1. Unscrew the hand knob (G1) and simultaneously lift the red security
ring (G2). Open the jaw (G3) to an aperture wider than the luggage carrier.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to bicycles fitted with rear
shock absorbers.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to a racing bicycle with
drop handlebar.
• This child bicycle seat must not be mounted to Motorized Vehicles such
as Mopeds and Scooters.
• The child bicycle seat must be assembled on a carrier with a load capacity
of 27kg, according to the ISO 11243 standard.
• The maximum weight applied to the carrier cannot exceed 27kg.
• For safety reasons this seat shall only be fitted to luggage carriers in
accordance with ISO 11243 - 120 to 175 mm.
• The child bicycle seat must be assembled on bicycles with wheels with
diameters of 26”, 28” and 29”.
• This child bicycle seat is only suitable for carrying children with a
maximum weight of 22 Kg (and children with recommended ages ranging
from 9 months to 5 years of age - with the weight as the decisive variable).
• The total weight of the cyclist and the child transported must not exceed
the maximum permitted load permitted for the bicycle. Information on
the maximum load can be found in the operating instructions of the
bicycle. You can also contact the manufacturer for this question.
• The seat may only be mounted on a bicycle suitable for the attachment
of such additional loads.
• The position of the child bicycle seat must be adjusted so that the bicycle
rider does not touch the child bicycle seat with the feet when in motion.
• It’s very important to adjust correctly the seat and its component parts
for optimum comfort and safety of the child. It’s also important that the
seat does not slope forward, so that the child does not tend to slide out of
it. It’s also important that the backrest slope backward slightly.
• Check if all parts of the bicycle function correctly with the child bicycle
seat mounted.
• Check the instructions of the bicycle, and If you have any doubts

For child safety and for your peace of mind, Polisport has developed the
perfect child carrying solution that’s suitable for a wide range of adult
bicycles.
Our ergonomic child seats are all built with safety and comfort as the
primary goals.
In this manual, you will find the information to attach the baby seat to
the carrier.
Carefully read the manual for a safe and correct installation of the child
bicycle seat.
REAR CHILD SEAT FOR BICYCLE
CARRIER MOUNTING SYSTEM

• The rider must be at least 16 years of age; Check legislation and national
regulations pertaining to this.
• Make sure that the weight and height of the child do not exceed the
maximum capacity of the seat, and check this at regular intervals. Check
the weight of the child before using the child seat. Under no circumstances
should you use the child bicycle seat to transport a child whose weight is
above the permissible limit.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Detach the safety-belt (C/C1) in order to remove the child seat. To remove
the seat from the luggage carrier, unfasten the hand knob (G1) and lift
simultaneously the red security ring (G2) in order to open the jaw (G3)
wider than the width of the luggage carrier.
HOW TO REMOVE YOUR BICYCLE SEAT
2. Place the seat on the luggage carrier and then fasten the hand knob
(G1) so that the seat remains slightly attached to the luggage carrier.
Check if the jaw (G3) is properly fastened to the luggage carrier.
3. Fasten the hand knob (G1) so that the seat is well attached to the
luggage carrier. As soon as the hand knob is well tightened, make sure the
security lever is properly held as shown in the picture.
4. The child seat has a centre of gravity (F) (inscribed on the child seat) that
must be positioned in front of the rear wheel axle. If it is positioned behind
the axle, the distance must not exceed 10 cm. If the centre of gravity is
more than this distance from the axle, adjust the seat to the correct
position. Special care must also be taken when positioning the child seat
to ensure that the cyclist does not touch the child seat with his feet when
cycling. Make sure that the mounting plate (G) is firmly attached to the
carrier before proceeding. This step is extremely important for child and
cyclist safety. Check the safety of the fasteners regularly.
Note: In Germany, according to the German Traffic Law StVZO, bicycle
seats may only be fixed so that 2/3 of the seat depth or the Gravity Center
of the seat is located between the front and rear axle of the bicycle..
5. Pass the safety belt (C) around the bicycle frame. Adjust it as shown
in the picture, under tension. Make sure that remain loosen belt is not in
contact with the wheel. This step is extremely important for the child’s
safety.
6. Fasten the safety belt (C1) to the luggage bicycle rack. Adjust it as
shown in the picture, under tension. Make sure that remain loosen belt

