Ignition keys and locks
Two keys are supplied with the scooter and are
identified by a number. Please keep them apart and
note the reference number. The ignition key :
- Makes the contact when starting
- Locks the steering
- Unlocks the saddle
- Starter switch
- Engine stopped
- Electrical contact position
- Steering locked
- Light switch
To comply with new European legislation the
lighting of your vehicle is now permanent.
- Starter button
Start as described on page 16
- Reverser high
beam/low beam *
- Turn signal light switch
To signal a change of direction :
- To the right, push the switch to
- To the left, push the switch to
The indicator is turned off by pressing the central
button.

Oil warning light*
VEHICLE WITH A BATTERY
Operation with the oil warning light
Normal operation
- The warning light goes on when the ignition is turned on, and shall
remain lit as long as the engine is not running.
- The warning light shall go off when the engine is running.
Abnormal operation
When the ignition is turned on, engine stopped
The warning light does not go on
Either the power of the electronic box is faulty.
- Do not start the engine to avoid damaging it and go to a
local dealer.
Or the bulb of the warning light is burnt out.
- As there is a doubt about the seriousness of the failure,
do not start the engine and go and see a local dealer.
When the engine is running
The warning light stays on
Turn off the ignition and check the oil level.
- You must add oil before riding out.
If the warning light stays on although there is enough oil.
- Turn off the ignition in order not to damage the engine
and go to a local dealer, with the engine stopped.
When riding
The warning light flashes quickly (approximately 6 times per
second) :
This means that the oil pump is out of order.
- Stop immediately according to traffic conditions and road
traffic regulations. Turn off the engine in order not to damage it,
and go to a local dealer, with the engine stopped.

Normal operation

- The warning light shall stay off when the engine is running.
Abnormal operation
When turning on the engine

Note
- If the warning light goes on or flashes when riding, you must
stop the vehicle and turn off the ignition. Always make sure that
the traffic conditions allow you to stop safely and always respect
the road traffic regulations.
- In normal riding conditions, if the warning light goes on and off
once in a while, this means that there is not enough oil (the
warning light will flash more often as the oil level goes down). Top
up with oil as soon as possible before the system gets out of
order and before the engine breaks.

    • Je wilt tweetaktolie aftappen.
      Je verwijdert de buddyseat en dat wat er onder zit, die bergruimte. Die zit met vier schroeven, beneden, in die bergruinte vast. Daar zit het benzine- en olieslangetje. Geantwoord op 11-6-2017 om 12:09
