▪ Lift the side discharge flap (13), install the side discharge chute (19).
NOTE: For the best performance in “side discharge chute” mode, insert the
mulching block.
NOTE : The side discharge guard needs to be closed for the 3 other types of
mowing.
10.2.3 Mowing with the grass catch bag (Fig. 14)
WARNING: only with a stopped motor and standstill cutter.
Regularly clean the sideward flap and discharge opening form grass rest and stuck dirt.
Mount the grass catch bag:
▪ To fit: raise the rear cover and hitch the grass catch bag on rear of mower.
▪ To remove: grasp and lift the rear cover, remove the grass catch bag.
10.2.4 Operating without a grass collecting box (Fig. 15 )
You can operate the lawnmower without collect box (5). Lift the rear cover (24) take out the
support pin (25) from position 1, insert it on position 2. Now the rear cover is lifted, in this way
the grass can come out more efficiently from the deck.
10.2.5 Edge cutting (Fig. 16)
Lawn mower is designed so that the diameter of the deck lies outside the line of wheels. In this
way you can cut the edges very easily.
11 MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT - Regular, careful maintenance is essential for keeping the
safety level and original performance of the machine unchanged in time.
Stop the engine and disconnect and earth the spark plug before any
repairing or maintenance operations.
Warning! Risk of injury due to dangerous moving parts!
Complicated operations – not listed here below – must be carried out by a
specialized technical assistance centre.
The replacement of the cutting device should be done by a qualified
specialist! Rework or sharpening blades is not recommended unless it is
done by a repair service or a similarly qualified specialist!
▪ Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition.
Regular maintenance is essential for safety and performance.
▪ Never store the equipment with fuel in the tank inside a building where fumes can reach
an open flame, a spark or a source of extreme heat.
▪ Allow the engine to cool before storing in any enclosure.
