disk drives under “My Computer” on the PC desktop, you should now
have a new drive named Removable Disk followed by the drive letter.
4. Using the Windows Explorer application, music files from your PC can now be copied
to this “Removable Disk” drive and the files will be saved onto the MP3 player.
5. To do this, find the Windows Explorer application (usually under ‘accessories’ found
under all programs in your start menu. You can then simply drag and drop your music
files from your PC folder into the “Removable Disk” drive. Refer to the Windows Help
application on your PC for instructions on copying files.
Please note this MP3 player does not contain software to enable downloads or copying
of music of any kind. You must have music files on your PC in order to copy them onto
this MP3 player. Please also note that the MP3 player will only recognize
.MP3 or .WMA
files. It will not read files such as .WAV. Files that are encrypted with DRM (digital rights
management) such as files purchased off the internet, only work with DRM capable
models (Depend on model).

USB port connection
● Ensure that your PC supports USB devices. (Refer to your PC manual for the
information about hardware).
● Connect your PC to the player using the USB cable.
● Press the PLAY key to turn ON the player. The LCD Screen will display a connecting
picture if connected properly.
● If you are using a PC that is running with Windows 98SE (or below) it is necessary
to install the software from the accompanying CD (provided). Simply insert the CD
and follow the on-screen instructions to install this software. This procedure is not
required when using Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP or higher versions
thereof.
Sending and Deleting files between PC and Player
● Turn ON the player and connect it to your PC with the USB cable.
● It can be used like a Flash Disk to upload, download or delete file(s).
CAUTION
● Do not disconnect the player while a file is being downloaded. It could damage your
player.
● If the player does not work as expected, remove the battery and re-insert it into the
player after 3 seconds. Re-connect the player with the PC.

Tasten FW oder FW jeweils länger drücken; der LCD Bildschirm wird dann den Level
der Lautstärke darstellen.
● Im Wiedergabemodus drücken Sie A-B/REC um in die A-B Wiederholung zu
gelangen. Drücken Sie A-B/REC ein paar Sekunden lang, um in den EQ-Modus zu
gelangen.
● Im Pausen- oder Stopmodus drücken Sie A-B/REC um in den Wiedergabemodus

zu gelangen (es gibt nur: Wiederhole einen Titel, Wiederhole alle und Normal unter
dem Voice-Modus) und drücken A-B/REC für ein paar Sekunden um zwischen Musik-
und Voicemodus hin- und herzuschalten. Drücken Sie A-B/REC um die Aufnahme zu
starten, drücken Sie PLAY um die Aufnahme zu pausieren und A-B/REC ein paar
Sekunden lang um die Aufnahme zu stoppen.
● Schieben Sie die HOLD Taste nach rechts, indem Sie die HOLD-Taste in die
Pfeilstellung schieben. Das Wort “LOCKED” wird auf dem Display erscheinen und
alle anderen Tasten sind nicht mehr funktionsfähig. Schieben Sie den HOLD-Regler
in die andere Position um die Funktion zu deaktivieren. Jetzt können Sie Ihren Player
wieder normal betreiben.
A-B Wiederholung
Während der Player eingeschaltet ist, gehen Sie zum Abspielmodus indem Sie PLAY
drücken. Drücken Sie dann MODE um Punkt A festzulegen – Das Display zeigt nun A-
an. Drücken Sie MODE nochmal um Punkt B festzulegen, der Player wiederholt nun das
entsprechende Segment. Drücken Sie MODE um die A-B Wiederholung zu stoppen.
Der Benutzermodus
● Während der Player eingeschaltet ist, drücken Sie für einige Sekunden MENU um in
das Hauptmenü zu gelangen. Das Hauptmenü ist nun im Display sichtbar. Drücken
Sie FF oder FW um folgende Menüs auszuwählen:

● Nachdem Sie den Menü-Modus ausgewählt haben, drücken Sie für die Bestätigung
MENU oder wählen Sie das Untermenü.
● Drücken Sie PLAY um zum MP3-Modus zurückzukehren.
Navigation
● Drücken Sie während der Stop-Phase des Players für einige Sekunden die Taste
MENU, um in das Hauptmenü zu gelangen. Drücken Sie dann wieder MENU um in
die Navigation zu gelangen.
● Drücken FF oder FW um die gewünschte Navigation auszuwählen. Drücken Sie
PLAY um die gewünschte Datei abzuspielen.
Voice - Betrieb
● Drücken Sie für einige Sekunden PLAY um den Player einzuschalten und drücken
Sie MENU um in das Menü zu gelangen. Drücken Sie MENU um die Stimme
auszuwählen, drücken Sie dann MENU um zu bestätigen.
● Der Bildschirm zeigt an, wieviele Aufnahmen sich im Player befinden.
● Sie können FF oder FW nutzen, um aufgenommene Dateien auszuwählen und mit
PLAY können Sie diese wie folgt abspielen.

