Before using for the rst time
Before the appliance is used for the –
rst time, all detachable parts must be
thoroughly cleaned as described in the
section General care and cleaning.
Short-time operation
e appliance is designed to process average
domestic quantities of food; it can be operated
without interruption for a maximum of 1
minute, when it should be allowed to cool
down to room temperature. When using the
chopping attachment, the appliance should
be operated for a maximum of 10 seconds
at a time, when it should be allowed to cool
down to room temperature.

e blender is equipped with 2 push-type
operating buttons.
Operating button I: low power
Operating button II: high power
Blender operation
When tting the blender attachment to –
the drive unit, ensure that the two arrow
markings are aligned. To lock, turn the
blender attachment so that the arrow on
the drive unit is aligned with the lock
symbol on the blender attachment.
Always use a suitable container for –
operation. e blender jar provided, or
any tall container with a at base are
suitable
Push the blender attachment down –
into the ingredients in the bowl before
switching the unit on with the operation
buttons.
Observe the maximum level mark on the –
blender attachment: this mark has to
remain visible during operation.
Make sure that the attachments can rotate –
freely inside the bowl and are not blocked
during operation.
As soon as the operating button is –
released, the blender will switch o .
Always wait until the motor has come
to a complete standstill before li ing the
blender attachment from the mixture.
Remove the plug from the wall socket –
a er use.

Remove the plug from the wall socket and
wait until the motor has come to a complete
standstill before changing any attachments.
e attachments are tted to the drive unit.
Ensure that the arrow markings on the drive
unit and attachments are properly aligned.
Chopping attachment
Remove the protective cover from the –
blade unit. Fit the cutting blade unit into
the bowl before lling the bowl with the
food to be chopped. Exercise extreme
caution: the blades are very sharp. When
handling the blades, always hold them by
the upper protective plastic covering.
Position the lid on the bowl and lock it –
by turning anti-clockwise until it is heard
locking into place.
Attach the drive unit to the lid of the bowl –
and turn to lock; ensure that the arrow
and lock symbols are properly aligned.
Insert the plug into the wall socket and –
press the operating button in brief bursts
until the mixture has reached the desired
consistency. During processing, the lid and
bowl should be securely held in place.
Avoid over lling the bowl. It may be lled –
with herbs etc. up to half. Before the bowl
is lled, the food to be processed should
be cut into pieces of about 1 cm.
Do not ll the bowl with hot liquid or hard –
material such as ice cubes, nutmegs, hard
grain, co ee beans, rice or spices. Other
food items such as chocolate or raw meat
are also unsuitable for processing.
A er processing, always remove the plug –
from the wall socket before removing
the lid and detaching the drive unit. e
processed food and the blade unit can
now be taken out.
When processing further food a er the –
rst cycle, make sure that the receptacle
for the blade unit at the bottom of the
bowl is free of food residue before re t

Whisk attachment
e whisk attachment is suitable for whipping
cream or beating egg-white, or for processing
