REMOVING THE MOTOR OUTLET FILTER
In order to ensure the safe working of your vacuum cleaner, the motor protection filter and the outlet filter must be
cleaned regularly. If a filter appears to be very dirty or damaged, it must be replaced with a new filter.
Only use filters designed for this appliance and of the correct size.
• Remove the filters and tap to remove the dust trapped in them.
• Wash the filter every so often by hand in cool soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove any
remaining dust particles and soap.
• WARNING! Only place the filter back into the vacuum cleaner, when it is completely dry.
Removing the motor protection filter
• Open the dust collector lid and remove the motor protection filter from the filter compartment for cleaning. Please
follow the instructions for cleaning the filters.
• Next, replace the cleaned filter or new filter back into the filter compartment and close the dust collector lid.
Removing the motor outlet filter
• Open the motor outlet filter cover and remove the filter for cleaning.
Please follow the instructions for cleaning the filters.
• Next, place the cleaned or new outlet filter back into the filter
compartment and secure the outlet filter cover back onto the
appliance.
CLEANING / CHANGING THE FILTERS
•
The filter housing must be re-attached to the lid by turning it in a clockwise direction.
•
Correctly replace the filter insert inside the dust collector.
• The cleaned dust collector can now be put back into the appliance. Use slight pressure to close the dust collector
cover, and this should lock into place with a ‘click’.