● Im Voice-Modus drücken sie MENU für ein paar Sekunden um in das Hauptmenü
zu gelangen. Die Operationen sind hier die gleichen wie unter dem Voice- und
Musikmodus. Wählen Sie den Aufnahmemodus (Record) und drücken Sie MENU um
die Aufnahme zu starten. Das Aufnahmeinterface zeigt folgendes an:
● Sie können Sie Aufnahme stoppen, indem Sie PLAY drücken. Drücken Sie A-B/REC
für ein paar Sekunden um die Aufnahme zu stoppen. Mit
MENU kehren Sie zurück in
den MP3 Modus.
Dateien löschen
Wenn Sie Files löschen wollen, gelangen Sie wie folgt in das Löschen-Menü:
● Um Files zu löschen, drücken Sie MENU um in den Menümodus zu gelangen.
Drücken Sie FF um die Datei auszuwählen die Sie löschen möchten und dann MENU
um in das Löschmenü zu kommen.

FM Radio (je nach Modell)
Drücken Sie die Taste „MENU“ um den FM-Modus auszuwählen. Drücken Sie die
Taste FF oder FW um einen Kanal zu suchen. Drücken Sie kurz die Taste „MENU“ um
zwischen “Radio,Scan,Store,Exit” hin- und herzuschalten, drücken Sie dann „PLAY“ um
zu bestätigen. Der Player beendet die Suche sobald ein Kanal gefunden wurde. Bis zu
30 verschiedene Radiosender können im Gerät eingespeichert werden.

EQ-Einstellungen, Abspielmodus, Kontrast, Hintergrundbeleuchtung- und Farbe (je nach

Sie sehen 6 verschiedene Soundeffekte wenn Sie den EQ Modus nutzen:
● Drücken Sie MENU um in das Hauptmenü zu gelangen.
● Wählen Sie den EQ-Modus und drücken Sie MENU um in das EQ-Menü zu
gelangen.
● Drücken Sie MENU um Ihren bevorzugten Modus zu bestätigen.
● Die sechs Modi sind: Normal, Rock, Jazz, Bass, Pop und Classic.
ALLGEMEINER GEBRAUCH
● Im Löschmenü können Sie FF oder FW benutzen um die zu löschenden Dateien
auszuwählen. Drücken Sie MENU für die Bestätigung. Das Display wird ein Menü
zeigen. In diesem Menü drücken Sie die Taste A-B um YES oder NO auszuwählen.
Drücken Sie PLAY um die Datei zu löschen. Das Display zeigt FILE DELETED. Wenn
Sie NO auswählen, drücken Sie MODE um das Löschen zu verlassen und zurück
zum Menü

ABSPIELMODUS
Wenn Sie einen einzelnen Song wieder hören möchten oder eine 10-Sekunden-
Vorstellung von jedem Titel, nutzen Sie den Abspielmodus wie folgt.
● Drücken Sie MENU um in das Hauptmenü zu gelangen.
● Wählen Sie den Abspielmodus indem Sie MENU drücken.
● Drücken Sie MENU um den gewünschten Modus zu bestätigen.
● Der Abspielmodus beinhaltet:
1. Normal: Spielt alle Titel in Reihenfolge ab und stoppt dann.
2. Repeat one: Spielt den aktuellen Titel wiederholt ab.
3. Repeat All: Wiederholt alle Titel in Reihenfolge ab, bis eine Operation
durchgeführt wird.
4. Random: Spielt alle Titel zufällig ab und stoppt dann.
5. Shuffle All: Spielt alle Titel zufällig und wiederholt ab, bis seine andere

Dateien und Musik auf den MP3-Player kopieren
Der auf der CD je nach modell enthalten befindliche Treiber wird für Windows2000 und
XP NICHT benötigt (nur bei Windows98 muss der Treiber installiert werden). Um Daten
zu kopieren bitte unten stehende Schritte befolgen:
1. Mit dem USB-Kabel den MP3-Player mit der USB-Schnittstelle am PC verbinden.
2. Der PC sollte den MP3-Player automatisch erkennen, die Meldung “Neue Hardware
gefunden” wird eingeblendet.
3. Wird der “Arbeitsplatz” geöffnet, erscheint ein neues Laufwerk namens
“Wechseldatenträger” mit Laufwerksbuchstaben.
4. Mit dem Programm Windows Explorer können jetzt Daten und Musik vom PC auf
den Wechseldatenträger bzw. MP3-Player kopiert werden.
5. Das Programm Windows Explorer kann üblicherweise unter Start, alle Programme,
Zubehör gefunden werden. Durch einfaches Ziehen und Fallenlassen (drag and drop)
werden die Musikdateien auf den Wechseldatenträger kopiert (weitere Informationen
zum Kopieren von Dateien finden Sie in der Windows Hilfe)
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der MP3-Player über keine Software verfügt, die selbst Musik
herunterladen oder kopieren kann. Um Daten auf den MP3-Player zu kopieren, müssen
die Musikdateien vorher auf Ihrem PC gespeichert sein. Ferner kann der MP3-Player
nur .MP3 oder .WMA Dateien abspielen. .WAV Dateien, die mit DRM (digital rights
management) kodiert sind und über das Internet vertrieben werden, können nur
von Modellen, die mit dieser Funktion ausgestattet sind, abgespielt werden (je nach
Modellausführung).

● Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr PC USB unterstützt (siehe Ihr PC-Handbuch).
● Verbinden Sie Ihren PC mit dem Player indem Sie das USB-Kabel benutzen.

folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm. Sie brauchen die Software nicht zu

SENDEN UND LÖSCHEN SIE FILES ZWISCHEN PC UND PLAYER
● Schalten Sie Ihren Player ein und verbinden Sie ihn mittels USB-Kabels an Ihren PC.
● Der Player kann wie eine Festplatte genutzt warden, für den Upload, download und
zum Löschen von Dateien.
VORSICHT
● Unterbrechen Sie die Verbindung von PC und Player niemals während eines
Datentransfers. Es könnte Ihren Player beschädigen.
● Wenn der Player nicht wie gewohnt funktioniert, entfernen Sie bitte die Batterie und
setzen Sie die Batterie nach 3 Sekunden wieder ein. Verbinden Sie den Player wieder

1. ATTENTION: Ecouter de la musique forte, en particulier de façon prolongée, peut
nuise à l’ouïe. Régler le volume de façon raisonnable.
2. Enlevez les piles si vous n’utilisez pas le lecteur pendant une période prolongée afin
d’éviter les dommages que pourrait causer une éventuelle fuite ou usure de la pile.
3. N’exposez pas ce lecteur au froid extrême, à la poussière ou à l’eau.
4. Assurez-vous que le lecteur est débloqué avant usage.
5. Evitez de cogner le lecteur contre des surfaces dures. Cela pourrait endommager sur

commencer l’enregistrement, Appuyez sur LECTURE pour mettre l’enregistrement en
pause et appuyez quelques secondes sur REC/A-B pour arrêter l’enregistrement.
● Appuyez sur VERROUILLAGE vers la droite (A-B) pour verrouiller le lecteur: les
autres touches sont désactivées. Appuyez sur VERROUILLAGE dans la direction
opposée, toutes les touches du lecteur fonctionnent à nouveau.
Répétition A-B
Quand le lecteur est allumé, appuyez sur LECTURE pour entrer en mode de lecture,
puis appuyez sur REC/A-B pour identifier le point A, l’écran LCD affiche A-, appuyez à
nouveau sur REC/A-B pour identifier le point B, l’écran LCD affiche A-B, et le lecteur
répète alors le segment ainsi sélectionné. Appuyez sur REC/A-B pour sortir du mode de
répétition.
Utilisation du mode menu
● Quand le lecteur est allumé, appuyez sur MENU pendant quelques secondes pour
entrer dans le Menu, la fonction menu s’affiche sur l’écran LCD. Appuyez sur Av Rap

Effacer des Fichiers
Si vous souhaitez effacer un/des fichier(s) du lecteur, vous pouvez entrer dans le menu

appuyez sur Av Rap pour sélectionner Erase Files, puis appuyez sur
MENU pour
entrer dans le menu d’effacement de fichiers.

Stations FM (selon les modèles)
Appuyer sur la touche MENU et sélectionner le mode FM dans le menu principal.
Appuyer sur la touche FF ou sur la touche FW pour rechercher une station. Appuyer
brièvement sur la touche MENU pour sélectionner “Radio, Scan, Store, Exit” (Radio,
Recherche, Enregistrement, Sortie) puis cette fois brièvement sur la touche PLAY pour
confirmer. Le lecteur arrêtera sa recherche dès qu’une station aura été détectée. Le
Lecteur dispose de 30 emplacements préprogrammés destinés à héberger les stations
FM.

Si vous souhaitez écouter une seule chanson plusieurs fois ou entendre les 10
premières secondes de chaque chanson, utilisez le mode de lecture comme suit:
● Appuyez sur MENU pour entrer dans le menu principal.

menu de lecture.

Réglage de l’éclairage d’écran
Vous pouvez fixer la durée de l’éclairage de l’écran.
Appuyez sur la touche MENU pour entrer dans le menu de réglage.

sur la touche pour entrer dans le menu Backlight.
● Appuyez sur MENU pour confirmer la durée d’éclairage.
● L’écran LCD affiche le statut. Choissez 0 pour annuler l’éclairage d’écran.
Couleur de l’écran (Selon le modèle)
Pour choisir la couleur de l’éclairage d’écran, appuyez sur MENU pour entrer dans le

Alimentation
Si aucune opération n’est entreprise pendant une durée préréglée, le lecteur s’éteint
automatiquement.
Vous pouvez régler une durée d’arrêt automatique du lecteur pour les menus musique

