MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
BLENDER JUG AND LID
To prevent the foods from sticking to the blades, the blender jug and the lid, we
recommend proceeding as follows after every use:
• Rinse the blender jug, the lid and the measuring cap resp. the citrus juicer with
water to remove most food remains.
• Pour 500 ml of warm water into the blender jug, place it on the motor base and
put lid incl. measuring cap onto the jug. Press the SMOOTHIE|AUTO CLEAN but-
ton. Should the foods firmly cling on, add half a teaspoon of washing-up liquid.
• After that, rinse the blender jug, the lid and the measuring cap resp. the citrus
juicer with warm water again or clean everything in warm dishwater with a soft
cloth or a bottle brush.
• Be careful to completely clean the blender jug from any detergent residues with
clear water.
• When blender jug, lid and measuring cap resp. citrus juicer are clean, dry every-
thing carefully.
• Note: The blender jug is simplest cleaned right after use.
PLEASE NOTE WHEN PROCESSING LEMON JUICE
• The juice from citrus fruits can tarnish the side of the blender jug and impair its
life span. We recommend cleaning the blender jug with warm dishwater imme-
diately after using it, carefully rinsing it with clear water and drying it right away.
Do not let the blender jug soak in.
DISHWASHER CLEANING
• The blender jug and the lid resp. citrus juicer can be cleaned in the dishwasher
in a standard cycle. Place the blender jug in the lower compartment, lid and mea-
suring cap resp. citrus juicer should be rinsed in the upper compartment of the
dishwasher.
CLEANING THE MOTOR BASE
• Wipe the motor base with a slightly moist, soft cloth and then dry the base. Clean
the power cord of potential food residues.
NOTE TO DETERGENTS
• Never use abrasive or aggressive detergents or cleaning solutions to clean the
motor base and the blender jug – they might scratch the surface. Only use warm
water with mild washing-up liquid and a soft cloth.
