7 MAINTENANCE
In order to keep the life expectancy of your stove as high as possible, we advise you to do a yearly
check-up and maintenance. When it is frequently used, it is advisable to do little cleaning chores on
frequent basis, such as emptying the ash tray / grill and cleaning the window.
Annual maintenance is best executed by your technical installing company
Maintenance and cleaning may only be done when the stove and its fuel has cooled
down !!
It is possible that the previous combustion leaves charcoal residues. It is not necessary to remove these
each time. These will burn in the next burn and help the wood to reach the correct burning temperature.
Emptying the ash tray
Clean the ash tray regularly. Don’t let slacks occur so cooling down the grill is prevented. When
insufficient air can cool down the grill, it will start glowing and make sure that it doesn’t last at long as it
should.
When cleaning the ash tray, us the handle that was delivered together with the stove.
