The bottom of the mixing jug Immediately switch to “0” (middle switch position; OFF) and unplug
becomes loose in operation, the power cord. Immediately empty the mixing jug. Clean and dry
liquid leaks out. the blender base (page 44). If liquid has entered the air openings in
the bottom of the blender base, then have the appliance checked in an
authorized workshop. Check that the mixing jug is correctly and completely
assembled in accordance with the instructions on page 36.
TIP: Check the seal of the mixing jug by adding some water before adding the
ingredients. If necessary tighten the bottom of the jug more firmly. Do not
overtighten the thread at the bottom of the jug.
If the bottom of the jug is still leaky, follow the instructions in the next point.
You cannot seal the Immediately empty the mixing jug. Disassemble the mixing jug

Replace damaged components with original spare parts from the manufacturer.
Assemble the mixing jug in accordance with the instructions on page 36.

use parts that are intended and approved for the purpose by the manufacturer.

The bottom of the jug Note that to unscrew the glass jug, it must be turned anticlockwise.
cannot be unscrewed. Place your hand through the jug handle so that the handle is against the back of
your hand. Grasp the bottom of the jug with your other hand and then turn the
glass jug.
If necessary, get someone else to hold the bottom of the jug and then hold the
glass jug with both hands.
TIP: The bottom of the jug can be more easily tightened and loosened if you
smear the gasket with a drop of cooking oil before assembly.
Disposal instructions
Worn out appliances must be made unserviceable. Unplug the power cord from the socket and cut off the
power cord from the appliance. Electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the household rubbish. They
