Scooter Problem Indicators
There are three stages when reporting a problem.
Remember that the Service Provider is there to help you. They will ask you specific
questions that need to be answered honestly. This will allow the service engineer to be
equipped with the correct part when visiting you.
Before phoning the Service Provider:
Check to try to determine what is wrong with the scooter: If there is a wrench and a
number flashing on the tiller display (page 13), you may be able to correct the problem
yourself. The list below shows you which problems you can fix yourself, and the others
that require a call to the Service Provider for them to fix.
Problem on display What to do
Wrench 1: Battery needs recharging Charge the batteries*
Wrench 2: Voltage low Charge the batteries
Wrench 3: Voltage too high Phone Service Provider
Wrench 4: Ignition sleep mode Turn ignition off, then on
Wrench 5: Brake problem or freewheel engaged Check freewheel (Page 12)
Wrench 6: Lever mechanism problem Phone Service Provider
Wrench 7: Speed pot error Phone Service Provider
Wrench 8: Motor error Phone Service Provider
Wrench 9: Other error Phone Service Provider
If you phone the Service Provider, inform them of the number showing on the tiller display.
* Make sure the battery charger is completing its full charge; if not, inform the Service
Provider.
