TYPE B; BLUETOOTH'"HEADSET PROFIL.E
SETUP
a. Press PAIR button (1) about 4 seconds, the LED
indicator twinkle rapidly, PAIA button (1), the LED
twinkles slow, and it enters into Headset pair mode;
if click PAIA button (1) about 1.5 seconds, secede
from pair mode.
b. Turn the phone to Bluetooth'. Menu, then scan
Bluetooth" set and enter the connecting password
(000°' lo connect Bluetoolh set after successful
scan. \ If the pair ready the phone will display
symbol (..).
c. Single click TALK button, the phone will display
symbol (< / >), the phone can be used as normal.
OPERATION
a. Single click TALK button (3) at in call time, means
accept the incoming call.
b. Single click TALK button (3) at communicated
lime,
means hang up.
c. When the user dialling an outgoing call, you can
press TALK button (3) once to cancel the dialling
call.
d. When dialling an outgoing call, press TALK button
(3) once to cancel the dialling call.
HEADSET AND HANDSFREE PROFILES
DIFFERENCE:
Headset profile is the first Bluetooth" profile
designed far mobile phone in about 1999.lt simply
provides a fundamental audio connection between a
mobile phone and a headset.
As people want more convenient and functional usa-
ge, SIG made another profile in about 2001 called
Handsfree profile which is more likely designed for
mobile phone and car. It not only establishes an
audio
connection between a mobile phone and a
handsfree unit, but also provides a combinations of
telephony functions, voice recongnition and acoustic
echo cancellation.
MICROPHONE
You can talk toward the microphone (4). If you are
not near the commander, you can connect another
microphone through the external microphone jack
(6).
BLUETOOTH NOTICE
In Bluelooth headset and handsfree profile, if the
mobile phone have been restart or back lo the
receiving area of the Bluetooth again, it need press
the TALK button to connect the Bluelooth' set and
the phone far normal use.
.The Bluetooth" symbol (..) and the connected
symbol (< / >) on the mobile phone will be different
form one to another. Please refer lo the
corresponding specification.
.The LED turns on when an audio connection exists
(e.g. talking) or when it is ringing.
.When the main unit turns on, if there is a call
incoming, it will auto switch to talk state.
.When you hang up the phone, the main unit will
revert to previous state (radio, CD or other mode).
.When the main unit turns off (with ACC ON), if there
is a call incoming, il will auto turn on and enter into
talk mode. When hang up the phone, the main unit
will turn off automatically.
One reason to keep the Headset profile in handsfree
unit is compatible far early Bluelooth mobile phones
that only supports Headset profile. In general, the
Headset profile will be less supported by mobile
phone
in the future. But it is still valuable far connecting to
PC or PDA devices.