Comment copier des chansons et des fichiers vers votre lecteur
Selon le modèles le CD driver (pilote) fourni avec le lecteur MP3 N’EST PAS nécessaire si
votre PC fonctionne sous environnement Windows XP ou 2000 (vous n’avez besoin du CD
que si votre PC est sous Windows 98). Pour une installation rapide, veuillez vous conformer
aux instructions ci-dessous.
1. Connectez le câble USB à votre lecteur MP3 et insérez l’autre extrémité du cordon sur la
fiche USB de votre PC.
2. Le PC devrait reconnaître le lecteur MP3 et faire apparaître une fenêtre Nouveau Maté
riel Détecté (New Hardware Found) sur l’écran.
3. Si vous allez sous “Mon Ordinateur” et que vous visualisez la liste des périphériques
disponibles sur le Bureau de votre PC, vous devriez désormais voir apparaître un nou
veau périphérique nommé Disque Amovible (Removable Disk), suivi de la lettre attribuée
à ce périphérique.
4. A l’aide de l’application Windows Explorer, vous pouvez à présent copier les fichiers de
musique de votre PC vers le périphérique “Disque amovible” et les fichiers seront ensuite
enregistrés sur le lecteur MP3.
5. Pour ce faire, trouvez l’application Windows Explorer (habituellement dans le menu de
démarrage, ‘tous les programmes’, sous ‘accessoires’). Ensuite, il vous suffit simplement
de déplacer vos fichiers de musique du dossier de votre PC vers le périphérique “Disque
amovible”. Utilisez l’Aide Windows de votre PC pour obtenir des instructions sur comment
copier des fichiers.
Veuillez bien noter que ce lecteur MP3
ne contient pas de logiciel de téléchargement ou
de copiage de musique, de quelque nature que ce soit. Vous devez posséder les fichiers de
musique sur votre PC pour pouvoir ensuite les copier vers votre lecteur MP3. Notez aussi

Connexion du port USB
● Assurez-vous que votre ordinateur est compatible avec les appareils USB. (Référez-
vous au manuel d’utilisation de votre ordinateur pour les informations concernant le
matériel informatique).
● Connectez votre lecteur à votre ordinateur en utilisant le câble USB.
● Appuyez sur LECTURE pour allumer l’appareil. L’écran LCD affiche une image de
connexion si la connexion est terminée.
● Sur un PC Windows 98SE (ou versions antérieures) il est nécessaire d’installer le
logiciel à partir du CD fourni avec l’appareil. Insérer le CD et suivre les instructions
qui n’affichent sur l’écran. Cette installation n’est pas nécessaire sur Windows 2000,
Windows ME, Windows XP ou versions postérieures.
Envoyer et Effacer des fichiers entre l’ordinateur et le lecteur
● Allumer le lecteur et connectez-le à votre ordinateur à l’aide du câble USB.
● Le lecteur peut être utilisé comme un disque de votre ordinateur pour télécharger ou
effacer un/des fichier(s).
AVERTISSEMENT
● Ne débranchez pas le lecteur pendant qu’un fichier est en cours de téléchargement,
cela pourrait endommager le lecteur.
● Si le lecteur ne fonctionne pas normalement, veuillez retirer la pile et la réinsérer

1. ATTENTIE: Luisteren naar luide muziek, vooral gedurende een langere tijd, kan
blijvende beschadiging van de gebruikers gehoor veroorzaken. Stel het volume in op
een hoorbaar maar komfortabel niveau.
2. Verwijder de batterij uit de MP3 speler als u hem langere tijd niet gebruikt. Dit
voorkomt schade die veroorzaakt wordt door lekkage of erosie van de batterij.
3. Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan extreme kou, stof en water.
4. Zorg ervoor dat de speler voor gebruik ontgrendeld is.
5. Voorkom vallen en stoten tegen harde voorwerpen. Dit kan schade aan de
buitenkant, de batterij of de hardware veroorzaken.
6. Vervang de batterij in de volgende omstandigheden:
a) De batterij-indikator op het LCD toont “Lege Batterij”.

Let op: Sommige muziekbestanden kunnen met DRM (Digitale Rechten Management)
gekodeerd zijn. Deze MP3 speler kan met DRM gekodeerde bestanden niet afspelen.
● Druk in stopstand op de SPEELtoets om muziek af te spelen.
● Druk op FW of FF om het vorige of volgende bestand te spelen.
● Druk in pauze- of stopstand op FW of FF om het huidige bestand terug- of vooruit te
spoelen.
● Druk tijdens het spelen op de SPEELtoets om afspelen te pauzeren en houd de
SPEELtoets ingedrukt om afspelen te stoppen.
● Druk tijdens het spelen op FF of FW om het volume te verhogen (+) of verlagen (-);
het LCD scherm toont het bereik van het volumeniveau.
● Druk tijdens het spelen op A-B/REC om A-B herhaling te starten en houd de A-B/REC
toets ingedrukt om de EQ stand te starten.
● Druk in pauze- of stopstand op A-B/REC om de speelstand te bepalen (in de voice-
(geluids-)stand is alleen ‘herhaal één’, ‘herhaal alle’ en ‘normaal’ beschikbaar), of
houd de A-B/REC toets ingedrukt om te wisselen tussen muziek- en voicestand.

