Assembly
- Clean all detachable
parts first
(see Cleaning”).
- Place the knife unit
onto the motor unit
(fig. 2). Turn it until it
is properly fixed. It
may lock into position
at two points.
- Put the rubber sealing
ring on the inside edge
of the knife unit
(fig. 3).
- Place the glass jar on
the knife unit and
fasten it by turning the
handle (fig 4).
- Snap the rubber
intermediate ring into
the lid (fig. 5).
- After you have put the
ingredients in the jar,
put the lid onto the jar
and press it home.
Make sure the recess
in the lid is directly
opposite the handle
(fig. 6).
- Fit the stopper into the
filling hole in the lid
(fig. 7). Disassembly
takes place in reverse
order and direction.
Automatic safety system
The appliance has been equipped with an automatic
safety system that switches off the motor when the
jar has not been (correctly) assembled.
Note: Do not switch the appliance on and off by
turning the jar!
Use
- Make sure that you have put the plug in the wall
socket and fastened the jar onto the motor unit
before you switch the appliance on.
- Set the speed control
switch to the setting
appropriate for the
ingredients you wish to
process. The seven
speeds are indicated by
means of dots (fig. 8).
The larger the dot, the
higher the speed.
Speed For:
1 - 3 light blending jobs involving liquids
(e.g. chocolate milk)
4 - 6 processing of firmer ingredients,
involving the blending of liquids and
solids
7 heavy blending jobs, involving the
processing of mainly solid
ingredients
