blades are very sharp. When handling the
blades, always hold them by their upper
protective plastic covering.
-
Place the lid into the processing bowl,
ensuring that the blade unit shaft fits
through the opening in the lid.
-
Fit the drive unit to the bowl.
-
Insert the plug into the wall socket and
press the push switch in brief bursts until
the food being processed has reached the
required consistency.
-
Avoid overfilling the bowl: the maximum
fill marks must not be exceeded. Before
the bowl is filled, the food to be
processed should be cut into pieces of
about 1 cm.
-
Do not fill the bowl with hot liquid or
hard food stuff such as ice cubes,
nutmegs, hard grain, coffee beans, rice or
hard spice. Other food such as chocolate
or raw meat is also unsuitable for
processing.
-
After processing, always remove the plug
from the wall socket before detaching the
drive unit and removing the lid. The
blade unit must be removed before the
processed food can be taken out of the
bowl.
-
When processing further food after the
first cycle, make sure that the receptacle
for the blade unit at the bottom of the
bowl is free of food residue before
refitting the unit.