Druk in voice-stand op A-B/REC om te starten met opnemen. Druk op de SPEELtoets
om opnemen te pauzeren, of houd de A-B/REC toets ingedrukt om opnemen te
stoppen.
● Duw de HOLD-toets (vergrendel) naar rechts (richting A-B) en de speler wordt
vergrendeld. In deze stand werkt geen van de toetsen. Duw de HOLD-toets in de
andere richting en de toetsen werken weer als normaal.
A-B Herhaling
Druk terwijl de speler AAN staat op SPEEL om muziek te spelen. Druk op A-B/REC
om het A-punt vast te zetten en het LCD toont A-. Druk nogmaals op A-B/REC om het
B-punt in te stellen en het LCD toont A-B. De speler gaat het geselekteerde segment
herhalen. Druk nogmaals op A-B/REC om de herhaalstand te verlaten.
De Menustand Gebruiken
● Druk, terwijl de speler AAN staat, op MENU om het menu te openen. Het funktiemenu
wordt op het LCD scherm getoond. Druk op FF of FW om een funktie te kiezen, als

Navigatie

● Druk op FF of FW om naar wens te navigeren en druk op SPEEL om het
geselekteerde bestand af te spelen.
Voice Werking
● Druk op SPEEL om de speler AAN te zetten. Houd MENU ingedrukt om het menu te

● Het LCD toont het aantal opnames in het geheugen.

De werking in voice is hetzelfde als in muziekstand. Selekteer ‘record’ in
het hoofdmenu en druk op de MENUtoets om te beginnen met opnemen.
Het opnamescherm ziet er als volgt uit:
● U kunt opnemen pauzeren door op SPEEL te drukken. Houd A-B/REC ingedrukt om
opnemen te stoppen. Druk op MENU om terug te keren naar muziekstand.
Bestanden Verwijderen
Open als volgt het verwijdermenu om bestanden van de speler te verwijderen:
● Druk op MENU om het hoofdmenu te openen. Druk op FF en selekteer ‘del/erase
files’, en druk op MENU om het verwijderbestandenmenu te openen.
● Druk in het verwijderbestandenmenu op FF of FW om de bestanden die u wil
verwijderen te selekteren. Druk op MENU om uw keuze te bevestigen en het LCD
toont een menu. Druk in dit menu op A-B/REC om “YES(ja)” of “NO(nee” te
selekteren. Druk op SPEEL om het bestand te verwijderen en het LCD toont ‘file
deleted’. Druk op MENU als u “NO” selekteerde om het verwijderbestandenmenu te
verlaten en terug te gaan naar het verwijdermenu.
ALGEMEEN GEBRUIK
FM Radio (verschilt per model)
Druk op de MENU-toets om de FM stand uit het hoofdmenu te kiezen. Druk op de
Vooruit- of Terugspoeltoets om een kanaal op te zoeken. Druk kort op de MENU-toets
om te wisselen tussen Radio, Scan, Store (Opslaan) en Exit (Afsluiten) en druk kort
op de SPEEL-toets ter bevestiging. De speler stopt met zoeken als het een kanaal
gevonden heeft. Op de Speler zijn 30 voorgeprogrammeerde FM radio stations
beschikbaar.

Speelstand
Gebruik de speelstand als volgt als u één liedje wilt herhalen of als u een 10 sekonde
introduktie van elk liedje wilt horen:
● Druk op MENU om het hoofdmenu te openen.
● Selekteer herhaalstand door op MENU te drukken en de speelstand te openen.
● Druk op MENU om te bevestigen welke speelstand u wilt gebruiken.
● De volgende speelstanden zijn beschikbaar:
1. Normal: Speelt alle liedjes één keer in volgorde en stopt na afloop.
2. Repeat one: Speelt herhaaldelijk het huidige liedje.
3. Repeat All: Speelt herhaaldelijk alle liedjes in volgorde totdat een andere
funktie wordt gekozen.
4. Random: Speelt alle liedjes in willekeurige volgorde en stopt na afloop.
5. Shuffle All: Speelt alle liedjes in willekeurige volgorde totdat u een andere
funktie kiest.
6. Intro: Speelt de eerste 10 sekonden van elk liedje en stopt na afloop.

Achtergrondlicht Instellen
U kunt de tijdsduur van het achtergrondlicht instellen.
Druk op MENU om het menu te openen.
● Druk op MENU om de ‘backlight’ stand te selekteren en druk er nogmaals op om het
achtergrondlichtmenu te openen.
● Druk op MENU om de tijdsduur van het achtergrondlicht te bevestigen.
● Het LCD toont de status. Kies 0 om de de achtergrondinstelling te annuleren.
Achtergrondkleur (Afhankelijk van het model)
Druk voor het kiezen van de kleur van het achtergrondlicht op MENU om het menu te
openen.
Stroominstelling
De speler schakelt automatisch UIT als binnen de ingestelde tijd geen funkties worden
uitgevoerd. U kunt Auto Stroom UIT zowel in muziek- als opnamestanden instellen.
De Auto Stroom UIT tijdsduur kan gekozen worden uit:
Kies ‘disable’ om de ‘Auto Stroom Uit’ funktie uit te zetten.

● Selekteer ‘about’ en druk op MENU. Het LCD toont nu de geheugencapaciteit.

