Troubleshooting
If you experience any of the following difficulties while using the system, use this troubleshooting
guide to help remedy the problem before requesting repairs. Should any problem persist, consult your
nearest Sony dealer.
Note that if service personnel changes some parts during repair, these parts may be retained.
In the event of a problem with the wireless sound function, have a Sony dealer check the entire system
together (main unit and subwoofer).
General
Messages
Symptom Problems and solutions
The power is not turned on. • Check that the AC power cords (mains leads) for the main unit and subwoofer
are connected securely.
• Check that the AC power cord (mains lead) of the main unit is connected
securely to the AC adapter.
• Check that the connector of the AC adapter is connected securely to the DC IN
14V connector on the rear of the main unit.
The remote does not function. • The distance between the remote and the main unit is too far.
• The batteries in the remote are weak.
The disc does not eject and you
cannot remove the disc even
after you press Z.
• Try the following: 1 Press and hold N and Z on the main unit for more than
5 seconds to eject the disc. 2 Remove the disc. 3 Disconnect the AC power
cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet (mains), then reconnect after several
minutes.
The system does not work
normally.
• Disconnect the AC power cord (mains lead) from the wall outlet (mains), then
reconnect after several minutes.
Symptom Problems and solutions

Press "/1 to turn off the system, and check the following items after
“STANDBY” disappears.
• Is anything blocking the ventilation openings of the system?
• After checking the above items and fixing any problems, turn on the system. If
the cause of the problem cannot be found even after checking all the above
items, consult your nearest Sony dealer.
“LOCKED” appears in the front
panel display.
• Set the child lock function to off (page 51).
“DEMO LOCK” appears in the
front panel display.
• Contact your nearest Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.
“Exxxx” appears in the front
panel display.
• Contact your nearest Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility and
give the error code.

  • beste,
    wanneer een tijdje mijn muziek opstaat, hoor ik een bijkomend geluid,
    zou dit een ventilator kunnen zijn?

  • Hallo beste lezer. 't Zou fijn zijn als er een oplossing komt voor een lasting probleempje. 'k Heb de Sony BDV-L600 al een flinke tijd. Sinds twee maanden hangt hij ook aan het locale network met daarin een NAS Synology DS415 Play. Behoudens 1 ding gaat het allemaal prima. Het vreemde is dat de Sony in de "muziek mode" folders op de NAS blijft herkennen terwijl die folders van de NAS zijn verwijderd. Ra Ra en vervelend. Bestaat er een soort geheugen cleaner voor de SONY? 'k Heb de stekker er al eens een halve dag uit het stopcontact getrokken. Alvast bedankt voor het antwoord. Mvg, Roel.

  • Beste mensen,

    De afstandsbediening van mijn Sony BDV-L600 home cinema set doet het grotendeels niet meer.

    Wat doet het wel via de afstandsbediening:
    - aan/uit zetten
    - volume knop

    Wat heb ik al geprobeerd:
    - BDV uitgezet door de stekker er 10 min uit te halen
    - nieuwe batterijen in de afstandsbediening

    Weet iemand raad?

    • Mmm, na de nieuwe batterijen van plaats in de afstandsbediening zelf te hebben gewisseld doet hij het weer. Danny Geantwoord op 22-9-2013 om 09:00
