W ith normal use, the batteries sho uld last for about six mo nths.

All tracks or les on a disc ar e played repeatedly up t o ve times.
“REP1” indica tes that a single track or le is repeat ed until you stop
it.
Notes on playing MP3 discs
Do not sa ve other types of tracks or les or unnecessary folders on a
disc that has MP3 les.
Fo lders that have no MP3 les ar e skipped.
MP3 les are p layed back in the order that they ar e recorded on to
the disc.
e system ca n only play MP3 les that ha ve a le extension of
“ .MP3” .
If ther e are les on the disc that hav e the “ .MP3” le extensio n,
but tha t are not MP3 les, the unit may p roduce noise or ma y
malfunction.

Notes on playing multisession discs
If the disc begins with a CD-D A (or MP3) session, it is r ecognize d as
a CD-DA (o r MP3) disc, and other sessions ar e not played back.
A disc with a mixed CD fo rmat is recognized as a CD-DA (a udio)
disc.
Listening to the radio
Before yo u can receive D AB, you m ust comp lete the
D AB Au tomatic Scan pr o cedure (see “Befor e using the
system ”).

W ith a DAB ext erna l ant enna (not supp lied), you can obtain higher
D AB broadcast sound quality . W e r ecommend that yo u use t he supp lied
FM/D AB lead antenna only t emporarily until yo u install a DAB external
ant enna.
Before un plugging the DAB a ntenna, make sur e the system is turned o to
preserve your o wn DAB settings.