7. To place the child in the seat, first fully extend the belt straps (B), sliding
the adjusters (B2). This makes it easier to put the child in the seat. To put
the child in the seat, open the lock (B1) of the safety belt (B) and press the
three buttons of the lock (B1) as indicated.
According to the child growth you can adjust the height of the belt on the
hole for belt adjustment (B4).
Note: Before starting the journey, always check that the child is secured
and that the belt is snug but not so tight that it hurts the child. We
recommend that the child’s helmet be put on after the belt is adjusted.
Note: Always use the restraint system.
8. Adjust the height of the footrest according to the size of the child. To
do this, raise the lever (E1) and slide it up or down for the required height.
After deciding on the correct height, lower the lever (E1) to lock in place.
9. To guarantee your child’s safety, adjust the strap (D) of the footrest.
Unlock the strap (D) and adjust it to the child’s foot. Lock it again making
sure the strap does not hurt the child.
10. Make sure you have followed and fulfilled all the instructions given.
When done so, the child bicycle seat is ready for use. IT IS MANDATORY
TO READ the following chapter on safety instructions about using your

To keep the child bicycle seat in good working condition and to prevent
accidents we recommend the following:
• Check regularly the mounting system of the seat to the bicycle in order
to make sure it is in perfect condition.
• Check all the components to see if they work properly. Do not use the
seat if any of the components are damaged. Damaged components
must be replaced. In order to replace them you need to visit your local
authorized POLISPORT dealer in order to get the correct components for
replacement. You can find them on the website: www.polisport.com.
• If you have suffered an accident with your bicycle and safety seat, we
advise you to get a new safety seat. Even if there is no visible damage
to the seat.
• Clean the seat with soap and water (do not use abrasive, corrosive or
toxic products). Leave it to dry at room temperature.

WARNING: The cycle may behave differently with a child in the seat
particularly with regard to balance, steering and braking.
WARNING: Never leave the cycle parked with a child in the seat

WARRANTY
• Do not carry a child less than 9 months of age in this child bicycle seat. To
be a passenger, the child must be able to sit up straight with the head held
upright while wearing a bicycle helmet. A doctor should be consulted if
the child’s growth is questionable.
• Secure the child into child bicycle seat ensuring that all the safety belts
and straps applied firmly but not so tight as to cause discomfort to the
child. Please check the safety of the fasteners often.
• The child bicycle seat must never be used before adjusting the safety
belt.
• Always use all safety restraint system and straps to ensure that the child
is secured in the seat.
• Do not allow any part of the child’s body or clothing, shoelaces, child
bicycle seat belts, etc. to come in contact with moving parts of the bicycle
because can be harmful to the child or cause accidents.
• A wheel protector is recommended to prevent the child from inserting
its feet or hands between the spokes. The use of protection underneath
the saddle or the use of a saddle with internal springs is mandatory.
Make certain that the child is not able to hinder the brakes, thus avoiding
accidents. These adjustments should be revised with child´s growth.
• Dress the child in proper clothes according to weather conditions and
use an appropriate helmet.
• Children in child seats need to be more warmly dressed than riders of
cycles and should be protected from rain.
• You must cover any sharp or pointy objects on the bicycle that may be
reached by the child, in any situation.
• The seat and cushion can get hot if under the sun for a long time. Make
sure that they are not too hot before seating the child.
• Check for any laws and regulations that might be in force in your country.

• Carry only children that are able to sit unaided for a longer period of time,
at least as long as the intended cycle journey.
• When the child bicycle seat is not in use, fasten the waist buckle of the
security harness to prevent the straps from dangling and entering in
contact with some turning part of the bicycle as wheels, brakes, etc. as
these may be a hazard to the cyclist.
WARNING: Additional security devices shall always be fastened.
WARNING: Do not attach additional luggage to the child carrier. If you
carry additional luggage its weight must not exceed the bicycle’s carrying
capacity and it must be carried in front of the rider.
WARNING: Fasten the hand knob (G1) so that the seat is well attached to
the luggage carrier. As soon as the hand knob is well tightened, make sure
the security lever is properly held as shown in the picture (3).
WARNING: Remove the seat when transporting the bicycle by car (outside
the car). Air turbulence might damage the seat or loosen its fastenings or
other suspended elements, which could lead to an accident.

