Should the appliance, for instance, have
been dropped onto a hard surface, or if
excessive force has been used to pull the
power cord, it must no longer be used:
even invisible damage may have adverse
effects on the operational safety of the
appliance.
∙ To prevent damage to the power cord,
- do not bend or kink the cable, especially
where it leaves the housing,
- do not pull on the cord,
- do not coil the power cord around the
appliance.
∙ Do not leave the appliance unattended
while in use.
∙ Always switch off and remove the plug
from the wall socket after use, and also
in the event of any malfunction.
∙ When removing the plug from the wall
socket, never pull on the power cord;
always grip the plug itself.
∙ Do not place the appliance on any
surfaces sensitive to heat during or
immediately after use.
∙ No responsibility will be accepted if
damage results from improper use, or if
these instructions are not complied with.
∙ This appliance is intended for domestic or
similar applications, such as
- in staff kitchens, shops, offi ces and
other similar working environments,
- in agricultural working environments,
- by customers in hotels, motels etc. and
similar establishments,
- in bed-and breakfast type environments.
Intended use
This appliance is intended solely for drying
and shaping natural hair. Any other use must
be considered improper and may lead to
personal injuries or material damage.
Styling nozzle
The styling nozzle can be fi tted to the air
outlet. It focuses the air-fl ow, helping to blow-
dry and shape the hair more effectively.
Operation
∙ Fold out the handle.
∙ Set the voltage regulator to your supply
voltage.
∙ Connect the dryer to a suitable wall
socket.
∙ Use the slide switch in the grip to select
the desired power setting.
∙ Switch the appliance off after use and
disconnect it from the mains.
Cleaning and care
∙ Before cleaning the hair dryer, remove
the plug from the wall socket and let the
appliance cool down completely.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do
not clean the hair dryer with water nor
immerse it in water.
∙ If necessary, the housing of the hair dryer
may be wiped with a dry lint-free cloth.
∙ Always check the air intake openings
for accumulated lint particles or hair and
remove any found.
Storage and transport
To facilitate storage and transport, the grip
of the hair dryer can be folded back. In this
way, it will fi t easily into the pouch.
