1. Unscrew the two screws (6) and remove the top cover (7).
2. Remove the two screws (1) that hold the upper hinge (5).
3. Remove the upper hinge.
4. Lift the door off the lower hinge pin.
Place it on a padded surface to prevent it from being scratched.
5. Remove the foot (3) and the two screws (8) that hold the lower hinge.
6. Remove the lower hinge (2) with hinge pin (9).
7. Unscrew the left front foot (4) and transfer it the right side.
8. Unscrew the hinge pin (9) and re-fit it to the other side of the lower hinge (reversed).
9. Screw the lower hinge onto the left side of the lower frame with two screws (8) and the
foot (3).
10. Position the door in place making sure the door seats onto the lower hinge.
11. Align the door in the closed position to secure the upper hinge in the top frame on the
left side with the screws (1).
Make sure all the screws are tightened.
12. Re-fit the top cover by tightening the screws (6).

may notice some rather unusual noises. The noises are caused by circulation of
refrigerant in the cooling system. It has become more pronounced since the introduction of
CFC free gases. This is not a fault and will not affect the performance of your fridge.

If the appliance is not in use for a long period of time, proceed as follows:
Disconnect from the mains supply.
Clean and dry the inside (see ‘Cleaning and maintenance’).
Leave the door open to prevent any unpleasant smells from building up while the
appliance is not in use.

Theice box compartment will need defrosting periodically or when the frost is more than
3mm thick.
1. Unplug the appliance.
2. Remove the ice trays.
Ensure the drip tray is located correctly under the ice box.
3. When ice box compartment is fully defrosted, clean the inside (see ‘Cleaning and
maintenance’).
4. Close the door and plug the appliance in.
5. Set the thermostat temperature control to your normal setting.