• Ce siège vélo enfant ne devra pas être monté sur un vélo de course à

• Ce siège vélo enfant ne devra pas être monté sur véhicules motorisés tels
que des cyclomoteurs ou des scooters.
• Ce siège vélo enfant doit être placé sur un porte-bagages capable de
supporter un poids de 27 kg, conformément à la norme ISO 11243.
• Le poids de chargement du porte-bagages ne peut excéder 27 kg.
• Pour des raisons de sécurité, ce siège doit uniquement être monté sur un
porte-bagages conforme à la norme ISO 11243 - 120 à 175 mm.
• Le siège vélo enfant peut être monté sur des vélos avec roues de
diamètres entre 26”, 28” et 29”.
• Ce siège est conçu pour porter des enfants jusqu’à 22 kg maximum et
n’est recommandé que pour les enfants âgés de 9 mois à 5 ans, le poids
étant la variable décisive.
• Le poids total du cycliste et de l’enfant transporté ne doit pas dépasser
la capacité maximale autorisée du vélo. L’information relative à la capacité
maximale peut être trouvée dans les instructions de fonctionnement du
vélo, Vous pourrez également contacter le fabricant sur cette question.
• Le siège ne pourra être monté que sur un vélo adapté à la fixation d’une
telle charge supplémentaire.
• La position du siège vélo enfant doit être ajustée afin que le conducteur
ne puisse pas le toucher avec les pieds lorsqu’il pédale.
• Il est très important de régler correctement le siège et ses composants
afin d’offrir à l’enfant une sécurité et un confort optimal. Il est également
important que le siège ne soit pas incliné vers l’avant afin d’éviter que

l’enfant ne glisse hors du siège. Il est également important que le dossier
soit légèrement incliné vers l’arrière.

1. Desserrez la poignée de mounting (G1), en levant simultanément
l’anneau rouge de sécurité (G2), permettant ainsi d’ouvrir les mâchoires de
fixation (G3) à une largeur supérieure à celle du au porte-bagages.
2. Installez le porte-bébé sur le porte-bagages et serrez la poignée de fixation
(G1) de manière à ce que le porte-bébé soit légèrement fixé au porte-bagages.
Vérifiez que les mâchoires (G3) soient bien fixées au porte-bagages.
3. Resserrez fortement la poignée de fixation (G1) afin que le porte-
bébé soit bien fixé au porte-bagages. Une fois la poignée de fixation
correctement serrée, assurez-vous que les crans de sécurité soient
parfaitement enclenchés, comme le montre l’image.
4. Le siège enfant dispose d’un centre de gravité (F) (inscrit sur le siège
enfant) qui doit être placé devant l’axe de la roue arrière. S’il est placé
derrière l’axe, la distance ne doit pas dépasser 10 cm. Si le centre de
gravité est placé à une distance supérieure de l’axe, ajuster le siège dans
la position correcte. Une prudence particulière s’impose au moment de
placer le siège enfant afin de garantir que le cycliste ne touche pas le siège
enfant avec ses pieds en roulant. Assurez- vous que la plaque de montage
(G) est fermement attachée au porte-bagages avant de poursuivre. Cette
étape est extrêmement importante pour la sécurité de l’enfant et du
cycliste. Vérifiez régulièrement la sécurité des languettes.
Note : En Allemagne, conformément à la législation routière StVZO, les
siège vélo enfant ne peuvent être installés sur le vélo qu’a contition que les
2/3 de la profondeur du siège ou le centre de gravité du siège se situe(nt)
entre l’axe avant et arrière du vélo.
5. Passer la ceinture de sécurité (C) autour du cadre du vélo; l’ajuster
comme indiqué sur la photo, afin qu’elle soit tendue. S’assurer que le reste
de la ceinture détendue ne reste pas en contact avec la roue. Cette étape
est extrêmement importante pour la sécurité de l’enfant.
6. Serrez la ceinture de sécurité (C1) du porte-bagages du vélo. Ajustez-la
pour être sous tension, comme indiqué sur la figure. Assurez-vous que la
ceinture, qui demeure desserrée, n’est pas en contact avec la roue. Cette
étape est extrêmement importante pour la sécurité de l’enfant.
7. Pour placer l’enfant sur le siège vélo, déployez en premier lieu et
entièrement les sangles de la ceinture (B), en faisant coulisser les ajusteurs
(B2). Cela facilite le placement de l’enfant sur le siège vélo.
Pour placer l’enfant sur le siège vélo, ouvrez le fermoir (B1) de la ceinture de
sécurité (B) et appuyer sur les trois boutons du fermoir (B1), comme indiqué.
Durant la croissance de l’enfant, vous pourrez ajuster la longueur de la
ceinture au niveau de l’ouverture de l’ajustement de la ceinture (B4).
Note: Avant d’initier tout voyage, vérifiez toujours si l’enfant est en sécurité
et que la ceinture demeure bien ajustée, mais non serrée au point de
blesser l’enfant. Nous recommandons que le casque de l’enfant soit posé
après avoir ajusté la ceinture. Note : toujours utiliser le système de retenue.
8. Ajustez la hauteur du repose-pied à la taille de l’enfant. Pour ce faire,
remontez le levier (E1) et poussez-le vers le haut ou le bas selon la hauteur

