Care of the Appliance
Warning:
Always remove the mains connector from the plug socket before cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the electricity plug in water or other liquids. There is a danger of
electric shocks!
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning products, metal brushes, scourers or other hard objects to clean the appliance,
this could scratch the appliance’s surfaces.
• Only clean the appliance with a soft, damp cloth.
• Ensure that the CD compartment is always closed so that the optical lens does not become dusty.
• Avoid all contact with the optical lens.
Care of CDS and MP3 Discs
• To remove a CD from its storage case, press the centre of the holder and lift the CD out carefully. Do not touch the
written side of the CD. Only hold the CD by the edges.
• CDs should not be twisted.
• Fingerprints and dust should be wiped carefully off the CD with a dry, soft, fluff-free cloth. Wipe the CD in a straight
line from the inside to the outside.
• Never use detergent, solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the disc. If necessary, use a commercial CD cleaning kit.
• Small dust particles and light stains have no influence on the playing quality.