Hoe u liedjes en bestanden naar uw speler kopieert
De met de MP3 speler meegeleverde CD verschilt per model is NIET vereist als uw
PC Windows XP of Win 2000 heeft (de CD is alleen nodig voor Windows 98). Volg de
instrukties hieronder voor een snelle instelling van de speler.
1. Sluit de MP3 speler aan op de USB kabel en steek de kabel in de USB poort van uw
PC.
2. De PC moet nu uw MP3 speler herkennen en een Nieuw Hardware Gevonden
schermpje hoort te verschijnen op uw scherm.
3. Bij het bekijken van de schijfeenheden onder “Mijn Computer” op de PC’s scherm
vindt u nu een nieuwe schijfeenheid, genaamd Verwijderbare Schijfeenheid gevolgd
door een schijfletter.
4.Met Windows Verkenner kunt u nu muziekbestanden van uw PC kopiëren naar deze
“Verwijderbare Schijfeenheid”. De bestanden worden zo bewaard op de MP3 speler.
5. Vind hiertoe het Windows Verkenner programma (normaal onder ‘Accessoires’ onder
‘Alle Programmas’ in uw startmenu). U kunt dan eenvoudigweg bestanden slepen van
uw PC map naar de “Verwijderbare Schijfeenheid”. Lees uw Windows
Helpprogramma op uw PC voor meer instrukties over het kopiëren van bestanden.
Merk op dat deze MP3 speler geen software bevat voor het downloaden of kopiëren
van muziekbestanden. U moet de muziekbestanden op uw PC hebben om ze te
kunnen kopiëren naar de MP3 speler. Merk ook op dat deze MP3 speler alleen
.MP3
en .WMA bestanden herkent. De speler kan geen .WAV bestanden lezen. Bestanden
die versleuteld zijn met DRM (digitale rechten management), zoals bestanden die u
aangeschaft heeft via het internet, werken alleen op modellen die daartoe bereid zijn
(afhankelijk van het model).

● Wees er zeker van dat uw PC USB ondersteunt. (Raadpleeg uw PC handleiding voor
meer informatie over uw hardware).
● Koppel uw speler aan de PC met de USB kabel.
● Druk op SPEEL om de speler AAN te zetten. Het LCD toont een verbindingsplaatje
als de speler goed aangesloten is.
● Als uw PC Windows 98SE of ouder heeft moet u software van de meegeleverde CD
installeren. Steek eenvoudigweg de CD in de PC en volg de instrukties op het scherm
om de software te installeren. Deze procedure is niet vereist voor Windows 2000,
Windows ME, Windows XP of nieuwere versies.
Bestanden Overzenden en Verwijderen tussen PC en Speler
● Zet de speler AAN en sluit hem aan op de PC met de USB kabel.
● U kunt de speler als Flash Disk gebruiken om bestanden te uploaden, downloaden of
verwijderen.
WAARSCHUWING
● Ontkoppel de speler niet tijdens uploaden of downloaden van bestanden. U zou zo de
speler kunnen beschadigen.
● Verwijder de batterij en plaats hem na 3 sekonden weer terug als de speler niet
normaal werkt. Sluit daarna de speler weer aan op de PC.

O CD da driver dependendo do modelo fornecido com o leitor de MP3 NÃO é
necessário se o seu PC estiver a utilizar o sistema operativo Windows XP ou 2000
(o CD apenas é necessário se estiver a utilizar o Windows 98). Para uma instalação
rápida siga as instruções seguintes.
1.Ligue o leitor de MP3 ao cabo USB e insira-o na porta USB do seu PC.
2.O PC deverá reconhecer o leitor de MP3 e surgirá uma janela do Novo Hardware
Encontrado no ecrã.
3. Ao visualizar as suas drives do disco no “Meu Computador” no ecrã do PC, deverá
então ter uma nova drive denominada Disco Amovível seguida pela letra da drive.
4. Utilizando a aplicação do Windows Explorer, os ficheiros de música do seu PC
podem então ser copiados para esta drive do “Disco Amovível” e os ficheiros serão
guardados no seu leitor de MP3.
5. Para o efectuar, encontre a aplicação do Windows Explorer (normalmente sob os
‘acessórios’ localizados sob todos os programas no seu menu iniciar. Pode então
simplesmente arrastar e largar os seus ficheiros de música da sua pasta do PC para a
drive do “Disco Amovível”. Consulte a aplicação da Ajuda do Windows no seu PC para
instruções sobre como copiar ficheiros.
Note que este leitor de MP3 não contém software que permita transferir ou copiar
músicas de qualquer tipo. Deverá ter ficheiros de música no seu PC para poder copiá-
los para este leitor de MP3. Note igualmente que o leitor de MP3 apenas reconhece
ficheiros de .MP3 ou .WMA. Não lê ficheiros tais como .WAV. Ficheiros criptografados
com DRM (gestão de direitos digitais) tais como os ficheiros adquiridos na internet,

Borrar
Para borrar archivos del lector, entre al menú de borrar como se muestra a
continuación:
● Para borrar archivos, presionar la tecla MENU para entrar al menú principal.
Presionar la tecla FF para seleccionar borrar y después presionar la tecla
MENU para entrar dentro del menú de borrar archivos.
Radio FM (Dependiendo en el Modelo)
Presione la tecla MENU para seleccionar la modalidad de FM del menú principal.
Presionar la tecla FF o FW para buscar un canal. Presionar por un instante la tecla
MENU para cambiar “Radio, Escáner, Guardar, Salir” y después presionar por
un instante PLAY para confirmar. El lector detendrá la búsqueda cuando un canal
haya sido encontrado. Hay más de 30 posiciones disponibles preconfiguradas para
estaciones de radio FM en el lector.