souhaitée. Après avoir obtenu la correcte hauteur, baissez le levier (E1) et
verrouillez la position.
9. Pour garantir la sécurité de votre enfant, ajustez les courroies de
maintien (D) des repose-pieds. Libérez la courroie (D) du cran d’arrêt et
l’ajustez au pied de l’enfant; fixez-la de nouveau en vous assurant qu’elle
ne blesse pas l’enfant.
10. Vérifiez que vous avez bien suivi l’ensemble des instructions. Une fois
la vérification effectuée, le siège velo enfant est prêt à être utilisé. IL EST
IMPÉRATIF DE LIRE le chapitre suivant sur les instructions de sécurité
lors de l’utilisation de votre siège vélo enfant.
Détachez la ceinture de sécurité (C/C1) pour retirer le siège vélo enfant.
Pour enlever le siège vélo enfant du porte- bagages, dévissez la poignée
de fixation (G1), en soulevant simultanément l’anneau rouge (G2),
permettant ainsi d’ouvrir les mâchoires de fixation (G3) à une largeur
supérieure à celle du au porte-bagages.
COMMENT RETIRER VOTRE SIÈGE DE VÉLO
• Le conducteur du vélo doit être âgé de 16 ans au moins. Veuillez vous
renseigner sur les lois et règlements en vigueur dans votre pays.
• Assurez-vous que le poids et la hauteur de l’enfant ne dépassent pas la
capacité maximale du siège et vérifiez cette information régulièrement.
Vérifiez le poids de l’enfant avant d’utiliser le siège enfant. N’utilisez en
aucun cas le siège vélo enfant pour transporter un enfant dont le poids est
supérieur à la limite permise.
• N’utilisez pas ce siège vélo enfant pour des enfants âgés de moins de 9
mois. Pour circuler comme passager, l’enfant doit pouvoir s’asseoir bien
droit et la tête haute lorsqu’il porte un casque de protection. Consultez un
médecin si l’enfant présente des problèmes de développement.
• Attachez l’enfant au siège en vous assurant que les ceintures de sécurité
et les courroies sont bien en place et correctement serrées (sans excès
toutefois, afin que l’enfant n’ éprouve aucune gêne). Veuillez vérifier
régulièrement la sécurité des languettes.
• N’utilisez jamais le siège vélo enfant avant d’avoir ajusté la ceinture de
sécurité.
• Toujours utiliser le système et les sangles de retenue de sécurité afin de
garantir la sécurité de l’enfant sur le siège.
• Vérifiez qu’en toutes circonstances aucune partie du corps de l’enfant ou
de ses vêtements, (lacets, ceintures de sécurité, etc. ne puissent être en
contact avec une partie mobile de la bicyclette; ce qui pourrait blesser
l’enfant ou provoquer un accident.
• Il est recommandé d’installer une protection sur la roue afin d’éviter
que l’enfant ne puisse introduire ses pieds ou ses mains dans les rayons.
L’utilisation d’une protection sous la selle ou d’une selle dotée de ressorts
internes est obligatoire. Assurez-vous que l’enfant n’ait pas accès à la zone
des freins afin d’éviter tout accident. Ces ajustements devront être revus
durant la croissance de l’enfant.
• Habillez l’enfant avec des vêtements adéquats selon les conditions
météorologiques et équipez-le d’un casque approprié.
• Les enfants sur les sièges doivent être vêtus plus chaudement que les
cyclistes; ils doivent également être protégés de la pluie.
• Veillez à protéger tout élément pointu du vélo que l’enfant pourrait toucher.
• Le siège ainsi que le coussinet peuvent être très chauds en cas de
longue exposition solaire; assurez-vous qu’ils ne soient pas brûlants avant
d’asseoir l’enfant.
• Vérifiez les lois et règlements en vigueur dans votre pays concernant le
transport d’enfants à vélo.
• Transportez uniquement les enfants pouvant rester assis sans aide,
pendant un long moment, au moins durant le cycle de voyage envisagé.
• Lorsque le siège vélo enfant n’est pas utilisé, bouclez la ceinture du
harnais de sécurité afin d’éviter que les sangles se balancent et touchent
des parties en mouvement (roues, freins, etc.) et présentent un danger
pour le cycliste.
AVERTISSEMENT: Les dispositifs de sécurité supplémentaires doivent
toujours être fixés.

