8.2 Folding handle (Fig. 1)
▪ Insert the lower handle (16) into the corresponding holes in the deck (17) and fix the lower
handles with the two locking knobs (15). (Fig. 1A)
▪ Screw the upper handle (18) with the two locking knobs. (Fig. 1B)
Caution: Traction and starter cables must always be positioned on top of the
cross bar of the push handle. This provides free movement of the cables on
top of the lower section of the push handle, when the handle is folded.
Incorrect mounting of these cables could lead to damaging and/or straining
them, resulting in a malfunction of the machine. In this case the guaranty is
void.
8.3 Starter handle (Fig. 2)
Move the starter handle from the engine to the rope guide.
8.4 Collect box (Fig. 3)
▪ Clip the plastic edges of the box onto the frame and attach the clips.
▪ Fix the handle on the top cover of the grass collect box (5)
▪ Lift the rear cover (20), remove the mulching plug (22) and install the grass collect box (5).
8.5 Wheels assembly (Fig. 4)
Step 1: Remove all nuts and washers from all 4 axles using an M10 wrench (supplied).
Step 2: Mount the two front wheels and fasten the nuts with the wrench as shown in the
illustration.
Step 3: First slide a washer over the rear axles, then the wheel and again a washer, fasten
with a nut as shown in the illustration.
Step 4: Finish by mounting the wheel covers, push and tap them in to place as shown in the
illustration.
9 BEFORE STARTING
This lawn mower is shipped WITHOUT OIL OR GASOLINE in the engine
9.1 Engine oil
All engines are run at the factory prior to packaging. Most of the oil is removed prior to
shipment; however, some oil remains in the engine. The amount of oil left in the engine varies.
Add enough oil to bring the oil level between the upper and lower limit marks on the dipstick
(Fig. 5). Do not overfill engine with oil.
9.1.1 Add gasoline (Fig. 6)
WARNING: never fill fuel tank indoors, with engine running or until the engine
has been allowed to cool for at least 15 minutes after running.
NOTE: Engine delivered without gasoline, refuel 1.0 liter before starting the
engine.
▪ Remove the fuel cap (6).
▪ Add fuel to the bottom of the fuel level limit in the neck of the fuel tank. Do not overfill.
Wipe up spilled fuel before starting the engine.
▪ Tighten the fuel tank cap.
