PRINCESS ROYAL BLENDER TURBO 10-SPEED ART. 212004 V1
Please read these instructions at your leisure and save them for future reference. The PRINCESS ROYAL
BLENDER is ideal for beating, mixing, pureeing or crumbling all sorts of ingredients. We advise you to
clean the blender, including the blades and lid, before first use and to remove any labels.
UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLY
Carefully remove all the parts from the packaging; the glass bowl is fragile.
TIPS FOR USE
Keep in mind that a blender works in seconds, not in minutes. If the blender is on too long, the ingredients
will be beaten to a pulp. The blender works best when only small quantities of food are processed at a
time. Cut any larger pieces until no pieces are larger than 2 to 3 cm. Place the lid on the blender, before
turning it on, to prevent splattering. The stopper in the middle of the lid can be removed while the
appliance is so that additional ingredients can be added. If the motor stops, or if food sticks to the side of
the jug, the blender must be turned off. Wait until the motor has completely stopped, then use a wooden
or plastic spoon or spatula to push the ingredients from the sides. If the motor begins to go audibly slower
during use, it is best if you switch to a higher speed. After use wash the jug immediately. In order to avoid
overheating it is recommended that the blender is not used for more than 3 minutes at a time and that it is
allowed to cool down for 2 minutes between uses.
Recommended speeds
1/2 Beating
3/4 Pureeing
5/6 Crumbling
7/8 Cutting and grating
9/10 Mixing
The ON/OFF button is a pulse switch. The motor will only run if this button is held pushed in. The button
is intended for very short use only.
User tips:
- Do not store any food in the blender.
- Do not turn the blender on while it is empty.
- The blender is not suited for beating egg white, processing raw meat or dough, or juicing or pressing
fruits or vegetables.
- Fruit must always be peeled. Cut the fruit into small pieces before adding it to the blender.
- Some vegetables, such as tomatoes, must also be peeled and cut up.
HOT LIQUIDS
The lid can soften at higher temperatures so that the stopper loosens and the contents of
the blender can splash out. Therefore a hot liquid must first be allowed to cool down before
it is added to the blender. Keep one hand on the lid to hold it in place during blending. If
the lid feels too hot, remove it at once and allow the liquid to cool down for longer. Put the
lid back on before continuing.
GRINDING ICE
If you want to use the blender to grind ice first check that it is clean and if necessary rinse
the blender thoroughly. Any residual cleaning material will spoil the taste of the ground ice
or a drink. Ice blocks come in various shapes and sizes, therefore we recommend that you
experiment with the ice first. Start with half or three-quarters of a cup of ice or 4 to 6
blocks and add 15 ml (1 dessert spoon) fresh cold water.
