Operation
• Operating voltage: 220-240V~, 50-60Hz, 1200W
• Please clean the waffle lifter prior to first use and follow the instructions from the segment „Cleaning“.
Due to hygienic reasons the first waffle during first operation shouldn’t be consumed.
• Please connect the appliance to the power outlet and turn the thermostat clockwise until the stop (white
arrow points at level 5). The red indicating light turns on and the waffle plates are heated up by the
appliance. When the waffle plates have reached the set temperature, the red indicating light will turn
off and the green indicating light turns on.
• Please lift the upper housing up by using the handle and place the waffle lifter into the middle of the
waffle plate at the designated indentations.
• Grease the waffle plates and the waffle lifter with some fat and put your waffle batter onto the lower
waffle plates. Make sure that you do not put too much batter onto the waffle plates to avoid an
overflowing.
• Please close the appliance using the handle. The heating level at the thermostat can be adjusted
depending on your batter and desired browning level. “1” represents the lowest and “5” the highest
heating level. When the green indicating light turns on, the set temperature is reached and the waffle
plates are no longer heated. Each waffle needs about 5-6 minutes baking time which may vary
depending on the type of batter, batter amount and desired browning level.
• Once the waffles are done, open the waffle maker carefully with the handle and take out the waffles
using the waffle lifter. If you do not wish to use the waffle lifter, use heat-resistant spatulas made of
plastics or wood, no cutlery made of metal, to protect the non-stick coating of the waffle plates.
• After baking, turn the thermostat back to the lowest level and remove the appliance from the power
outlet.

1 pinch of salt
2 sachets of vanilla sugar
1 cube of fresh yeast or 2 sachets of dry yeast
½ cup of water
½ cup of lukewarm milk
325g nib sugar
• Preparation:
Mix flour, salt and vanilla sugar in a big bowl. Crumble up the yeast and dissolve it in the lukewarm milk.
Add butter, milk with yeast, water and eggs to the flour and mix everything with a hand mixer until the
batter is smooth and free of lumps. Cover the batter and let it sit for at least half an hour at a warm place.
Mix nib sugar into the batter and bake the batter in the waffle maker until golden brown. Serve the