Modo de Reproducción
Si usted quiere escuchar a una canción otra vez o escuchar una introducción de 10
segundos por cada canción, use el modo de reproducción (PLAY) de la siguiente
manera:
● Presione la tecla MENU para entrar al menú principal.
● Seleccione la modalidad de repetición al presionar la tecla MENU y entre a la
modalidad de reproducción (PLAY).
● Presione la tecla MENU para confirmar la modalidad que usted desee reproducir.
● La modalidad de reproducción incluye:
1. Normal: Reproduce toda la música en orden una sola vez y después se
detiene.
2. Repeat one: Reproduce la música actual repetidamente.

5. Shuffle All: Reproduce la música aleatoriamente hasta que otra operación

Puede establecer el tiempo la luz de fondo.

Configuración de la Energía

● Bajo la modalidad pausa o detener, mantenga presionada la tecla A-B/REC para
entrar dentro de la modalidad de voz.
● Inserte el cable line-in dentro del conector de auriculares. Presionar la tecla A-
B/REC para comenzar la grabación y presione la tecla PLAY para pausar la
grabación. Mantener presionada la tecla A-B/REC para detener la grabación. Los
archivos grabados se guardarán en la carpeta LINE-IN.
ACERCA
Usted puede ver la capacidad del lector al conectarlo a un ordenador. Alternativamente
esto se puede ver en el lector de la siguiente manera:
● Pulsar la tecla MENU para entrar en el menú.

Como copiar pistas y canciones a su lector
El CD del driver que pudiese ser proveído con su lector de MP3 NO será requerido
si su ordenador utiliza un sistema operativo de Windows XP o 2000 (el CD se
necesitará cuando utilice Windows 98). Para una instalación rápida por favor siga las
instrucciones siguientes.
1. Conectar cable de USB al lector de mp3 e insertarlo al Puerto de USB de su
ordenador.
2. El ordenador deberá reconocer el lector de MP3 y mostrará en la pantalla Nuevo
Hardware Encontrado.
3. Al visualizar los drives del disco en “ Mi PC” en el escritorio del ordenador, deberá
tener una nota denominada Disco Removible seguida de por la letra del drive.
4. Al utilizar la aplicación de Windows Explorer, podrá copiar los archivos de música de
su ordenador al “disco removible” y los archivos serán guardados en su lector de
MP3.
5. Para llevar a cabo esto, encuentre la aplicación de Windows Explorer (usualmente
encontrada en “accesorios” que se encuentra en programas en el menú de
comienzo). Usted puede simplemente arrastrar y dejar sus archivos de música
contenidos en la carpeta de su ordenador en el “disco removible”. Referirse a la
aplicación de ayuda de Windows en su ordenador para las instrucciones de como
copiar archivos.
Por favor note que éste lector de MP3 NO contiene un software que permita la carga o
la copia archivos de música. Usted deberá tener archivos de música en su ordenador
para poder copiarlos a su lector de MP3. Por favor también note que el lector de MP3
solo reconoce archivos de .MP3 o .WMA. No leerá archivos .WAV codificados con
DRM (administración de derechos digitales) como por ejemplo archivos comprados en
el Internet, solo funciona con modelos DRM capaces (Dependiendo del Modelo)

Conexión del Puerto de USB
● Asegúrese de que su PC respalde dispositivos de USB. (Referirse al manual de su
PC para información acerca del hardware).
● Conecte su PC a su jugador usando un cable de USB.
● Presionar la tecla PLAY para encender el jugador. La pantalla de LCD mostrará una
imagen de conexión si la conexión ha sido completada.
● Si usted está utilizando un ordenador con Windows 98SE (o anteriores) sera
necesario instalar el software del CD (proveído). Simplemente inserte el CD y siga
las instrucciones en la pantalla para instalar el software. Este procedimiento no será
requerido cuando utilice Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP o versiones más
actuales.
Enviar y borrar archivos entre la PC y el lector
● Encienda el lector y conéctelo a su pc con un cable de USB.
● Este puede ser usado como un Flash Disk para subir, cargar o borrar archivos.
ATENCIÓN
● No desconecte el jugador mientras un archivo esté siendo cargado. Esto puede
dañar su lector de MP3.
● Si el lector no funciona como de costumbre, remueva la batería y reinsértela dentro
del lector después de 3 segundos. Reconectar el lector con el ordenador.

