User'smanual
Prior to using this appliance, please read the user'smanual thoroughly, even in cases,
when one has already familiarised themselves with previous use of similar types of
appliances. Only use the appliance in the manner described in this user’smanual.
Keep this user'smanual in asafe place where it can be easily retrieved for future use.
We recommend saving the original cardboard box, packaging material, purchase
receipt and responsibility statement of the vendor or warranty card for at least the
duration of the legal liability for unsatisfactory performance or quality. In the event
of transportation, we recommend that you pack the appliance in the original box
from the manufacturer.

Note:
The fan is supplied assembled.
USING THE FAN
Place the fan on ahorizontal, stable, dry and smooth surface within reach of apower
socket. Connect the power cord to apower socket. The fan will beep and all the
indicator lights will turn on for ashort moment. Then the fan will automatically
switch to the stand-by mode and the room temperature will be shown on the
display B1.
Turning the fan on and off
While the fan is in stand-by mode, press button and the fan will start. "1"
will appear on the display B1. Then the value "1" will stabilise and you can make
personal fan settings.
When not using the fan any more, press button and the fan will switch to the
stand-by mode. Wait until the fan blades A2 stop turning and then disconnect the
power plug from the power socket.
Speed setting
Button serves to set the air flow speed. Repeatedly press button to switch
the speeds in the following order: 1 – 2 – 3. The selected speed will flash on the
display B1 for a few moments and when the value stabilises, the fan will start
running at the selected speed.
Selecting an operating mode
To select an operating mode, use button . Repeatedly press button to select
the desired mode: "Natural", " Smart" or "Normal". When the operating mode
"Smart" or "Natural" is selected, the indicator light above the selected operating
mode will be lit. When no indicator light is lit, the "Normal" operating mode is
selected.
1. Operating mode "Natural" – in this operating mode the speed automatically
changes from low to high and back in short time intervals.
2. Operating mode "Smart" – in this operating mode the fan speed is set
automatically depending on the temperature in the room.
If the temperature in the room is ≥ 35°C, the fan automatically sets the highest
speed.
If the temperature in the room is in the range from 29 °C to 34 °C, the fan will
automatically switch between medium speed and high speed in 15-second
intervals.
If the temperature in the room is in the range from 26 °C to 28 °C, the fan will
automatically switch between medium speed and low speed in 15-second intervals.
If the temperature in the room is ≤ 25°C, the fan automatically sets the low speed.
3. Operating mode "Normal" – in this mode, the fan speed is set according to
personal preferences.
Setting the automatic shut-off timer:
To set the automatic shut-off timer, use button . Press button and "0" will
appear on the display and the indicator light above the button will be lit. Repeatedly
press button to set the time (0 hours to 8 hours), after which the fan will shut
off automatically.
Setting oscillation
The fan enables vertical and horizontal oscillation to be set concurrently.
To set the vertical oscillation, press button . The fan will start to automatically
move up and down. Press again to turn off the vertical oscillation. The fan will
remain at the angle at which it was turned off.
To set the horizontal oscillation, press button . The fan will start automatically
turning left and right. Press again to turn off the horizontal oscillation. The fan will
remain at the angle at which it was turned off.
Note:
If you need to set the fan to acertain position, use the vertical or horizontal
oscillation button (not both) and when the fan is in the desired position,
press the vertical or horizontal oscillation button. This will stop the vertical
or horizontal oscillation, and the fan will be set in the desired position.
Temperature display
The fan has asensor that senses the ambient temperature. Temperature details are
shown on display B1 in the fan'sstand-by mode.
Power-saving mode
The fan has a power-saving mode, which dims the display B1 approximately
15seconds after the last setting was made. Press any button to light up the display
B1 again.
REMOTE CONTROL
Inserting and replacing batteries in the remote control
Slide out the battery compartment from the underside side of the remote control
and insert aCR2032 type 3V battery into it. When inserting the battery, heed the
correct polarity.
If the battery in the remote control is flat, replace it with anew battery of the same
type.
If you decide not to use the remote control for an extended period of time, we
recommend removing the battery. If the battery were to leak into the inner area of
the remote control, this could result in its damage.
Note:
Never put batteries in afire, short circuit them or damage them in any
way. Dispose of them ecologically at the end of their lifetime. Never throw
batteries out with communal waste.
The function of the buttons on the remote control and the control panel A3 are the
same. If you wish to use the remote control, point it at the control panel A3.
Note:
If there are obstacles located between the remote control and the control
panel A3, the signal may not be transmitted.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning it, make sure that the fan is turned off and disconnected from the
power socket.
For cleaning, do not use cleaning products with an abrasive effect, solvents, etc. that
could damage the appliance.
Warning:
To prevent the risk of injury by electrical shock, do not submerge
the appliance, power cord or power plug in water or any another
liquid.
To clean the outer surface of the of the fan, use aclean, lightly dampened cloth. Then
wipe everything so that it is thoroughly dry. Make sure that when cleaning, no water
leaks into the motor unit A8.
The fan blades may also be cleaned using avacuum cleaner with a brush nozzle
fitted. First it is necessary to remove the front protective grille A1 by removing the
screws located on the bottom rear edge of the fan. Then carefully turn the front
cover A1 anticlockwise. Screw out the fan blade cover in order to remove the fan
blades A2 – see figure D.
Note:
If the fan blades A2 are excessively soiled, they can be washed in warm
water with asmall amount of neutral cleaning agent. Rinse and wipe dry.
Before reinserting, check that the fan blades A2 are completely dry.
STORAGE
If you will not be using the fan for alonger period of time, store it in aclean, dry
location that is out of reach of children.
