- Pull up the iron bar from the ash drawer to remove it and empty the contents
in a safe place, remember that it may contain hot embers among the ashes.
If when removing the ash drawer you see any ash residue inside, you should
also remove it.

8.5.2. Additional cleaning
We recommend that this cleaning be carried out by a qualified technician. The
frequency with which this cleaning should be carried out depends on the amount of
firewood burned, the quality of the wood and the temperature reached in the recuperator.
The minimum is a full annual review. Failure to perform this cleaning can lead table burns