1. ATTENZIONE: Ascoltare la musica ad alto volume, soprattutto per tempi prolungati,

impostato su un livello ascoltabile ma non dannoso.

Cio’eviterà i danni provocati da perdite o corrosione della batteria.

Elimina file
Per eliminare un file dal lettore, entrare nel menu Cancella seguendo le istruzioni:

Premere il tasto FF per selezionare Cancella e premere il tasto MENU per entrare nel
menu elimina file.
● dal menu elimina file premere il tasto FF o FW per selezionare il file da cancellare.
Premere il tasto MENU per confermare la scelta. Sul display compare un menu. Da
questo menu premere il tasto A-B per scegliere “SI” o “NO”. Premere il tasto PLAY
per cancellare il file. Sul display compare il file da eliminare. Se si è scelto NO
premere il tasto del MENU per uscire da elimina file e tornare al menu Cancella.
Premere il tasto MENU per selezionare FM dal menu principale. Premere il tasto FF o
FW per ricercare un canale. Premere il tasto MENU per passare a “Radio,Cerca,Memor
izza,Esci” e premere Play per confermare. Quando il lettore trova un canale la ricerca si
interrompe. È possibile memorizzare sul lettore fino a 30 stazioni FM .

È possibile verificare la capacità del lettore collegandolo a un computerr. Oppure

● Selezionare Informazioni( about) premendo il tasto MENU, sul display comparirà la
capacità della memoria.

Copiare file e brani nel lettore
Il CD di installazione fornito con il lettore MP3 NON è richiesto se si utilizza il sistema
operativo Windows XP o 2000 (Il CD è necessario se si utilizza Windows 98). Per
l’impostazione rapida seguire le istruzioni riportate di seguito:
1. Collegare il lettore MP3 al cavo USB e inserirlo nell’apposita porta USB del PC.
2. Il PC dovrebbe riconoscere il lettore MP3, a quel punto sullo schermo comparirà la
finestra Trovato Nuovo hardware (New Hardware Found).
3. Tra i drive del disco visualizzabili da Risorse del Computer (“My Computer”) sul
desktop, dovrebbe esserci una periferica chiamata Disco rimovibile( Removable
Disk) seguita dalla lettera della periferica.
4. L’applicazione Windows Explorer permette di copiare i file musicali dal PC alla

Collegamento alla porta USB
● Verificare che il PC possa riconoscere dispositivi USB. (Consultare il manuale del PC
per le informazioni sull’hardware).
● Collegare il PC al lettore con un cavo USB.
● Premere il tasto PLAY per accendere il lettore. Sul display compare l’immagine della
connessione, se il dispositivo è propriamente collegato.
● Se il sistema operativo in uso sul PC è Windows 98SE (o inferiore), installare il
programma contenuto nel CD fornito con il lettore. Per installare il programma,
basterà inserire il CD e eseguire le istruzioni sullo schermo. Se il sistema operativo
in uso sul PC è Windows 2000, Windows ME, Windows XP o versioni aggiornate, non
sarà necessario installare il programma dal CD.
Trasferire o eliminare i file tra PC e Player
● Accendere il lettore e collegarlo al PC tramite il cavo USB.
● Esso potrà essere usato come un disco esterno (Flash Disk)per copiare, trasferire o
cancellare file.
ATTENZIONE
● Non scollegare mai il lettore durante il trasferimento di file. Cio’ potrebbe creare danni

Sådan kopieres sange og filer til afspilleren
CD-driveren, der følger med MP3-afspilleren, er IKKE nødvendig, hvis din computer
bruger Windows XP eller 2000 operativsystem (CD’en skal kun bruges, hvis du bruger
Windows 98). For hurtig opsætning skal du følge nedenstående instruktioner.
1. Tilslut MP3-afspilleren til USB-kablet, og indsæt det i USB-drevet på din computer.
2. Computeren vil nu genkende MP3-afspilleren, og vinduet Ny hardware fundet
vil vises på skærmen.
3. Når du ser diskdrevene under “Denne computer” på computeren, vil du nu se
et nyt drev kaldet Aftagelig disk efterfulgt af drevbogstavet.
4. Brug Windows Stifinder til at kopiere musikfiler fra computeren
til dette ”Aftagelige disk”-drev, hvorefter filerne vil blive gemt på MP3-afspilleren.
5. For at gøre dette skal du finde Windows Stifinder (som regel under ’Tilehør’
under alle programmer i din startmenu. Du kan trække og slippe musikfilerne
fra computermappen til “Aftagelig disk”-drevet. Der henvises til Windows Hjælp
på din computer for instruktioner i kopiering af filer.
Vær opmærksom på, at denne MP3-afspiller ikke indeholder software til download eller
kopiering af musik. Du skal have musikfilerne på din computer for at kunne kopiere dem
over på MP3-afspilleren. Vær også opmærksom på, at MP3-afspilleren kun vil genkende
.MP3- eller .WMA-filer. Den vil ikke aflæse filer som f.eks. WAV. Filer, der er krypteret