AVERTISSEMENT: N’ajoutez aucun bagage supplémentaire au siège vélo
enfant. En cas de transport de bagage supplémentaire, ce dernier ne doit
pas dépasser la capacité de charge du vélo et doit être transporté à l’avant
du cycliste.

Fahrradtouren mitnehmen können, haben wir die optimale Lösung für
die Beförderung Ihres Kindes auf den meisten Fahrradtypen entwickelt.
Wir haben unsere ergonomischen Kindersitze so entworfen, dass sie
besonders sicher und bequem sind.
In dieser Anleitung finden Sie Informationen zur Anbringung des
Kindersitzes am Gepäckträger.
Lesen Sie sich die Anleitung sorgfältig durch, um Ihren Kindersitz
sicher und sachgerecht zu montieren.
FAHRRADKINDERSITZ
FÜR GEPÄCKTRÄGERMONTAGE
DE
• Der Sitz darf nicht auf Fahrrädern mit rückwärtigen Stoßdämpfern
angebracht werden.
• Dieser Kindersitz darf nicht auf Rennrädern (mit nach unten gerichtetem
Lenker) angebracht werden.
• Dieser Kindersitz darf nicht auf motorisierten Fahrzeugen, wie Mofas oder
Rollern, angebracht werden.
• Der Kindersitz kann auf 26”, 28” und 29” Zoll-Fahrrädern montiert werden.
• Der Kindersitz muss auf einem Gepäckträger mit einer Tragfähigkeit on
mindestens 27 kg, gemäß Norm ISO11243, angebracht werden.
• Das den Träger belastende Höchstgewicht darf 27 kg nicht überschreiten.
• Aus Sicherheitsgründen sollte dieser Sitz ausschließlich auf
Gepäckträgern gemäß ISO11243 (120-175 mm) montiert werden.
• Dieser Kindersitz eignet sich nur für den Transport von Kindern mit einem
Maximalgewicht von 22 kg (und Kindern im empfohlenen Alter zwischen
9 Monaten und 5 Jahren – wobei das Gewicht entscheidendist).
• Das Gesamtgewicht von Radfahrer und befördertem Kind darf die fü r
das Fahrrad zugelassene Maximallast nicht überschreiten. Informationen
über die zulässige Maximallast können aus der Bedienungsanleitung des

