THE HEART OF THE
AIR-KING MODEL
The Oyster Perpetual Air-King perpetuates
the aeronautical heritage of the original
Rolex Oyster. It features a distinctive
dial with a combination of large 3, 6 and
9 numerals marking the hours, and a
prominent minutes scale for navigational
time readings. The Air-King’s 40mm
Oyster case, guaranteed waterproof to
a depth of 100 metres (330feet), is a
paragon of robustness. It is also fitted
with a shield to protect against magnetic
fields, a characteristic of pilots’ watches
of the past. The sapphire crystal is
virtually scratchproof.
The Oyster Perpetual Air-King is
equipped with a self-winding mechanical
movement entirely manufactured by
Rolex.
It features an Oyster bracelet with
a folding Oysterclasp and the Easylink
comfort extension system.
