ted the Voice Mail, after 5 rings this LED
will flash anyway.
As soon as you lift the handset of this
TX-250, the LED will go OFF so it is
recommendable to first dial the number
of your Voice Mail and listen if someone
left a message for you.
MEMORIES
The TX-250 has an internal memory with
the following specifications:
A: 3 one-touch memories for frequently
dialed numbers or alarm-numbers
B: 10 two-touch memories
C: 70 phonebook memories for tele-
phone numbers with name. This
memory is linked to the Caller-ID; if
the Caller-ID receives a call with a
number which is stored in this
memory, the display will show the
matching name.
PROGRAMMING
one-tounch and two-touch memories
1. leave the handset on the craddle and
press and release button
2. key in the telephone number on the
keyboard
3. press again
4. press one of the three memory
buttons (M1, M2 or M3) or one of the
keys (0-9) on the keyboard
5. repeat steps 1 to 4 for the other
memory positions
phonebook memories
1. leave the handset on the cradle
2. press and hold button
3. press ∆, the display shows
“ADD >>”
now release the buttons
4. press ∆, the text
“ADD >>
” dis-
appears, now key-in the telephone-
number
5. as soon as the number is program-
med, press button and keep it
pressed until the cursor starts to flash
in the lower left corner
7. input the name, using the keyboard-
buttons; e.g. press 3x key -5- to
get the “L” ( = back, = next)
8. as soon as the name is programmed,
press and hold until the name and
number disappears and the cursor
starts to flash on the right side of the
display
9. program the next name/number or
press to end the procedure
DIALING:
one-tounch and two-touch memories
1. pick up the handset or press button
and wait for the dialtone
2. press one of the three memory
buttons (M1, M2 or M3) or press
button M followed by one of the keys
(0-9) on the keyboard
3. the programmed number will auto-
matically be dialed
phonebook memories:
1. leave the handset on the cradle
2. press and hold button
3. press ∆, the display shows
“ADD”
you may now release these buttons
4. press ∆ the display shows
“REVIEW
”
5. use ∆ and ∇ to look for the name /
number to be dialed
6. lift the handset or press button
7. the number will be dialed