PRODUKTVERZEICHNIS
1. Schrauben Sie den Drehknopf (G1) los und heben Sie gleichzeitig den
roten Sicherheitsring (G2). Öffnen Sie die Einspannklemme (G3) auf eine
Spannweite, die breiter ist als der Gepäckträger.
2. Setzen Sie den Kindersitz auf den Gepäckträger und drehen Sie den
Drehknopf (G1) leicht fest, bis der Sitz locker am Gepäckträger befestigt ist.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Einspannklemme (G3) korrekt am Gepäckträger
fixiert ist.
3. Drehen Sie nun den Drehknopf (G1) so dass der Kindersitz sicher am
Gepäckträger befestigt ist. Nachdem der Drehknopf gut festgedreht ist,
vergewissern Sie sich dass der Sicherheitshebel sich in der korrekten
Position (siehe Abb.) befindet.
4. Der Schwerpunkt (F) des Kindersitzes (Kennzeichnung auf dem
Kindersitz) muss vor der Hinterradachse oder maximal 10 cm hinter der
Hinterradachse liegen. Wenn der Schwerpunkt mehr als 10 cm hinter
der Hinterradachse liegt, stellen Sie den Sitz in die korrekte Position.
Achten Sie beim Anbringen des Kindersitzes auch darauf, dass der
Radfahrer den Kindersitz beim Fahren nicht mit seinen Füßen berührt.
Bevor Sie fortfahren, stellen Sie sicher, dass die Montageplatte (G)
fest am Gepäckträger angebracht ist. Dieser Schritt ist sehr wichtig
für die Sicherheit des Kindes. Überprüfen Sie die Sicherheit der
Befestigungselemente regelmäßig. Hinweise: Nach dem deutschen
Verkehrsrecht StVZO: Kindersitze dürfen nur so angebracht werden, dass
sich 2/3 der Sitztiefe oder der Schwerpunkt des Kindersitzes zwischen der
Vorder u Hinterachse des Fahrrades befindet.
5. Führen Sie den Sicherheitsgurt zur Fixierung am Fahrradrahmen (C) Um
den Fahrradrahmen und ziehen wie in der Abb. Dargestellt fest. Achten Sie
darauf, dass der gelockerte Gurt nicht mit dem Rad in Berührung kommt.
Dieser Schritt ist für die Sicherheit des Kindes sehr wichtig.
6. Den Sicherheitsgurt (C1) (an der Rückseite des kindersitzes) so am
Gepäckträger befestigen, dass er straff gespannt ist.
7. Bevor Sie das Kind in den Sitz setzen, müssen Sie zuerst die Gurte des
Sicherheits-gurts (B) mithilfe der Gurtversteller (B2) verlängern. Dadurch
ist es einfacher, das Kind in den Sitz setzen.
Um das Kind in den Sitz zu setzen, öffnen Sie zunächst das
Sicherheitsgurtschloss (B1) des Sicherheitsgurtes (B), indem Sie wie in der
Abbildung dargestellt auf die drei Knöpfe des Sicherheitsgurtschlosses
(B1) drücken
An der Aussparung zur Anpassung des Sicherheitsgurtes (B4) können Sie die
Höhe des Sicherheitsgurtes stets an die jeweilige Größe Ihres Kindes anpassen.

um optimalen Komfort und die Sicherheit des Kindes zu gewährleisten. Es
ist ebenso wichtig, dass der Sitz nicht nach vorne geneigt ist, damit das
Kind nicht aus dem Sitz rutschen kann. Zudem ist darauf zu achten, dass
die Rückenlehne leicht nach hinten geneigt ist.

• Überprüfen Sie nach der Montage des Kindersitzes, ob alle Bestandteile
des Fahrrads ordnungsgemäß funktionieren.
• Der Sitz darf nur an einem Fahrrad angebracht werden, welches für den
Anbau solcher zusätzlichen Lasten geeignet ist.
• Überprüfen Sie hierzu die Anleitung des Fahrrads oder kontaktieren
