ermal safety cut-out
Should the oil/fat level fall below the safe level
for operation, the integral thermal safety cut-
out will be activated and the heating element
is switched o . If this occurs, allow su cient
time for the appliance to cool down, then add
the required amount of oil/fat. Use a suitable
pointed object (eg a pin) to press the reset
button (Reset) (9) on the front of the heating
element housing to reset the safety cut-out.
Only a er such a reset can the appliance be
used again.
Should the safety cut-out be activated
repeatedly despite a su cient oil/fat amount
in the frying container, the appliance must no
longer be used; please have it examined by a
quali ed person before it is used again.
Operation
Before using for the rst time
z Remove any exterior and interior
packaging materials. All these materials
are suitable for recycling.

Lid
Always use the lid handle when taking o or
replacing the lid.
Inspection window
e inspection window is helpful when
monitoring the frying process. To prevent
condensation from water vapour, a little oil
should be applied to the inside of the window.
Condensation collection tray
e tray must be properly installed in the
corresponding recess at the side of the
heating element.
Any condensation forming on the inside of
the lid will be collected in the tray. It should
be emptied a er each use, once the appliance
