Important safety instructions
● The vegetable grater attachment must
only be used with food processor model
KM3882, whose safety instructions also
apply here.
● When using the vegetable grater
attachment, the blender bowl (with one
of its tools inside) must be fitted, as the
drive head mounting rotates during
operation.
● The attachments designed for slicing,
shredding and grating have extremely
sharp blades. To prevent the possibility
of severe injury, use extreme care when
handling or cleaning these attachments.
● For safety reasons, use the pestle at all
times when adding food into the feeder
chute. Never use your hands (or objects
of any kind).
● Do not leave the appliance unattended
while in use. Always remove the plug
from the wall socket even when
interrupting work for only a short while.
● Do not let the appliance run empty.
● Do not touch any moving parts during
operation, as this can be extremely
dangerous.
● Always switch the appliance off and
remove the plug from the wall socket
before adding, changing or removing any
attachments, or before the appliance is
cleaned. After switching off, always wait
until the motor has come to a complete
standstill.
● This appliance should only be used with
the attachments provided by the
manufacturer and in accordance with the
purposes described in this manual.
Before using for the first time
Before the vegetable grater attachment is
used for the first time, it should be
thoroughly cleaned as described in the
section General care and cleaning.
Use
General information
● Always fit the required attachment
before use.
● Always switch the appliance off after use,
and wait until the motor has come to a
complete standstill. Remove the plug
from the wall socket before any
attachments are added or removed.
Operation
-
Turn the locking-ring anti-clockwise to
remove it from the housing.
-
Fit the shaft into the housing with the
metal disc facing out.

Fit the desired attachment into the
housing, ensuring that the 3 lugs on the
disk fit into the corresponding openings
on the attachment.

Fit the locking-ring onto the housing and
hand-tighten by turning it in a clockwise
direction.

Press down the slide lock and remove the
cover.
-
Press down the slide lock again and fit
the housing onto the shaft in the drive
unit by turning it slightly.

Release the slide lock once the feeder
chute is vertical. The housing is correctly
fitted and locked when it cannot be
removed by pulling outwards.

Place a suitable container underneath the
